Can I give fewer than none stars? If this all turns out to be my misunderstanding, I promise I'll…read moreremove this review. Dan has been fine for a few years, but in the last two months, when my condo came up with a vacancy, he's been abysmal. He made up a pet policy that didn't exist, dismissing potential renters who had pets. (Pets ARE allowed.) He wasn't aware of washers and dryers on the property--this is his 3rd year with this property. He wouldn't return my calls, emails, or texts promptly or completely. I had to keep on contacting him. He would evade questions so I had to ask more than once. Then he would answer incompletely ("Are there more than one new tenant? Or a tenant and a dog?" Answer" "Not married.") When I asked where to find the listing on the confusing Hawaii Life website, he only said, "It's on the website." (No link) When I asked him again, he said, "It's in the system." I did find the listing. He posted the listing with one dismal photo: bare floor and railing. I sent him more photos of the property. Twice. The first time, no reply. The second time, after talking to him on the phone, he posted more photos. According to one set of prospective tenants, in a showing, he opened the door to the apartment for them, but then stood there, on his phone, letting them explore the interior on their own. When prospective tenants called him back after passing all reference checks to ask about washer/dryer and an existing piece of furniture, rather than deal with them, he cancelled their pending contract. In a phone conversation with me about this, he blamed their "millennial " age and cited their being from New Jersey as reason they weren't able to wait 2 days. Note: not working for Wailea Realty any more. Working for Hawaii Life.
