Ok I haven't been to This location in a very long time. Came today on a Tuesday morning. After we got sat down it took a min to get someone to even ask for our drinks and felt like everyone was just overseeing us. Anywho, once we did see our waitress she didn't listen to anything we were saying to her. I asked her if she's tried the new spicy queso steak plate and she ignore the question and just wrote down that that's what I was getting. Then my husband ordered bacon on the side and it looks like it has been sitting there (only one piece of bacon was crispy and the rest were sad and cold bacon). He ordered the works omelette and he said he felt almost as if the omelette has been premade and just heated up again. Idk he wasn't trilled about it. We just love this place! David was a great server and we were well taken care of. We both had coffee to start and shared the lemon blueberry cornbread (so good!) I ordered a BTL Eggs Benedict (without lettuce or tomato) and added Gruyère cheese with potatoes. My husband ordered a Bacado w/ multigrain toast. Both meals were wonderful and we left full! I enjoy coming here for their farmhouse breakfast and ambience. My boyfriend got the Farm stand breakfast tacos, which was pretty yummy. He also ordered the mimosa, which was on the pricy side at $9. My usual go-to is the biscuit and and turkey sausage, but I decided to order the Farmhouse hash this time and it was delicious. I just wish the bread was toasted a bit, but other than that the roasted tomatoes, bacon and potatoes, well, pretty much everything on the plate meshed real well with each other and had really good flavors. First Watch is probably one of the better breakfast places when you're looking for something higher quality than spots like Waffle House or Denny's. The food is generally healthier, better tasting, and they use real eggs. However, the consistency of both the food and the customer service at this specific location has been horrible. Today was the final straw. I spent nearly $25 on breakfast, including a drink that costs almost $6 (if not more). I ordered the chimichurri steak hash, and the steak tasted very low quality. On top of that, every time I order this $6 drink, I take a few sips and it's gone--mostly because the cup is filled with ice. So this time, I asked for half the amount of ice they normally put in it. When I received my to-go order, they handed me two cups, which is what's shown in the photo. I looked confused, and the employee explained that moving forward, if I don't ask for ice, this is how they have to serve it. What this really highlights is that the amount of tonic you're actually getting fits into a small cup, but they use a larger cup and fill it with ice to justify the $6 price. If that's the case, why not just sell it in the smaller cup for $3 and change? Half ice and half tonic for $6 makes no sense--especially in the economy we're currently in, with food prices continuing to rise. For $6, I can make my own tonic at home that would last me a week. Despite all the negative experiences I've had at this location, I continued to go back because I enjoy their pressed juices and some of their seasonal specials. But this situation--having to argue over what I'm paying for and walking out with two cups--was ridiculous. This was officially my last visit to First Watch. It's not worth the frustration. I wish them luck surviving this economy, but if they don't tighten things up, they won't. read more

OK, Shaun and I eat out just about every day and First Watch is one of our breakfast choices, we have eaten at most all locations, and most are good, depending on management, Mansfield was not so good until they changed managers. Arlington on Cooper has always been the best in our opinion. Food is good, waffles are great when they are freshly made, when First Watch is loaded with customers the waffles are premade, sometimes served at room temperature and not so good, the warm syrup makes up some, I always request make the waffle fresh. All in All First Watch is 5 star. First Watch Restaurant does not have offer a franchise. First Watch is not a franchise. Instead, it is a privately owned company with corporately owned locations. I've been coming to this First Watch since September and the service gets worse every single time. They either don't come to seat me in a reasonable time or they seat me and then forget about me until they see me looking around for service and then they argue over who's section I'm in. We joined the waitlist on our way there and were quickly seated as soon as we arrived. i was happy to know that most of their items are Gluten-Free naturally and they could do Gluten-Free French Toast! When we walked in the restaurant looked clean, open and inviting, but temp was super cold. Was sat, the server took care of tables around us, welcomed us and took our order promptly. Hot drink came to table room temperature, asked for her to take back with the dirty water glasses. Cake back with cold hot cocoa again, didn't bother asking for another hot one, as the server NEVER came back to check on us. Another server brought out our food.... Eggs on both my husband and my plate were cold, not even the slightest bit warm. Toast wasn't toasted, we got buttered bread. I was running late so I only ate the middle of my omlet. This place is terrible and I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. I've been to other First Watch indifferent cities that have been great, with equally great service .... Normally food is good, this time I placed an order to go for the chile chorizo omelet and it had a bit too much green chile and way too many caramelized onion and not enough chorizo. The avocado was brown and only a teaspoon of sour cream. My toast was soft because it was placed on to of the salad. I do like coming here, they're pretty good restaurant, I like their fresh choices. I had the bacado omelette and well it says it has bacon... It only has bacon sprinkles... And they are very few of those. The pomegranate, pear juice was delicious. I would highly recommend. The omelet was OK. The potatoes were amazing. I've been here a few times and have ordered delivery as well. First Watch is a reliable breakfast/brunch spot with all your classic brunch dishes and then some, plenty of variety and a full bar. I usually get the gluten free French toast because it's delicious and the perfect size. These gf bread slices are larger than most but still smaller than your usual Texas-brunch style French toast. A little costly when it comes with no sides, but yummy. I like a side of bacon or a sausage patty. My most recent order was a parmesan hash brown potato bowl thing with a bunch of Italian flavors and ingredients like sun-dried tomatoes, basil, sausage, mozzarella.. and two fried eggs on top! I thought a handful of the potato cubes were close to being a liiiittle undercooked, but otherwise the dish was super flavorful and satisfying. I think it's a lot of food though, I had leftovers. I appreciate that First Watch offers a gluten free brownie and gf rice krispy treat as well. They're pre-packaged but taste good, and it's just nice to have the option.. even though I think the time I'm least likely to want dessert is after brunch! read more

I keep forgetting to review First Watch. my son and I went for breakfast when we came back from an early overnight flight. He said mom we have to come here again. It is really so fresh. It was so fast to come out. We love how crispy and delicious the bacon is as we ordered the side of bacon. My son had a waffle, some scrambled eggs and I got the ham and gruyere omelette. So now I'm obsessed. I've ordered it five times through either DoorDash or Uber eats. It always gets delivered so quickly and it's so good!
