Morning meditation (fresh juice blend)
Celia P.

First time here decided to swing in after work and give it a tray. Is laid back and welcoming. Staff is friendly and the dining area is spacious as well as they have a few tables outside on the patio you can eat at if you like to eat outside. The food was fresh and simple with good flavors. I will be back again to try the lemon ricotta pancakes.

The only positive thing about this place was the waitress. She was very friendly. That's why 2 star and not one. This was an very bad first experience. I won't go back. The tangerine dream drink was really good. I never tasted the food. I asked for my skillet to have scrambled eggs (since you know they are always cooked right) and no cheese. I got it with sunny side up eggs and cheese. The food was slow to come out also. I asked for the manager to come out and speak to me. His response I was told was that he was busy and would come out if there was time. Very poor attitude. They remade it, however the scrambled eggs were watery in many spots. I tried to remove those spots than decided that was too much work for the money I was spending. The manager never came out. Clearly he didn't care. I left without eating and the waitress said they would take care of the check. I did offered to pay for the drink. She said no need. I went to McDonald's instead.

Recently visited First Watch for the first time in a few years. I ordered avocado toast with two eggs and a vanilla iced coffee. It wasn't my favorite but it wasn't too bad. They weren't very busy so I couldn't understand why our server wasn't very attentive to us. She was very nice and pleasant when she was around maybe she was new. I would be willing to give it another try. I know we are in a pandemic and these restaurants are under a lot of stress and have to work under different t conditions so I try to give them the benefit of the doubt so that's why I am giving them a four.

Healthy Turkey omelette with gluten free toast

Excellent place for brunch! Ate Bacado omelet today and it was delicious. Good ratio of eggs to filling. Potatoes were good but a little spicy which I wasn't expecting. Everything was freshly prepared and hot. Staff was wonderful! I recommend this omelet but next time will get fruit or salad greens instead of potatoes. Also delicious was the fruit spread that came with the gluten free bread. It's nice to eat at a really good breakfast and brunch restaurant where gluten free bread is offered.

Baja chicken burrito bowl

The kind of place where you chug a whole carafe of Columbian coffee by yourself and walk away satisfied. Almost stereotypical in terms of being a trendy breakfast place, but everything was great. We'll go back. Must-Try: - Blue Booster juice - Orange Juice - Coffee - Pancakes (kid's choc chip pancakes great) Not missing out: N/A Menu somewhat predictable but everything sounded good and we struggled picking. Prices slightly higher, but relative to similar places, very reasonable. Baja chicken burrito bowl with juicy chicken, hearty grains and bright kale slaw. Seasoned beans and lime crema perhaps lackluster. Farmhouse hash well made. Most pieces had good color, some pieces were too charred.

Just got take-out from here. Ordered the tri-fecta and they forgot the maple syrup. Come on, how do you eat waffles without maple syrup.

I love walking up Lock 29 to grab a drink to take along with me on my walks! Their parking lot is extremely difficult to deal with if there's some cars there, so I recommend parking down by all the shops & walking up! Easy access on the sidewalk, or you can cut off the trail like I do to get up there. It's worth the hassle!

A coffee shop that I can easily visit between hikes in a national park? Heck yes!…read more I stopped by the Peninsula Coffee House and Market during a weekend trip to Cuyahoga Valley National Park this year. I was lucky and snagged a parking space in front of the business; their parking is VERY limited and I'm surprised I didn't have to use a lot that was across a bridge. (Note that the bridge is right by the coffee shop, so it wouldn't have been a long trek at all.) I ordered a Butterscotch Latte and a Sausage, Biscuit & Egg breakfast sandwich; snagged a seat near the front of the store; and settled in for a relaxing break between my hikes. The coffee was excellent and the sandwich really hit the spot! While seating in the lower level is limited, I've learned reading other reviews that there is an outdoor patio and an upper level too. Their website mentions that they run a sundry market here too; however I didn't spend much time shopping in the interest of not stretching my wallet too far during my travels. I also didn't check out the wine cellar in the lower level. While this shop is little, it clearly has a lot to offer, and I am so glad I found it during my visit to Cuyahoga. I'd absolutely stop by again during future visits to the area...and I'd love to time my next visit so I can check out that wine cellar!

Parma Heights is so far, guys. So so far... So after fangirling over the lush, girly decor and taking ALL the pictures ever, my 5 friends and I ordered at the counter a bougie drink and a plate of food each. There's abundant seating in this two story cafe so we found a table and waited between 5 and 10 minutes for it all to be ready. Despite my goal to stop spending money on beverages, I spent $8 on a regular sized iced decaf carrot cake latte with almond milk. Delicious and definitely instagrammable, but RIP to my money. I regret not taking the lovely glass it was served to me in, but my conscious kicked in and I didn't pilfer it. Haha! For dinner, I originally wanted to get a pizza but changed my mind last minute due to it being 90 degrees outside. So instead, I got an italian panini with a side of potato chips ($14). I don't like mayo so asked that be taken off. The only sauces they have are mayo, hot sauce, and horseradish mayo. I got the horseradish mayo on the side, but didn't really use it. I hope they can add mustard and ketchup to their sauce lineup in the future. All in all, I spent about $24. All 6 of us had very instagramable food and drinks. They looked better than they tasted for the most part. I liked my drink and panini but didn't love it, especially for the price. My friends lavender lemon loaf was gorgeous, but sadly dry. I love the look, like the menu, and wish Cafe Blanc wasn't so outrageously far away! I'd love to get brunch here with my gal pals! I wanna get one of their dessert crepes, please and thank you! I am giving Cafe Blanc 4.5 stars out of 5.

I had seen pictures of their dreamy spiral staircase, the impossibly chic rope benches, the cream palette with splashes of greenery and in person it all looked even better! The style was real, not too much, not tacky, just gorgeous. Their drinks were the star in my opinion! I got something of their seasonal menu--white rose refresher with sparkling water, not Redbull, thanks. Rose syrup at the bottom, splash of coconut milk and topped with a rock candy!!! So good and refreshing. It was $7 but the size was palpable too. Their food was not my favorite though. I got a ham and cheese croissant and it was the breadiest, least flaky croissant I've ever had. Not buttery, not light and not worth the $11! Their sandwiches looked pretty thin and dry as well. I think I would try a salad next time as that looked pretty good. There was parking and the building itself was chic and pretty too. Will be coming back!

We made a reservation via email and the staff were quick to respond. The menu isn't large and tea choices were more limited than other tea rooms I've been to. I chose the mint tea and my friend got the chamomile. We each received our own small tea pot that had its own chamber inside to steep the tea. The pots weren't decorative but they got the job done well and I liked that I didn't have to strain the tea myself. We were allowed to pick out our own teacup and saucer. For lunch, I tried the broccoli salad with potato soup and herbed bread. My friend got the broccoli cheese quiche and soup. My salad didn't have much dressing on it - I would have preferred more but I believe it was a premade salad. The soup was ok as well. She said her quiche was tasty. Unfortunately I forgot to grab pictures. I would rate the food 3/5 but the tea a 5/5. Overall, I think the tea house is a nice option considering there aren't many in the area and I'd try it again.
