3rd times a charm! My kids and I love coming to breakfast here! This was our 3rd visit and it's officially been confirmed that we are in love with this place and I have reeeeally picky eaters! Not only is their food amazing though, but their staff is so friendly and welcoming that's always something that stands out to me as well and they've got an amazing staff that actually looks happy that they are at work! This was our first visit for the summer so the new summer menu was a nice surprise and lovely surprise! I HAD to order off of it! For this visit I ordered the 'Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash' with a 'Cold Brew Coffee' ....this girl....was in heaven! Not only did they blow my socks off with having a hash with my all time favorite elote mixed in, their cold brew coffee was the icing on the cake. I'm a sucker for a cold brew and I can honestly say they nailed it! Watch out Starbucks! But the Elote hash was the most unique hash I've ever had! It has An amazing chipotle crema that I would totally be okay with just having that by it self! Mmmm it was so good, and it's served with 2 corn tortillas so you can make breakfast tacos !!! Wooo! Y'all stole this girls heart with this new summer item! I'm in love. My baby girl ordered her go-to which is the chocolate chip pancakes, w/bacon and a side order of eggs. Super yummy, and the only reason why she had left overs is bc she may of just been a little too full from her hot chocolate that she devoured! My daughter and I were walking by and decided to stop in. This place is awesome! The food is great, decently priced and the atmosphere is really nice for brunch. I got the Eggs Benedict (with salmon) and she got the kids bacon and eggs. We'll be coming back for sure! read more

as a party of 2 i checked in online around 11:30, currently it is 1 and i was seated and given drinks but the service is awful! I have yet to see any food, while others who showed up after us are eating.....not super impressed this time. read more

I went for lunch today with co-workers and we arrived at noon. There was a small lunch rush as expected. After placing our orders our server informed us that the kitchen was behind a few minutes and to let us know there would be a wait. After 30 minutes we were checked on but no promise of food. After one hour we were told it would probably be longer than we were able to wait because we had mentioned we needed to get back to work. We left the restaurant and drove through a fast food place and took it back to work. They offer online check-in which is awesome. Food was a bit slow and cold but they were busy. Now the only reason I didn't give them 4 stars was because the coffee was horrible. Food was great, but not a good place for larger parties on a Sunday morning. It took about 30 mins to seat us and about an hour between the time we ordered the food and the time it came out - so just a little long for a brunch with 8 people and a baby! Our specific situation: The online check in system works great, but for parties of 7+ it directs you to call the restaurant. I called and was told the only way to get in line was through the online system, so go ahead and pick 6 people and the person I was talking with would inform the hostess desk we had 8 people. We show up, wait for our table and then are seated at a booth that holds 6 people. Since we can't physically fit 8 people in the 6 person booth we inform them again that we have 8 people and that we can't fit. The hostess was extremely rude about the situation in front if other guests and the other hostess who was having to deal with finding us a table. I understand there was some confusion and happy to move past it, but the rude attitude was uncalled for especially since I called and spoke with someone who assured me they could accommodate us. Anyway....the other hostess took over politely and they found us a table about 5 mins later and we sat down with a nice waitress. The rude hostess was later pleasant to us, we ate really good food and went about our day so I guess it all worked out. They probably should just improve their method for dealing with larger parties by communicating to guests who call or online that the restaurant is not setup to handle them efficiently. (Which is probably why they don't let you check in online - note to self!) We had the avocado toast, the million dollar bacon, broccoli cheese soup and salad, pork carnitas burrito, egg sandwich and chocolate chip pancakes. The burrito was amazing! Everything was really well done and we would definitely come back with a smaller party. read more

Good we would give a solid 4 stars. The service is soooo slow. We understand waiting to be seated but 41 minutes to get a salad and a sandwich. My tea ran out so instead needed to share my wife's water instead. The waiter was confused with bringing drinks to wrong tables. The poor bus boy was the hardest working guy in the restaurant and needs a raise. We wanted to like the place and wanted to have a new place to go for breakfast and brunch but I doubt we will be back unless we are stuck in the area. read more

I haven't LOVED going to breakfast in a while but this place was really awesome!! First of all it's convenient so that's a plus for me but because it's such a great place, you will be happy you traveled to dine here. We started with a juicy drink... it was one of those healthy "green" drinks and I was afraid of it but my server said it was her favorite and told me to trust her. I am glad I did as it was absolutely delicious and didn't taste like kale at all. Very pleased. My daughter got the other special juice drink and was equally happy with it and it was made with beet juice. I know it doesn't sound fabulous but let me tell you it was. I had to try the lemon curd pancakes and they were so yummy I can't even put a word with it. Very rich and don't know if I would personally get them again but I would recommend them for sure. I had stomach surgery and sometimes things are too rich for me so they hurt my tummy but it was worth it this time. My daughter got a benedict and was a bit disappointed in the hollandaise sauce. Hollandaise is pretty tricky and they just didn't hit the nail on the head. It was good, don't get me wrong, she ate every last drop, but we have had eggs benedict all over the country and know a great hollandaise when we see/taste it. The customer service is ALWAYS excellent. I haven't actually dined in but I've done takeout a few times (today being the third). I'm obsessed with the turkey burger but always request that it be made into a salad instead (everything on the menu except no bun, cheese or mayo). We had a bit of a mixup today with my order - it only came with a sliced turkey burger and lettuce but was missing the pico de gallo and avocado. In my little sleep delirium, I called back and asked if I could swing by for the avocado and pico. I don't know the gentleman's name but he made an entirely new/fresh order that included all of the ingredients that were missing (even after I insisted it was unnecessary). I love this place. The server I had today, I think his name was Roy, was so happy and friendly and my breakfast was delicious! Definitely get the Croque Madame! It's huge and so good! What a sad experience, my wife and i were in @ 7:30 am only about 3 tables occupied. We ordered iced coffee with cream, waitress did not bring the cream she said she would be right back with it, cream was a no show, after 5 minutes went looking for her she was nowhere to be found. Finley she emerged from the back and poured cream in a small container and handed it to me. Finley could have some coffee, we ordered our meals, scrambled eggs, toast, and fruit, and a smoked salmon Benedict. well we asked for salt, none was brought and while we waited the eggs got cold. next thing that was wrong is that the poached had hard yokes I asked for them to be redone, when i got them back same issue hard yokes, I ate them anyway as my wife was done with her meal. I ordered the trifecta- eggs over easy, turkey sausage and carrot cake multigrain pancake! Hold the syrup on the pancake if you want a pancake lightly sweetened and full of flavor. I love First Watch, when they showed up in Knoxville, it was the only place I went for breakfast. So, naturally, I was very excited to find them in Denton county! Sadly, the service and Kitchen are awful. Simple things; Glass of ice water...never came. Instead I got a jug of tap water with no ice. Ordered breakfast potatoes, got a bowl of onions with a few potatoes in it them. Ordered 4 eggs...got two burned ones. Asked for my other two...also burned. Waitress never bothered to ask how things were or check on the table. She did, however, want to argue about how many eggs I ordered.
