Plenty of different vegetables for sides and everyone satisfied. Not particularly stuffed, which isn't a bad thing. The location didn't seem conducive to big parties and even finding seating for our group of six seemed intrusive to the flow in the restaurant. Grace, our server, did a fantastic job of greeting our table, ensuring that we were well informed about the specials, and also ensured that we didn't miss the opportunity to order some happy hour drinks and appetizers before 6 o'clock rolled around. The only things that I would change would be having accommodations to suit larger parties, and possibly offering some specials that weren't just derivatives of menu items, but were truly special items. Verdict: Go check it out... multiple times. The value of the food and service combine for a well-rounded dining experience.

Tonight we celebrated our (slightly late) Valentine's dinner, my husband Rick Reid's birthday, and our 5th anniversary -- because apparently we like to pack all our biggest celebrations into the shortest month of the year. Our server, Lauren, was exceptional. Her energy and enthusiasm perfectly matched the atmosphere and the fantastic meal. Rick has known Morris, the owner and chef, for many years, and it's been such a joy watching this place continue to thrive. If you haven't been to Bistecca, put it on your must-try list. You won't regret it!
