I've been coming to this reflexology/massage place for quite some time, and I've actually referred several people here because it's inexpensive and, up until today, I had always been treated fairly well. I've always understood that this is not a traditional private massage-room setup. There is a larger room with two beds on each side, separated by a curtain. Normally, when you come in alone, you have that side of the room to yourself. I've always been completely fine with that, especially considering a 90-minute massage is only $65. Today was completely different. When I was taken back, there was a folding partition placed immediately next to my massage bed. I asked whether someone else was going to be in the room with me, and because the employee spoke very little English, it was difficult to get a clear answer. Then another client was brought in and placed on the other side of that small partition, literally right next to me. I was extremely uncomfortable with this. During a massage, clients are undressed and in a vulnerable position. A small folding divider between two massage tables placed right next to each other is not an acceptable level of privacy. Had I been told when I booked or when I arrived that I would be sharing such a small space with another client, I would not have agreed to the massage. I'm also a licensed aesthetician and work in an industry where people are paying not only for a service, but to feel comfortable, respected, and cared for. I would never put one of my clients in a situation like this without explaining it beforehand and getting their consent. What makes this especially disappointing is that I've supported this business and referred multiple people here. I understand that the prices are inexpensive and I have never expected a luxury spa experience. But inexpensive does not mean that basic privacy and consideration should be sacrificed. My friend comes here all the time and I finally got the chance to come with her! Place was great and staff were great. Susan was awesome, and made sure it was comfortable and that the pressure level of the message was to my liking. Pricing is very fair. Seems like a lot of these other reviews people were just too afraid to speak up about pressure and if you book a full body message they do pull down your undies a tad when massaging your back. I felt like my body was set on fire. The entire time, I was breathing hard to survive. My feet went numb and I felt a massage ON my spine. That was a torture chamber, not reflexology. So I have been here a lot and until my last visit I was extremely happy with services. Went in on a Friday night later in the evening with my spouse. The couple across the curtain from us was drunk, fighting, swearing, moaning the whole time. While it seemed like the staff was trying to get them to not so be rude and obnoxious it continued for the entire 90 minutes and was extremely rude and stressful. I booked a one-hour massage based on a family recommendation. I was told to undress to my comfort level, so I kept my underwear on. Shortly after, I was asked if a male therapist could take over. I agreed. During the massage, the therapist pulled my underwear down without asking and applied painful pressure with his elbows directly on my spine and ribs, instead of focusing on the areas I requested. I stopped him and asked that he only work on my back and neck, but I still felt extremely uncomfortable with what was happening. I walked out halfway through. my first visit to this place was yesterday. My service provider was Miss Anna. She was incredible. My friend was with me in the same room and she had an incredible provider named Lucy. Anna was so incredibly thorough. I think she had the softest hands of any human that has touched me, but she is stronger than ox and she can go deep. I had to ask her to back off a couple of times, but if you like deep, she's the place to go. I feel amazing today thanks to her expertise and I will be going back next week. Just fabulous. Just had an excellent massage by Mike. I needed a neck, shoulders and back massage done with moderately deep pressure because I've been carrying a lot of tension in that area and feeling tightness and pain. The massage I received was perfect and the salon was nice and clean. This is right off the road from my place and my friend recommended I try it here. I did the combo massage for 90 minutes which was $65. That's a fair price but I felt that the message itself was just mediocre. The massage oils aren't scented or that smooth, making the touch to skin not able to glide easily. The towels on the bed and sheets are coarse, not soft. The rooms could be cleaner and there could be some music. My 90 minutes was constantly being interrupted by someone answering her phone in the next room. This is not what you'd expect at a massage place. I'm trying to relax! read more

Had a reservation for a 60 minute massage with additional 30 minute foot massage. My husband bought this is a gift on Mother's Day and made the reservation for 12pm. We got a call that morning that they had too many reservations and were going to cancel the foot massage. It was odd but we didn't say anything. The massage itself was the most strange massage I've ever had. The gal left the room twice during it but didn't indicate where she was going or when she'd come back. She was very rough and I asked a few times to please slow it down a little bit. She was very fast and abrasive. I actually tensed up at some points because it was so uncomfortable. Two other women were with me and they too had a similar experience. All 3 of us were sore the next day. It was a very interesting and unfortunately painful experience. read more

