Healthy Turkey Omelette and home style Potatoes
Dianna S.

Met friends for brunch to ring in the New Year and celebrate a friend's birthday. We had to wait a long time even after calling to be placed on the wait list. They were super busy with many people The restaurant is very bright and inviting. It was clean. The bathrooms were clean too. The place has many tables, chairs and booths. I believe there is a bar in the back. My food was delicious. I had a healthy turkey omelette with eggs instead of egg whites. The dish came with home style potatoes which were delicious. The coffee was pretty good. I think I drank three or four cups. We had a good time and I will return to try sine other entrees.

This just opened recently. We frequent this chain in Florida. This location, prob because it's new is crazy busy. The wait on Sat was 35-55 min. Also, parking in that shopping center is often a challenge. Food is very good. Service is friendly but not fast ( at least on this day). Cool ambiance fir a breakfast / brunch place ... they close at 2:30. Will def be back.

Food was delicious!! We had the farmhouse skillet, waffle, pancakes, and biscuits with gravy. Overall, I am really pleased with the food. Our server was wonderful. It was super packed. We had to wait 30 mins for a table then 30 mins for food. Will def be back on a not so busy day

This establishment is apparently very new. And as such, they did not have a seasonal menu. And that was a big disappointment. I like the seasonal menu. I got the traditional. It was fine. Eggs and potatoes both needed more seasoning. Pepper helped. Pancakes are huge. The million dollar potatoes were ordered by a tablemate and I had a nibble. Pretty good! The place was very busy. Again, it's new. So. But we had gotten on the list through the website. And it was damn near impossible to get someone to acknowledge us to let them know we had arrived. People who just walked up were able to get acknowledgement. But anyone who would talk to us would just send us to someone else. The third place we were sent, they would not - WOULD NOT!! - even look at us. I finally had to go rude and just start talking to the gal, telling her we got on the list via the website and we had arrived. She just basically said okay. No time estimate or anything. It was...weird. Frustrating. OH!!! And!!!! Okay agin, they just opened. But the window at our booth faced east. There were no window treatments. Luckily it was overcast for part of our meal. But we had the sun in our faces in a very unpleasant way. It wasn't the greatest experience, really. As I write this, I feel like I'm being generous with 4 stars. Yeah, actually? I'm knocking it down to 3 stars. It was okay. Definitely not great.

It was VERY crowded. We got on the waitlist and only had to wait 4-5 minutes upon arrival. Our server came right over. I ordered coffee right away. The coffee cup and silverware were all dirty and had to be sent back. We ordered regular breakfast food and I had a lunch item. I had the pecan and chicken salad and a half sandwich. My salad was wonderful (I will get that again). My sandwich wasn't hot, it was messy, and had WAY too much sauce on it. I'm not sure I would get that sandwich again. All it all, it was just ok. I will go back but this may not be on my top 3 places.

Luckily our wait wasn't that long but it was a bit underwhelming. I've been to first watch before in Florida and the differences were vast. We got a special they had going and it was mid to say the least. Iced coffee was mostly milk as well.

I fell in love with First Watch Orlando so I wanted to give the one in my hometown a try. It was super packed today, but I'm glad I joined the waitlist before leaving home. The food was hot and fresh, my only complaint is the million dollar potatoes could've been cooked softer, some of mine and my sister's weren't fully done. The location can seat lots of people which is a plus, our server was good and attentive, I will definitely be back at a less crowded time of day.

Trifecta

The newest breakfast restaurant is now open in Germantown,Tn. After a two hour wait I was finally able to try their breakfast and see what the hype was all about. I was able to get on the waitlist via the app and online. With this location being in a shopping center of course parking was packed but I was able to find a spot. After getting the text message that my table was ready, I was greeted and seated by my waitress. The service was very nice, my waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I order the popular Trifecta, which consisted of a Belgian waffle, eggs and bacon. Of course I had to order the iced honey Carmel crunch coffee. Everything was hot and ready and I didn't have any complaints about my food. I definitely will be going back.

Wicker seats at the bar

This time I checked in on their watchlist which helps with the wait time. You can sign into the waitlist on their app as a guest and once you get there go in and let the hostess know that you are on the waitlist so she can check you in. My wait was about 10 minutes after that. I chose to sit at the bar area this time. It was a little hard for me to get up into the chairs but I'm older and shorter so someone younger and taller might not have that problem. I did notice that other people had the same problem just getting up into the seats, pulling it forward and getting situated but after that they are a comfortable seat better than a stool. The seats are wicker with a back and were of a comfortable size to accommodate a larger person. If you have hip or back issues I would not recommend sitting at the bar. Ladies there is no place to put your purse. The area itself is nice, clean and well attended. I had a wonderful waitress and the atmosphere at the bar was nice and relaxing. My lemon ricotta pancakes were so good and fluffy you don't need syrup. A large glass of cranberry juice (ocean spray) and coffee made for the perfect breakfast. Food so good I could sleep here and wake up in the morning ready to eat breakfast again. Good thing I got a to-go box and coffee.

