My wife and I along with another couple went to First Watch today, Sunday June 8 2025. We love coming here as we have done several times. We all had a wonderful breakfast. One thing we saw today leads us to think that there needs to be a dress code to get in, and I am sure a lot of other patrons that day feel the same. There was a woman there today with a shirt on that was gapped open in the front and half her breast were hanging out. If she leaned over they would have fallen out! So, I've been coming to this location since it opened. My husband and I were the first customers to this particular restaurant. The food used to be California type breakfast/lunch: read, avocado toast and healthy sounding meals with an upscale feel. It is a chain, so you'll get the same menu at every location. I liked coming here, especially for the farmhouse skillet, chia seed pudding, lemon ricotta pancakes, maybe try a seasonal thing. It's gone to shit. Every visit to this restaurant is worse than the last. I don't get the farmhouse skillet anymore because sometimes the potatoes aren't fully cooked and I hate that. The lemon ricotta pancake was still good. But today I got served this. It's a ham and Gruyère omelette. Folks, this is lunch meat slid into an egg pocket. They didn't even bother to try to cut that shit up. It's just lunch meat hanging out the side of the omelette. Then they melted a slice of cheese on top. It's supposed to have fresh herbs on it? I mentioned this to my waiter (Adrian?) and he said that the kitchen told him this is how it's supposed to be. That's not what the menu says at all. The potatoes were horrific. Burned and not cooked at the same time. I realized, I hate it here now. And while we're talking about what I hate, cut the toast in triangles, not in half like a savage. Big sad. read more

Waited for about 30/45 minutes to get a table when we were originally told 20/25 minutes. Our friend checked with the hostess and was informed that "other people making reservations online get bumped ahead of others that are currently here waiting, even after our name has been on the waitlist." Doesn't make sense that people can make a reservation online after people have put their name on the waitlist in person and we get bumped. Ended up leaving to go elsewhere. read more

I've been eyeballing this place for the last year, but never stopped in. Well, today was the day! Very friendly staff, but a little slow on the seating and checkout. After reviewing my menu options, I landed on the breakfast tacos , an order of Million Dollar Bacon, and a glass of cold brew. The bacon was awesome! Perfectly cooked with a drizzle of maple syrup, some brown sugar melted in, and a few red pepper flakes for heat. The breakky tacos were tasty too. Fluffy eggs, cheese & good tortillas. Boyfriend ordered breakfast for us 2/15/25; first and last time, ever. About 1/4 of his potatoes were raw. My fruit cup was possibly cross contaminated from his potatoes, because my fruit smelled and tasted like straight up onions. My biscuits and gravy tasted so bland and artificial. Anytime I go I get treated very nicely! I love the options they have for food, I think they have the perfect variety for breakfast/brunch place. I always find it clean and not too hectic in there. I called before placing the order to forewarn about celiacs disease/strong gluten allergy and asked if it was possible to get gluten free toast with all orders before I placed it. They confirmed they could. I called right after I placed the order to let them know it went through and to please make whole order gf. They asked "do you need both orders gluten free? I said yes, the entire order gf because I am allergic and want to be safe." Order comes and I eat it feeling safe because the bag said gluten allergy as well. I eat my food and start eating the side of "gluten-free bread" I got extra and then my friend with the other order noticed the side "looks a little different that it has oat on the crust" We call and ask and the person checked and said the person that prepared the food included the gluten bread in it just in case.... So I ate gluten having celiacs disease. Now I'm sick I threw up and will have to pay for this for probably months after having just had surgery. Worst part is... I talked to the manager told him everything and was not mean about it. Was a little out of breath from throwing up... he said well nothing we can do- take it up with door dash... it was the restaurants fault! That's all he could say... didn't sound empathetic... literally nothing. After I will have to pay for this for months and after I did everything possible to make sure they knew to be safe. Couldn't have done more.... Worst manager ever! For the owner of this franchise I hope you don't overlook this because if this is how the MANAGER treats food allergies and mistakes on their end, I can't imagine he runs this location well. I will not stop until I recover finding ways to make sure people are aware of how unprofessional, cold, and horrible this location of this restaurant is. I will write reviews anywhere I can and in all of the gluten free places I can find as well. People should know how they treat people that have celiacs disease. He made it seem like I was annoying for being allergic. It's not like I enjoy being allergic to something. Oh! And the avo toast is crap- it had one piece of toast only and old brown avocado on top. I've been to quiet a few First Watch locations between Texas and Florida. This location is by far my favorite. While First Watch has a specific aesthetic, it is the perfect mashup of Georgetown's local pride. The food was very fresh, colorful and had amazing taste, consistent with First Watch. read more

Alot of customers with dogs so I'm unsure if it's a dog friendly environment but that's what I got from it -Service was great food came out pretty fast -long list of items to choose from I didn't know where to begin! Lol -Orange juice was fresh! -FREE wifi Cons- So I'm only giving 4 stars because I personally didn't care for the food. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience at any First Watch location. On this particular visit I tried the new Tangerine Dream juice w a boost shot of the vitamins. It was delicious and a refreshing way to start the meal. Not as tart as orange juice or as acidic so a nice juice choice for those who can't drink straight OJ. I also tried outside of my usual and went with the Chickichanga. Not my favorite thing but again not bad at all. Nice flavors, sauce has a bit of a tang to it w a light bite. Didn't leave me feeling stuffed and I was able to eat the whole thing. Items I've also tried and loved are the biscuits & gravy, the granola or açaí bowls, the farmhouse hash, any of the griddle options for pancakes, French toast, Belgian waffle. Met some friends here early on Saturday and I can honestly say, if I had never been to First Watch before, I would never go back. Overall a disappointing experience from the host to the food. First, they weren't seating any of the outside tables which meant one friend had to decline joining us. Fine, i get it, maybe they were short staffed, but it didn't get any better from there. We arrived before the usual rush, put our name on the list and sat down to catch up while we waited. We were advised it would be about 30-40 min. That passed and we started seeing people who arrived after us seated. Went to the host who said they didnt have us on the list. We had to reply to the text message they sent. 1) that message did not request a reply 2) we got the text so you should have us on the list, right? Anyway, we were told we'd be put on and seated next. Still another group gets seated. Asked again and the host looks at me like she's never seen me before. Finally get seated, ordered food and got some coffee. My food comes out ice cold. Pancake was way overcooked on the bottom, and while they did replace it, cold eggs are just not cool, but we were so hungry by this point, I just ate it. Between having to flag down the server, the cold food and the long wait, I was grateful the company was delightful. read more

We don't know where to go for a good breakfast... so we tried this place and we'll it was good it's just not a good fit for a regular breakfast spot for us. The food good nice and clean great service. But we literally had to ask for them to rebook our eggs twice. I ordered mine over easy and it kept coming out over cooked no runny yolk at all. Same with my wife's. I can tell the server was getting frustrated with us. The manager finally came over and asked what the issue was. We showed her our eggs and she was so apologetic for the over cooked eggs. Third time they came out good. By them our breakfast was cold. Like I said the service was great manager coming up checking and making sure we were happy but that was it. Only thing I would go back for would be the pancake it was great.
