Turkey sausage, scramble eggs, wheat toast and potatoes

Both of the locations stated Weems Road but I'm leaving a review for Wright Road in Columbus GA. The food was decent. Went on a Saturday with friend. The wait time was about 45min which was to be expected on a Saturday but it doesn't excuse the food coming out lukewarm. Our server was kind and the restaurant looks aesthetically pleasing. However, I wouldn't go back again due to the food being mediocre.

Blueberry Lemon Cornbread & Farmhouse Hash

Yummmmm! Food was so delicious. I got the blueberry lemon cornbread started and the Farmhouse Hash. Good sized portions, friendly service, nice interior of the restaurant. Luckily I sat before several large military graduate families came through the door so my service didn't take long at all.

A lovely place for breakfast and a meal in the Columbus area First Watch is a popular restaurant chain that specializes in breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. It was founded in 1983 in Pacific Grove, California, and has since expanded its presence across the United States. Today, it boasts a considerable number of locations, with over 400 restaurants spread across the country. This allows customers to find a First Watch whether they're in a bustling city or a suburban neighborhood. I have visited at least 7 locations in 3 states. One of the standout features of First Watch is its focus on health-conscious options and clean, fresh looking stores. The menu includes a variety of nutritious choices, such as egg-white omelets, fresh fruit bowls, and whole-grain pancakes just to name a few while also sporting some of my regular favorites like waffles, french toast, and pancakes. This particular location is at the corner of Whittlesey Blvd and Weems Road. The store was easy to get to and there seemed to be plenty of parking. Inside it has light colors and a mix of booths and tables for diners. The restaurant was very clean both inside and out. We were seated quickly. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient. The menu was consistent with others restaurants in the chain. I ordered the oatmeal which came with fruit, milk, sugar and a muffin. The food came out quickly and was delicious. Overall, it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend for anyone visiting the Hixson area and wanting great food, in a nice place with awesome service.

"While in the South, do as the Southerners do." I'm not sure who first said that (possibly no one), but I'm applying that logic while on this trip to Georgia. Therefore, it seems only logical that this philosophy lead me to the doorstep of my first encounter with the famed "Shrimp and Grits" experience. While we have greatly enjoyed meals at "First Watch" when visiting Colorado, we certainly didn't expect to find another location here in Columbus (nor could we have predicted that this is where my introduction to shrimp and grits would take place). Admittedly my ignorance of "the grit" fostered some anxiety within me, but I bravely soldiered on beneath the banner of adventure. (In truth that "bravery" had its limits and I did an internet search for images while at the table just to prepare myself for what might emerge on my plate after it departed the kitchen.) As it turns out my fears of the unknown were unwarranted. I sheepishly sampled the grits first. Then the shrimp. And then a bite of both together. Wow, that combo of flavors was really impressive y'all! Now my only fear moving forward is that when I order this again after leaving the South I may be greatly disappointed. While nothing during this meal could upstage my entree, I have to admit that the "Holey Donuts" (with accompanying chocolate and berry sauce) were also delish. And that's...Henry's Take. #shrimpandgrits #southernliving

Breakfast tacos with the Million Dollar Potatoes.

Food was absolutely delicious!!! Service was spot on. The Kale tonic green juice was my favorite!!!

Lemon ricotta pancakes

BEST LEMON RICOTTA PANCAKES EVER ================================ I've had breakfast at First Watch at least three times and I absolutely love it. Once I find something I like it's really hard for me to branch out, so needless to say I have ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes three times. My husband loves their Belgium waffles and my son and his fiancé like other things on the menu. After visiting this restaurant I have tried to recreate the lemon ricotta pancakes and mine just haven't been as good. But I'll keep trying unless my son gets stationed at Fort Benning again. If you are in Columbus, Georgia and you are looking for a place for breakfast you really need to go to First Watch.

Chickachanga
Russ L.

I tried their specialty breakfast Chickachanga which was rich and a tiny bit spicy. I wouldn't get it again, but it was fresh and full of taste. Just not my taste. The waitress was super nice and helpful. Great atmosphere. I will be back but will try something different.

Good food especially the waffles. Best grits I've ever eaten in a restaurant. A little pricey but a very good experience.

We found this breakfast spot while in town on the Army base. The staff is friendly. She memorized our order and got it 100%. The food was fabulous, it was quick and the service was great from in to out. Critique, I noticed the glass partitions in the booths were horribly dirty but someone was out sweeping the driveway. Overall, a great place to eat. Give it a try.

Their brisket puts the "B" in barbecue! Where did it go?!?!? That was the only item I really liked. Bring it back and I'll come back!

There are a wide variety of pastries available. I enjoyed a pumpkin spice cloud cream doughnut while my daughter loves the flavored soft breads. She likes the cold drinks, but my black coffee was good as well. The open dining area is clean, bright, and feels much larger without the booths that Fazolis used to have. Counter service was fast and friendly. Tous Les Jours, which means "daily," is good for breakfast or a snack during the day.

Lesson of the Day: Tous Les Jours in French means "every day". Well if I lived close to this place and I came everyday I would be big as a house. Tous les Jours is a French-Asian bakery originating from South Korea. Their concept is French-style baking with less butter/sugar and Korean inspired ingredients such as Ube & Curry. I will say I had a houseful of people so I was getting a lot and the "cafeteria style" grab & go concept kinda creeped me out. It was hard to do for a large order and the tongs were awkward for me. Now let's get back to the good stuff. This place smelled amazing. It was clean and honestly perfect. Everything looked amazing. I could've spent all day looking. They have something for everyone there. It was wall to wall goodies. I will most definitely come back here in February. Here's to Tous les Jours.