Great food and service! We ate at the bar after being quoted an hour wait time, which was fine. Our food was fresh and tasted soooooo good! The Million Dollar Potatoes were my favorite

We came here shortly after this location opened for business. So I'm thinking some of these things experienced may be part of that - just being new and figuring things out, growing pains as it were. I don't think any issues we had would be systemic and they should be easily overcome. So, for the issues, such as they were. 1) I listed for the waitlist on the website and got in line, it said to "check in" when I got there. So when I got there there was an employee at the front door with an iPad taking names etc so o checked in. Well I wasn't supposed to check in with her evidently, she told me to check in inside at the next hostess stand. The one with 2 employees not doing anything except bringing people to their tables and actively ignoring anyone else. So I had to be a bit rude and barge in and let them know I had checked in via the website. After that it was maybe a 10 minute wait, not very long especially considering it was quite busy. Issue #2: we were sat along the front in a booth on the east side of the building. In the morning. With table to ceiling (high ceilings too) windows. Windows which had no window treatments of any kind. Is anyone picking up what I'm putting down? In case you aren't - the sun was BLASTING in so that I felt like I was sitting on Alderaan right before, you know..... oh man too soon..... issue 3) one of our crew got "the traditional" breakfast and nothing was really seasoned or anything just kind of blah and meh. Tasted fine and was cooked properly but just..... bland. Oh and 4) they didn't have any of the seasonal fall specialities other First Watch locations have this time of year. Ok so - let's sum up and hit some high points. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and doing a great job and kept our coffees filled. The kitchen was working hard and kept things moving, we didn't have much of a wait for a seat and we didn't have much of a wait for food even though, again as was previously mentioned, they were quite busy on this bright sunny solar radiation blasting through the east facing windows directly through my retinas and into my brain morning. I got the biscuits and turkey sausage gravy with eggs. My gravy was nicely seasoned which kind of contrasted with my table mates unseasoned Traditional. Oh - a definite high point was I upgraded my potatoes to the Million Dollar Potatoes and that was definitely worth the charge. Those were very very good, the parm cream sauce being, in my opinion, the best part of it. So all in all I would return especially as I've been to other locations that had been open longer and had things figured out and I've no doubt my next visit will be a 4 or probably even 5 start visit!!

We were fortunate enough to get reservations for this new First Watch location's soft opening. We were immediately greeted at the door by manager Michael who provided a smile and warm welcome. We were seated at a table where one side was a booth seat, and the other side was a chair. It was in front of a big sign that welcomed us to the Germantown location. Shortly after being seated, our server, Ashley came over and offered us coffee. She served it in the mugs that were sitting on the table and left a carafe full of this tasty coffee so we could self refill with the endless pot. The menu is quite extensive with many options. Ashley suggested that we start with the hardwood smoked bacon and we are so glad that we did! The bacon was sweet, but at the same time it had a slight kick! It was so good! I ordered the Floridian French Toast and my partner ordered the chorizo omelette. My French toast was served with a generous helping a fruit, a top and a lovely display. The kiwi, strawberries, and bananas were a great complement to the challah bread French toast and it was served with a bottle of warm syrup. My partner thoroughly enjoyed his omelet and kale tonic. The kale tonic was such a refreshing drink made with kale, cucumber and apple. The staff checked on us multiple times while we were dining and our main server Ashley was super friendly and attentive! We were both stuffed by the end of our meal and we will definitely be dining here again very soon!

Nasty honey caramel crunch drink. Avoid at all costs.

We got seated in no time at all. Knocking off two stars because they don't have a vanilla/caramel iced coffee. The waitress said they had an iced vanilla crunch coffee and it was absolutely disgusting. It not only had a strong alcohol taste (there wasn't any in it, so maybe the syrup), but between that and it had half a candy bar in it.. Just gross. The Floridian French toast also had unripened kiwi's on it. Mediocre service and bland overpriced food.

Great food. Call ahead seating on a Sunday is the way to go. Unfortunately on a Sunday it probably took a good 45 minutes to get our food.

Now for the coffee... Their Moqana Latte is a beautifully made. It's rare to find a signature latte that is rich in flavor without being overbearingly sweet. It allows the quality of the espresso to actually shine through. Plus, the latte art was a nice touch. It's almost a shame to take that first sip, but the flavor makes it worth every bit. And then, there's their Pistachio Cake. I believe they bake it in-house. I was expecting a decent slice but this was moist, with a decadent consistency reminiscent of a tres leches cake. It's light yet indulgent, and easily one of the best desserts I've had in the area recently. Their service is great. They're open late, a plus for the night shift people. The atmosphere is charming and the quality is consistent. Looking forward for my next latte.

Snowa ("With Snow") Bakery and Cafe is a Korean bakery and cafe located in Germantown…read more There's plenty of parking, as it's a private lot shared with other businesses. Upon entering, you'll find about twelve tables in the dining area and a water station to the left. On the far right, there's a ramen station where you can make your own ramen and enjoy it on-site -- similar to the convenience stores found in Korea. The bakery section is on the far left near the register, offering around ten different freshly baked treats. FOOD: Bulgogi Kimbap (4/5): There are three kimbap options -- bulgogi, tuna, or veggie. It's cooked rice with various fillings (carrots, pickled radish, spinach, eggs), rolled in dried seaweed, and sliced into bite-sized pieces. Unlike sushi, the rice is seasoned with sesame oil and salt. You really can't go wrong with this classic. Tonkatsu (Fried Pork Cutlet, 4/5): Breaded and deep-fried until golden and crisp, this dish comes in a generous portion. I had to take half home for dinner. It's classically served with rice and shredded cabbage salad with a creamy sesame dressing. There was a good amount of kimchi and yellow pickled radish on the side. Green Tea Bing Su (4/5): Perfectly refreshing for hot Memphis summers, this Korean shaved ice dessert is topped with sweetened red beans, almond slices, and green tea ice cream. It's light, sweet, and satisfying. Dalgona Coffee (3/5): Dalgona is a crunchy honeycomb toffee with a caramelized flavor (as seen in Squid Game). The large dalgona pieces on top slowly melt into the coffee. A bit too sweet for my taste, but it was fun to try. The service is mostly self-serve after your food is brought to the table, with a water and utensil station available near the entrance. Would I come back? Absolutely!
