I visit this place nearly every Sunday, and I've never had a bad experience. The food is always great and the service is always great. I usually sit at the counter, so I don't have much of a wait, but often there is a large group of people waiting to get seated. They do have an app that alerts you to when you are going to be seated so that is good. Try it out. You won't be disappointed. read more

Absolutely terrible service. I get the point that you could call-ahead on the app but there is absolutely no reason as to why there should be 3 families, 5 people or more, get seated in front of us. We waited for about 1 hour 20 mins to get seated. We saw a family that got there and waited 15 mins and got seated before us. The food was good but it certainly didn't taste fresh. Our server was polite and friendly. My family goes almost every single weekend and we have never experience service THIS bad. Also, why do they always manage to sit us in a 4 top table/ booth? My wife and I went to the restaurant this morning around 10:15 AM to order breakfast. The restaurant was not full. We were seated properly and provided with the menu's. We waited (approximately 15 minutes) for a waiter or waitress to appear to take our order but they never did appear. We noticed that a Manager and two additional servers never came to take our order. They just looked at us and kept talking. Another couple of a different ethnicity came in and was seated, provided menu's, given water to drink and their order was taken. At that point, my wife and I decided to leave the establishment and will not attend First Watch - Mill Run in Hilliard Ohio. Note: Maybe they have some new workers, but this particular crew that was working there this morning to serve customer's really showed their true colors! read more

I haven't been to a First Watch in several years, and I was very pleasantly surprised with the atmosphere and the extensive menu. There are great vegan options like the coconut milk chia bowl, and avocado toast (minus the eggs). Even soy milk creamers at the table!! The man at the hostess table was quite nice and helpful. The hostess brought me hot chocolate and it was yummy. The potatoes needed a little more salt and the sandwich needed a little less turkey and bacon. I enjoyed my stay except for the awkward couple that was sitting next to me. My favorite FAVORITE breakfast! I couldn't decide what to order because I wanted everything on the menu. I had my server assist in my decision making! I got the French toast (which was sweet, not too sweet) and had that perfect 'crisp' custard goodness (drooling just thinking about it). This is one of my favorite Columbus brunch spots because the food is always delicious and healthy. I've never ordered the same thing twice because their menu is so exciting and enticing. It's always changing. Me and my boyfriend like the Millionare's Bacon. I ordered the Power Bowl one time and it really filled me up. Most recently, he ordered the Market Skillet and happily got his fill of veggies for the day. I got the Bacado Omlettee which I loved. I think I kept smiling while I was eating it. I loved the toast so much that I asked our waitress what type of bread it was and she told me it's artisan grain bread and that it was for sale. I bought a loaf for $5 and can't wait to enjoy First Watch toast at home. It's often crowded and popular for breakfast so try and go early in the morning or later in the day. I love how they have the Dispatch and free coffee while you wait for your table. Usually, we hop over to Giant Eagle to walk around and wait for the text to say our table is ready. read more

We loved the poached eggs with smoked salmon, potatoes, and coffee. Our server was kind, helpful, and did a great job!

This is a neat, very clean place to have lunch/ breakfast if you never been there. Food however is not the best, I personally like my omelettes cooked with the ingredients together not put in inside and folded in like a quesadilla. Their French toast is pretty good! 1st let me just say that everything on the menu sounds super healthy but everything that I have tried is amazing. It's a little bit pricey here but worth every penny. I've tried several things from the menu the elevated breakfast sandwich, breakfast tacos, the waffle...we always get the million dollar bacon and the sausage was just OK. The staff is really really nice and attentive. It gets busy there, so if you don't want to wait a long time for your seat get there early. One tip I have is that if there is a wait, check the bar area because you don't have to be seated by the hostess to sit there and you get great service there is well. I hear they have an app where you can check in online to avoid the wait, but we just get there ahead of the crowd. read more

Even on busy days, this First Watch is very good. The staff is prompt with their service, very friendly, and the food is great. They have a good menu, with many breakfast options. I've had a few different omelettes and they're all pretty good. The menu will accomodate many different breakfast lovers. A variety of omelettes, "conventional" breakfasts like 2 eggs, 2 bacon, and pancakes, and even healthy options too. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because their eggs seem a little too generic (if that makes sense). As if they have a huge, bulk of egg beaters and cook them in 2 minutes. First Watch is a strong 3 stars in my opinion. Good enough to have no bad memories, but also not so good that I will have positive memories. The service is consistent, and the food selection is pretty good, but not fantastic. The last time I was there, I had an orange juice, which was actually pretty darn good, a hot chocolate, which was pretty good too, and a crepe which was too tough and chewy. I was meeting some co-workers before we cleaned up our section of adopted highway, and it was a good choice as they have plenty of options that aren't too heavy. Everybody was pretty happy, and it's definately a safe choice, by I would have rather taken them to Paul's in Grandview. read more

Wow, wow, wow! Great food. The service was exceptional and selection of food items satisfies any pallet. I got the tri-fecta with Belgian waffle, poached eggs and bacon. My friend got the carnitas with corn bread, fried eggs and black beans. We also got a bowl of their mushrooms with cheese to share...yum. Everything was fresh and just satisfying. It's neither good nor bad. The food is fresh but flavorless. Even the cajun chicken is bland. The worst part, however, is the coffee. It is very bitter and I would equate it more with liquid death rather than coffee. read more

Great location!!! They were super busy when we arrived but we were greeting immediately despite the large crowd at the door. Our first visit was for Mother's Day this year. As expected, they were very busy but they have a great service! They text you when your table is ready and allow you to view the menu while waiting and preorder your food. Great idea! My husband is a meat & potatoes guy so the healthy options were overwhelming for him. We were all VERY pleased with the food, although service could've been better, but again it was very busy. Have been going to this location for over 16 years with no major complaints until now. Tenured senior servers, who train and provide guidance for the new people, are now performing jobs not consistent with their experience.
