So disappointed. Called to place a to-go order using brunch buck from a mishap with my to-go order at another location. I thought if I used them closer to where I work they will get my order right. Nope the order was incomplete. I should've went with my first mind and checked the order before I left. But I thought for sure after speaking with manager and explaining my issues from the last store, it would be better this time. I even had him repeat what was on the elevated sandwich and it was still missing bacon and half of the avocado spread. Like they give me a quarter of a teaspoon. The potatoes weren't even included in the order. I shouldn't have to dine in to make my order is correct. Did we not practice when the world was shut down? read more

Ok, normally I love First Watch but this time they did POORLY. We got the Muffin Top Pancakes, which I've gotten ever time I've been there, but time they turned out HORRIBLE. I can't even scrape it off. I'm so sad, and we live far enough away that we can't go back today. And what's worse is that I can taste they are burnt. UGH!! read more

Two words: Avocado Toast. Just try it. We each ordered our own meals, but I saw that avocado toast as an option so believe it or not there were only two of us at the table but we ordered 3 entrees - haha. It was worth it. The avocado toast is freshly prepared with just the right amount of lime and cilantro it's literally a mouth explosion waiting to happen. It did take awhile for the food to come out - but once we tasted how fresh and light everything was - we understood. And correct me if i'm wrong but their butter was so good i think it was home churned? Don't quote me on that part but its really good as well. Im telling you this review should have went more like this: Bla bla bla THE AVOCADO TOAST bla TOAST WITH AVOCADO bla TRY IT. Xo. read more

We really tried to justify how to get to 3 stars but we couldn't. Place is clean, basic, breakfast corner, strip mall chain and has premium price w less than IHOP service and taste. They do add a little parsley or something green on top.... so for presentation I give 2 stars. 2/5 Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. Ice cold eggs but they were runny so 2 stars. Hard purple skin from onion as garnish. I couldn't chew it. Hash browns were cold. 2/5 Ham eggs Benedict, everything was cold. Hash browns and eggs were cold but they were runny so 2 stars. 2/5 Coffee was cold. Pot was 1/4 filled. The individual creamers were hard to open. You know how they sit in stagnant water and the foil tops glue themselves shut? 1/5 Service at 9:30am was subpar. Maybe 5 tables occupied and there were at least 4 waiters. Disappointing. We wanted this to be better. My "One thing" rule still applies. If you are a breakfast place do it really well. I'm sorry to be harsh sounding but....I have eaten at other locations and it was so much better. I inform the managers almost each time (not today) hoping they can increase consistency. There are now 4 other breakfast places within 2 miles that are much better. This was our go to breakfast place. They did a great job 2 years ago but last 1 1/2 years has disappointed us. Hope they figure it out. read more

I can't give any stars for this but one because how do you order a biscuits and gravy plate and forget to put the sausage gravy on it. Ordered a side of bacon and they forgot that also. I'll order from seven mile next time. Biscuits are better. read more

Had lunch and not a thing to criticize! The Menu had a lot to offer everything from breakfast to lunch including salads etc. The decor of this place is very quaint and attractive. I was greeted immediately upon arrival and waited for my accompanying party. we enjoyed the Kale tonic (so yummy) a Rustico frittata with Italian sausage and the chicken salad melt. Everything was amazing! We both really enjoyed the side salads and their lemon vinaigrette was super yummy. The waiter was more than willing to accommodate my dietary requests. Can't wait to return and try some other items. (Skillet potatoes and award willing bacon!!) Alps loved that they have an interactive nutrition site whereas you can modify the dish to confirm exactly what your dishes nutrition profile is! AMAZING! Checkbithttps://www.firstwatch.com/menu/omelettes/frittata-rustica I've been here many times now and continue to be faced with a wait every time meanwhile more than 4 akd 5 tables sit empty. Last time I confirmed they were understaffed but it was during the holiday season so I presumed it was a one time- this time I can't assume the same. They either need to step up tie or efficiency game or expand/relocate but this will likely be out last visit. read more

I tried First Watch for the first time this past weekend. The service is kind and efficient. We both ordered the Trifecta with the banana granola pancake and it was amazing! The food being served to the table next to us looked incredible too (couldn't help but look). Each table gets a full pot of coffee. What is even better: it is amazing coffee. We love First Watch and are already planning our next breakfast date. read more