I really don't like leaving bad reviews, but after my experience on Friday this is warranted. I made an appointment over a week ago for a combo reflexology for 10:00. I walked in at 10:01 due to Shea road being all torn up and there wasn't a " reflexology room" I will also note that I called multiple times and no one picked up. Upon arrival, they tried putting me in a room, but I wouldn't be getting the feet soaking portion with it. The lady tried telling me that the feet soaking wasn't always included. Ummmm....I've always had my feet soaked. That's the whole point of the combo massage. You guys really need to honor appointments and not give rooms away. This is the best reflexology I've been to in the Valley. I was a massage therapist and instructor for 10 yrs and so I'm very picky with my massages as well as careful with how I spend my money. I can't even imagine why some of the reviews are lousy. This place rocks. I've been going to FCR&M for years now. The place is clean, well run and the practitioners are very good. If you don't like the pressure (too light or too hard) simply say so and the practitioner will adjust! They speak very little English but they will accommodate. They raised their prices for a 1hr reflexology a few years ago from $35 to $45. It's affordable enough for me to be able to get a massage at least 1 or 2 times a month. read more

My friend recommended the Tempe location. I chose the Tatum Blvd location because that's closer to me. I really don't think there would be much of a difference between the locations as far as services go. In fact, every single "reflexology" place I've tried in the valley are pretty much the same. The massages are usually a little uncomfortable, the actual beds aren't that comfortable and the massages are usually rough even if you don't ask for a deep tissue. I went with the combo massage. I also added the foot detox treatment. I love getting a foot detox done, while sitting up. Here they ask you to lay back on the massage bed and put your feet in the detoxing machine. It's so uncomfortable and will certainly leave your lower back sore afterwards. Overall A - Ok ... nothing special, nothing different. read more

I've visited this establishment more times than I can count over the last eight years. I had a really bad experience during the height of COVID that made me stop going for at least a year but I decided to return and was recently reminded why I left. While it is truly a bang for your buck, what I've come to believe is that the staff must not be compensated very well and as a result, therapists are not only demanding tips but expect a certain amount. I have seen Eva regularly for the last six months but on my recent visit she directed me to my room with much contempt (I thought she was just having a bad day). Once she entered and I greeted her, she responded with, "You give me $8 tip last time. Only $8." I typically tip $10 or more and on this particular day, I only had $9 in cash but felt comfortable since it was still a 20% tip. I told her I tipped her $9 and she angrily responded in her native language and then was able to say to me, "Next time you choose someone else." I immediately got up, and got dressed and let the woman at the front desk know what happened. She apologized and said she would let the manager know. I did not ask to be contacted but it's because I didn't think the manager would even if I did, and I have yet to hear from him. I assumed this due to my previous experience with the aforementioned incident that happened in 2020 and the response (or lack thereof) of the manager at that time. All this to say, I would not recommend this place and hope to find a comparable alternative with good customer service and a sense that employees are treated fairly. read more

I've been a customer with this company for months now and I have to say, by far hands down the BEST massage facility I've ever been to! The staff is friendly but what I really love is that they know what they're doing! There is no "beat around the bush" or sale pushes, they get straight to the point and I definitely get my money's worth. Well, I've had many professional massages. When I get a reflexology massage I expect that to be foot focused... also not requiring you to take your clothes off. She insisted I take my clothes off, even though I could see a man between the curtains in the next room (who was snoring the entire time of my massage - assuming he worked there). I left my panties and bra on... she insisted I take my bra off half way through the massage. Then things got really weird. She literally pulled my underwear down extremely fast ( like ripping a bandaid off), she proceeded to pull the towel down down to my thighs along with my underwear at once. NO JOKE!! I was laughing but not out loud, so unprofessional and I felt so uncomfortable. THINGS GET WORSE!! Seriously this is not a joke review! I feel bad even putting this on a company's yelp. So then she climbs on top of me (I'm face down) and she was straddling me... sitting on my upper thighs and rubbing me from the bottom of my glutes the top of my back. I could feel the lotion seeping in between my butt cheeks,no joke!! I LITERALLY FELT VIOLATED. At this point I was still some what laughing inside because I can't stop thinking, is this really happening?!!! Never returning. Not to mention I usually get deep tissue but this massage was like extreme deep tissue in all the wrong places... like she was pressing so hard on my bones, my temples and eye brow bone... it was quite painful.
