I visited the Kia dealer for some repairs and although I spent a long time at this facility, Oscar Robles, a service advisor who works in the service department, went above and beyond to help me get everything done in such professional manner. Be sure to ask for him on your next visit, you'll be glad you did... Thank you Oscar! read more

My sister and I went into Kia this morning just to see what options she had to get herself a much needed new car and with the help of Jonathan U. she was able to leave with a new car! He was able to give us all his wonderful knowledge on each car and he for sure knew what he was talking about. Very great salesman, truly recommend going to him if you're looking to buy a new car. Jonathan you rock!!!! read more

My Optima was making a loud klunking noise coming from the steering column. I took it to a nearby mechanic he wanted $1000 to fix it. He suggested checking to see if it was covered under warranty. I had a very positive experience with First Kia service in the past. Greg Thoma, the service manager is great. This time Brian Keelan took care of me. He was very helpful and responsive throughout the entire process. He had estimated 4-5 hours to complete diagnostics and repair. My car was ready for pick up in two hours and was completely covered under warranty. Although there are Kias closer to my house, I will continue to use First Kia for my service needs. read more

A few months ago I purchased a certified pre-owned KIA. The entire process was smooth and painless. The salesman Sid Kahn was phenomenal and patient. Even though this was during the pandemic they went out of their way to make sure my experience was pleasant from start to finish. I am loving my Kia Sportage and couldn't be happier that I bought from here. read more

Noah did a great job showing the car!!......... Thanks much!! Great selection of cars! Good service too!

Had a great experience at 1st Kia! Josh Vafee took us on a Kia Sportage test drive, the second of five cars I drove that day. He pointed out all the features and answered all my questions, without any pressure when I left. As Josh predicted, I loved the Sportage and when I was ready to make a deal the next day, he was fair and honest. It was refreshing to deal with a straightforward salesperson. I left with a beautiful new car and feel really good about the deal we made. Oh, and when I realized I had left an important item in my trade-in, I texted Josh on his day off and he made sure I got it back within minutes. All the people at Kia were friendly and helpful, so I have a feeling my year of free oil changes and any service needs will also be positive experiences. Thumbs up all around! read more

Worst deals possible, they just want to steal your money with shit prices. Don't recommend, go somewhere else.

Sang was great in service, very reliable and honest. Also we've known Johnny and this dealership for over 15 years. Awesome service all the time! read more

I (husband) literally hate car buying experiences because salesmen are always pushy and nonstop. Luckily Sid Khan broke the mold and I was able to shop on my time and he was just there to answer questions and lead me to some good deals without making it seem it's the end of the world if I don't purchase a car. I walked out with a great deal and the car buying process was the easiest experience I've had so far. Looks like I'll be sending my family here from now on! read more

Would have been better off trying to get ahold of Mr. Pickles, because Johnny Kia doesn't return calls, this place disappointed us by thinking we couldn't afford one of there cars, I bought my new soul from them and this time we got treated like 2nd class such a sad thing lived here all my life and this is still happening! No worries went to a real dealership and got a brand new fully loaded 2021 Chevy Red Line Traverse much much happier!! read more

I bought a vehicle from this establishment in December of 2017 and I was promised a rebate within 7-10 business days of buying the vehicle. It's been a month and i still have no rebate. I've had to call several times to get updates and the Sales Manager, Gary, is either not available and when he is, rather than talking to me directly he has another employee do the talking for him. I am starting to believe I won't be getting this rebate because i keep getting the run around. I finally had the chance to talk to Gary today and he told me that First Kia doesn't fund the rebates and that they don't know when I'll get my money because "they have to wait for KIA to fund them". This would have been great to know prior to purchasing the vehicle. Instead, I was told by their Finance guy, Henry, that I would get a check in the mail within 7-10 business days after purchasing the vehicle. I am very disappointed in the customer service at First Kia since my experience in the past with the other First Auto Groups has been nothing but positive. Getting laughed at when I'm upset by a member of the sales team is unacceptable and definitely not appreciated. Take your business somewhere else and if you decide to come here anyway, be careful. If the car you are interested in has an advertised rebate, make sure you get it that same day because you probably won't ever see it if you wait "to get it in the mail within 7-10 business days." read more

First Kia of Simi Valley has absolutely surpassed our expectations. Our salesman Mark Brody, provided us with excellent customer service and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. We got a good deal on our trade-in, which was more than every other dealer we visited (including Carmax). The down payment was VERY reasonable and the monthly payments were totally affordable. We are a family of 5 and brought with us our two young girls. They gave them colorings books, snacks and drinks to keep them from getting bored. Mark was very friendly and did not make us feel pressured or rushed. He knew we fell in love with the Sorento and did not try to veer us away into purchasing a different make/model. The whole process was quick and easy. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to lease/purchase a car. We drove to Simi Valley from Downey and it was well worth it. Thank you Mark Brody and Sid Kahn (I think that's how you spell his name) for making this a great experience for us. read more