First things first, the service at any location I've ever been to has been amazing. Every staff member I've ever been served by has been personable and easy going. Secondly, the food! First watch is ALWAYS a delicious place with amazing juices and the best granola pancakes I've ever had. I love coming here with my Mom and can't wait to bring my Fiancé along next time! Thanks First Watch! read more

I had brunch at this location for the first time and the ambiance was nice. Service was quite slow, but food was delish. One thing I would point out is the fact of when coffee was being served, the server held the cup around the top where mouths drink from. I had to bring this up just in case it was done to someone else. read more

I've given it a few tries. The last time the kitchen sent out the toast for my meal beyond burnt. It was charred and a solid rock with a pitiful spread of almond butter. I pointed it out to the waiter. I said that the manager may want to see this and he said "the kitchen probably thought you wanted it that way". No I didn't order it well done or burnt. I just ordered the meal as is. Dishes pretty dirty. Waiter had an excuse for that too. Just felt like a nuisance the whole time. Million dollar bacon was good but I don't think we will go back read more

The food is great. Hence, why we wanted to return to this location. But the seating service is terrible. Online there is an option to put your name on the waiting list. However, it is not accurate. We put our name on the list twenty minutes prior to arriving in the restaurant. Total wait would it have been 20-30 minutes.. since our name's were on the list, it should have been 10 minutes tops for waiting.. we arrived and front server tells us: 45 minutes waiting. How does this makes any sense? It doesn't. We left without been seated this time. Possibly the last time for this location for us. read more

Came here again in a week and it's my new favorite breakfast joint! This time I tried the avocado toast and million $ bacon. Both were very tasty. Great service! Food came out so fast! And it tasted good. Super friendly casual great breakfast. Satisfying. Will be returning!!!!

Very good option for an American style breakfast. Highly recommend the avocado toast which usually has a generous portion of avocado on it. Eggs are done to order and service is polite and friendly. read more

We visited the Flower Mound location Sunday for brunch. The wait was a little long but nothing out of the norm. Our waitress was fantastic. She was slammed, but made sure to let us know, and she took great care of us. I had the chickichanga and it was out of this world. I left NOTHING on my plate. We will definitely return. They also have a great selection of juices. I had the Morning Meditation and it was great. read more

They had me at the Kale Tonic! I love, Love, LOVE this place, especially this drink. They specialize in heathy alternatives, but everything is soooo delicious. If I could afford it, I would stop by for a Kale Tonic every day! Let's not mention the elevated egg sandwich or the million dollar bacon (it doesn't cost that much). I had to cut back on coming, because it was killing my budget. Love this place, I'll be back! read more

Not really sure how a franchise can jack up a breakfast order... Flower Mound Location said "hold my beer" I order a traditional breakfast online. The prep time was thirty minutes... good I'm 10 minutes away. I'll take my time to get there. Stopped to get gas... I arrived and the food was not ready. Okay. 30 additional minutes later, I get a text string my order was ready. When I arrived back at home... the only thing hot were my cheese grits.... which in theory should have been cold in comparison It's a good restaurant... but this was the pits. I'll try again later. read more

It seems I have a similar complaint about the Flower Mound First Watch as do other former patrons. It's been a few months since I had the displeasure of dining at this First Watch for the last time so I won't go into a lot of detail. Potential customers of this place should know that their smoothies are good but full of sugar. Their food the first time I went on a weekday was good as well. The problems started and ended on the 2nd and final visit. The problems centered around service or more importantly around how the greeter/cashier and the manager dealt with a customer that was mildly frustrated turning that customer into a "never again". We had a couple of issues with cold food that took a very long time to come out. They were busy at the time so I understand the time but to send out a side of bacon that was cold and literally has a layer of white congealed grease stuck to the bacon and the plate was worthy of bringing to someone's attention along with a few other minor problems as well. It took an extraordinarily long time to check out and when I let the very young lady know about my issues, I was met with a smarmy "OK thank you" as she turned around and started doing something else. I grew up in the restaurant business and that girl is too stupid or arrogant to be doing what she's being overpaid to do. I asked for the manager and an assistant came to the front after the girl gave him her side of the story and that person was rude as well, so I left after requesting the corporate office phone number and being given the restaurant's number instead. I called the restaurant a couple of days later to speak with the General Manager and discovered the attitude comes from the top, as he was unwilling to give me the corporate office number either. So I looked up their corporate phone number online and left a long voicemail with their system and traded calls with someone from that office for about a week, but never connected. I finally gave up, because that place isn't worth my time or anyone else's for that kind of runaround. The Flower Mound First Watch location obviously has a lot of service issues as evidenced by many similar reviews to this one. There are way too many good brunch restaurants in the Flower Mound area to put up with children that don't have the first clue about customer service. Do yourself a favor, take your Mom somewhere else on Mother's day that doesn't suck. read more

