They have connections to all the trades and can get a plumber, handyman etc over to my property often the same day, which is critical to keeping up the level of service I want for my guests. (Producing a repair person on the same day is no mean feat in the islands.) They are personable and professional, a pleasure to work with, and charge far less than a traditional property management company. I recommend them highly to any vacation rental owner.

And what view there was had filth caked on the windows. The unit was small. The bedroom had a slit of windows up near the ceiling facing the common hallway so as you are in the bedroom you hear everyone walking by. And the list goes on. We stayed 30 minutes and then booked our vacation at a beautiful hotel in Wailea getting the last room available. Complained to CB Vacation Rentals and was blown off multiple times. Jeremiah, Manager, was a joke! So we have now filed formal complaints with multiple jurisdictions and have demanded a full refund from VRBO and CB Rentals. Consumer misrepresentation is a crime and we will not sit back and be victimized by either party. If you see CB Vacation Rentals as a host - RUN away as fast as your feet will carry you. We are seasoned global travelers and have never experienced anything remotely like this. And we travel 1/2 the year to remote places where even in remote Patagonia, India, Mongolia, the Mekong...have never experienced such lies.

I did see the other 1-star reviews, however, they are older dates. Maybe management has changed. I was very pleased. We are reserving vacation condo with CB Island vacations again next year.

The communication was also excellent--they responded quickly whenever I had questions or concerns. When I received my photos, I wasn't completely happy with all of them. Some of the angles were a little awkward, and I felt several photos needed additional retouching. I reached out to them, and they were very responsive. They happily retouched the photos I requested and even upgraded my photo package, which I really appreciated. Their willingness to make things right showed that they genuinely care about customer satisfaction. While I'd rate the photos themselves around 4 stars, I'd give their customer service 4.5 to 5 stars. Because they listened to my feedback, responded promptly, and worked with me to improve the final product, I would recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and friendly photography experience in Maui.

The property was 5 minute walk from the center of Waikiki, a 10 minute walk to Ala Moana Center, and about 10-15 minutes walk to the beach. The location was awesome and the property was newly renovated as well as sparkling clean. But that wasn't what we were most pleased with. We had an issue with our wifi and our initial email was responded to within minutes and every email after that was responded within a minute. I was shocked by the quick response time! Soon enough, he made his way out to the property and started to fix the issue for us. He escalated the issue with the service provider and did all he could and more for us. She put in many hours fixing up the place I had just bought to get it rentable; these were unpaid hours; the only way she saw any money from her hard work was in the management company fee. She knows the island and its resources; she has access to handyman-types and to people who sell appliances. Mine is an odd-shaped, small condo at the top of a flight of steep narrow stairs, and Gail organized and executed the almost-impossible tasks of getting a unique-sized stove and other appliances up the stairs and into the condo. Gail worked with me to find a suitable renter, and while I'll admit that the company's unwillingness to use Craigslist is a little inconvenient, their reasons--which they explained to me patiently--are sound. Probably NOT a good company if you're a renter trying to scam or abuse the place or the people, but if you have integrity and are responsible, you should be good!

The day after booking and paying for this property we get an email from Patricia requesting another almost $500 or she will cancel our booking! We contact VRBO who tells us not to pay because she has a legally binding contract with us for the price that we paid since we had already paid. They say they are contacting her and everything will be worked out. Well four days later Patricia cancels our rental now we are searching for another rental with even slimmer pickings in Maui for Christmas. After reading other reviews I'm so glad we aren't staying in anything under her management. She is running a scam trying to get more money after entering a contact with paid customers.