Excellent first time experience at 1st Kia of Simi. Brian and the whole team were great. Very thorough in checking recalls, explaining the process and just overall great to work with. Hello from a very happy loyal customer, I recently moved to Moorpark and own a 2017 Kia Niro. I have had my car serviced three times in the past year and all three times Brian your service manager, took really good care of me and informed me what the car needs to stay in great running shape. I am very pleased . Recently I have been having trouble with my door locks and brought the car in to have them fixed. This time Oscar was assigned to me and I must say he is top notch. The Niro just passed the 60k mile mark and is 5 years old. I have the 10 year extended warranty on the car but he informed me the door locks might not be covered by this since it is just passed 5 years. He told me he would write to Kia Corporate and ask for a decision whether they would fix them at no cost to me. Oscar has kept me informed thru text message on the progress and just last friday that Kia would cover the repair. I must say if he is a new employee he is doing a great job and wish my company had people like him. Don't worry I am in the film business and not going to steal him, I just want to give credit to him for his outstanding work. Thank you for your time read more

I was on the hunt for a Telluride and searched several dealerships around the area. We came to First KIA in hopes to find one. We were pleasantly greeted by Eddie. There was very little inventory but Eddie said they have two in the back. Eddie brought both to the front so we could see them. He had one with more bells and whistles but I didn't like the color. So when he brought the second one right off the truck. I was sold. He helped us speed up the process. All the staff was very friendly and professional!I am now a proud owner of the new KIA Telluride! read more

Purchased my Honda Ridgeline this past week, Christmas Eve 2019. We have purchased several vehicles at this dealership, Johnny has always given us great deals. On this day, Jackson was assisting us, great guy, very pleasant to work him. And once again, Johnny and Jackson were able to work a deal with us; this makes our 6th car that we have purchased at 1st Kia. I recently paid off my Kia Sportage that I purchased at 1st Kia, and gave it to my son. I was looking for a pick-up truck to purchase, they had a great looking Ridgeline; they have a great selection of used cars. Yea, I had a great Christmas. read more

This review is for sales. I called and inquired about a used vehicle they had for sale. Came in the following day which I drove 2 hours to see this vehicle in person. I had every intention on purchasing the vehicle as I was not about to drive far to look at this vehicle and not go home with it. I was greeted by Cameron in sales. He was an awesome guy. Went on a test drive which the vehicle felt amazing. I knew I had to have it. Coming to an agreement took longer than I was expecting and needless to say I was getting frustrated a bit but it all worked out. The sales manager came over and with a smile on the paper I signed the line to my new vehicle. Needless to say the trip was so worth it. Cameron is awesome and even topped off the gas tank for me which I truly do appreciate it. If you are ever in the market for a Kia or used vehicle that 1st Kia has, I highly recommend Cameron. If I ever wish to buy another vehicle from 1st Kia. It would only be from him. Thanks again Cameron! read more

Horrible service center. Rude from beginning to end. Will not return. Not the first time they have been rude. If I could leave 0 stars I would. Went in for routine service. Needed a few other things checked. Wiper fluid reservoir had been leaking, was told at another Kia Dealer it needed to be replaced. They didn't have one in stock, they would order it. I have moved to Simi since then. Relayed the info to service dept. Right away they were rude . We need to check it out ourselves and determine that. That's understandable, but you don't have to be rude and nasty. Come to find out it was a hose damaged by something eating it. They tell my daughter to take it to the dealer that said it was covered under warranty. She never mentioned a hose being covered under warranty, only mentioned the reservoir. Knew nothing about a hose. Got it fixed, $185.00 later and it was patched somehow. They say car is ready, come get it. " They didn't do the actual service it was there for" Really! Will not go back, not the first time myself or a family member has been treated poorly. Horribly Rude people. Would discourage anyone from doing business with them. read more

Oscar R was great to work with. After having the wires under my hood chewed up by rats, immediate panic set in but with Oscars great communication he was able to put my mind at ease. It was great being able to communication via phone call and text. Oscar communicated with me through every step of the process from instructions to provide my tow driver, evaluating the damage, ordering the necessary part, pricing, and even after care. Once I picked up my car Oscar showed me the repairs that were made and even provided advice as to how to keep the rats away. I've gone to 1st Kia of Simi for all maintenance needs since I purchased my Kia in 2018 and Oscar has provided the best service by far. read more

My service rep on my recent visit was Oscar and he was excellent! He paid attention to what was wrong with my car and ensured that everything got fixed properly for me this time. He was accurate with time estimates and even threw in a coupon that saved me some money on the repairs. I did have a problem in my last visit where the headlights were very dim after they repaired a turn signal that went out, but they fixed the headlights for me this visit at no charge. Overall I've been using this service center for both of my Kia vehicles for years now and only once was I dissatisfied with my experience, all the other times were good and for this most recent visit I'd say even great, so hopefully this trend of greatness continues. read more

I am very disappointed with the staff here as they show no care to your vehicle but the most important part of this review is that I feel scammed by this dealership and it's service center. I recently took mySoul to the Valencia service center for another inspection because it was the only dealership/service center near me with the earliest time slot to inspect my vehicle. The service center in Valencia takes video of your vehicle and points out the good and bad parts shown by the vehicle in the inspection and okie of the parts shown was the cabin air filter which was extremely dirty , almost as if it had never been changed. I am upset by this because just a couple of months ago I took my vehicle into the Simi Kia service center for an oil change and requested to replace my cabin air filter and I was charged for it and was even told that it was changed when it obviously wasn't. read more