Looooove this venue for brunch. There is a small patio area where you can bring your pup. Food is delish and very good customer service. Definitely on our list to frequent. read more

It's a super cute place... Love the decor with lots of natural woods in a bit of a modern farmhouse feel. We have very hungry kids, and The kids meals didn't look like it would be enough to feed them so they had to order adult meals except for one, and she was a little disappointed with the pancake options. She doesn't like chocolate and the only fun kid pancake was chocolate chip. It would've been great if they had blueberry but the pancake was huge so she was satisfied with the size. My husband got the trifecta. It was in a box up at the top right corner of the menu, drawing attention like it was a signature item, which made him think it would be a big hardy plate. Luckily I ordered an omelette because he had to eat his entire meal plus half of mine. My omelette was definitely a good size portion for me... More than enough luckily. The kids had the chickichanga, and they were also satisfied. So the food was tasty. I will say that my omelette only had the green peppers and avocado in the very center of the omelette. All of the edges of the omelette were just egg, so I pretty much ate out the middle only. taste wise and ambience wise everything was good. Portion wise we weren't completely satisfied but we will definitely give it another try. read more

They are busyyyyy on Sunday but no worried they can get you in and out quick! I came in at 11:30ish and was seated promptly. Ordered farmhouse skillet breakfast came with potato's, bacon, peppers, and an egg on too. It was so good, the potatoes were slightly burned on bottom making them crunchy. That was my favorite part. Their juices are also delish! I got their roast beef sandwich to go and it was also delish, outside was crusted with cheese. And there is a generous portion of roast beef inside read more

2 dollars for one piece of toast! I asked for a side of toast. I was given a choice of sourdough or multigrain. I said multigrain. This particular day it took a while to get our food but when it arrived there was no toast. I waited patiently and had to remind my waiter that I hadn't got my toast. Finally it arrived, one piece of buttered multigrain toast cut in half. When I got the bill, I noticed I was charged 1.99 for the toast. I found out that if I had ordered sourdough, I would have gotten 2 pieces. I should have been told this when I was given the option of toast. Please understand that I like First Watch and have been here many times. Additionally, my wife likes Splenda, but the place only has stevia and raw sugar. I had never noticed this because I take my coffee black. read more

Although I finished my plate because it was okay, I'm leaving a 3 star because it REALLY could better. The service: At first glance the atmosphere is very nice and light. When I sat down I was promptly asked if I wanted coffee because she had it in hand (which is awesome) and I got my order taken down because I knew what I wanted. The waitress then left and about 10mins in I noticed I never got or was ask if I wanted some water or anything else. No biggie, I'll wait, I'm sure that she'll come back around. Nope. I had to flag another waitress down for some water while I watch her and another waitress talk at the stand for another 5-10mins. The only other time that my waitress came was to give me my food and my check. So basically a total of 4 interactions. She didn't check up on me, or anything else. I expect a lot more from a place that's in highland village. The food: I got the Salmon Benny. I LOVE bennies, and it sounds very nice and light. I will always always always come back to a place that serves great bennies. This is not going to be one of those places. The salmon Benny was COVERED in very thick slices of onions that made it extremely unpleasant to eat. I had a salad so I had to toss some of the onions to the salad instead. It was served on a thick panini type of bun? And the hollandaise was very underwhelming, lack that punch of zesty and also needed more salt. I left wanting more from the Benny. Overall - service was not good - food HAS potential but could really use some more thought. read more
