I want to buy a new Kia Sorento. I am a woman. I drove my current Sorento to the Simi Valley dealer. I walked around the lot for ten minutes looking at cars. Comparing stickers. No one came out to help me. The place was deserted. I got back in my car and was driving away. A man came out talking on his phone. Thought he might acknowledge me, but no, he was just going to his car. I stopped and said "I wanted to buy a new Sorento, but I guess I will just go to the Ventura Kia Dealer." This will be the fourth automobile I have bought on my own. My credit is excellent. Women are not treated seriously at car dealerships and it really is annoying. I will go buy my new 2025 loaded Sorento at another dealership. Also, I have had to problems with the First Kia service department working on my current Kia. I would avoid them.

Terrible service and disgraceful management On 2/19 I took my K5 in for 2 recall services to be completed. After getting into my car, I look up to drive off and I immediately notice a 5" long crack in the middle of the windshield. I get out showed the service advisor. He says it was there when I dropped the car off and that he penciled in a x mark on his paper notating the crack in that area. Conveniently, it was on his copy but not on mine that I was given after the recall service was completed. It definitely was not cracked when I brought my car in so I asked to talk to the manager. I showed Greg Thoma, the "service manager" the crack and he said it was there when I brought it in. On the inspection paper it doesn't show any notation of a crack on the windshield or any of the dents or marks around my car (left blank) that Greg tried using to defend his position, so how can the inspection be trusted? The inspection they claimed to have done is a joke. How can they inspect a car for damage without me there to check and sign off on it? After I told him the crack was not there when I dropped it off. Greg suggested I didn't see the scratch because of the rain. I told him would've seen it despite the rain and I reiterated it was not there when I dropped the car off. He then goes all defensive by walking around my car pointing out small dents and and scratches saying did we do these too? I said no, I know how those dents got there and what does that have to do with my windshield? He said that's a $700 windshield and we're not paying it. I told him again my windshield was not like that this morning. Greg shrugged and said don't come back here anymore. That is a wild approach. Not only rude and disrespectful but his behavior is unacceptable. He literally tells me to not come back to the dealership before I even told him to fix the damaged windshield. He had no intention of calmly explaining and proving that KIA is not at fault, he just wanted me gone. I tried to get Greg's last name and info from the advisor and GM both declined and said to find it online. After that I just got into my car and left because I ran out of time and had leave since they had my car for 6 hours. Greg Thoma has no business working at any company, let alone a manager position. His actions will cost KIA a lot of future business. I will definitely take his advice and not come back and buy another car from this dealership or company! I'm certain after Greg reads this, he won't care but I expect nothing less based on his aggressive behavior and unprofessionalism. *Update* Instead of apologizing for Greg's behavior and fixing the problem, the owner attempts to go on the defensive by straight up lying. At no point was an inspection done in the beginning when I was there. Only when they brought my car back, I mentioned the crack. I literally said to Greg how can you guys do an inspection when I wasn't present for it? Greg responded by saying that I don't have to be present while they did the inspection The advisor said he needed my signature to confirm the two recalls were completed. I was NOT signing that the condition of my car is good. You guys didn't even bring me my car to inspect before having me sign off... This dealership is an absolute sh*t show. I highly recommend to avoid!

My Kia is shaking on the road, local mechanic checked tires said it was the axle and I should take to my local dealer under warranty asap. I came to the Simi valley Kia explained why I was there this man said he can not take drive ins and appointment only. The next appointment being in March. I said okay I will take it. He refused . A single dad of two with one car at 50k miles full warranty and this guy "will not schedule that appointment" it was heartless And rude. Kia 800 takes zero complaints I had no choice but to voice my experience here in hopes people will consider not doing business or purchasing anything from this establishment .
