The lady I spoke to does not speak English, she mixed up my massage times twice. Once arrived, the person conducting the massage clearly is not a massage therapist, my boyfriend gives better massages than that experience. Also the place was extremely dark with a strange smell. I need to rebook a massage elsewhere to get the relief I'm needing. Their prices are expensive, but the quality is not there. Waste of money! Went to get a couples massage and my back was more messed up afterwards in all honesty. I'm not one to leave bad reviews however I try to give honesty. The day that I went in felt very rushed as far as the intake process - "come early if you can we are very busy today" and when we got there 30min before our appointment time we were taken in right away (which was fine). My spouse and I were taken back to the room and told to undress - no one had asked "problem" areas for our massage or etc again which is fine however I would have liked that as I have a very bad back. The massage in my opinion was subpar felt good in some areas however I dont think they put attention into retention of clients rather than get you in and out. My back hurt two days after (normal I get because of toxins) however started to progressively get worse the following weeks like worse than my normal back pain. Kind of disappointing after spending some decent money and leaving a decent tip for both masseuses however my fault for not looking into it more. read more

I was looking for a last minute massage and was happy when I called Best Wellness and they confirmed they had Saturday evening availability. I appreciate that they threw in a 2-minute hot stone segment. Overall the experience was ok. It was a no-frills facility with multiple rooms. As you're in the room you're given a towel to cover your body. The towel is large enough to go from your chest to above your knees so about 25% of your body is continuously exposed during the massage and it's a little cold in the room. You can also hear multiple opening and closing doors during the massage so it's tough to relax. Finally, i was asked to pay and tip before receiving services which I've never had to do before and it caught me off guard. Found this place through Groupon. Disappointed that fellow Yelpers did not give accurate reviews. To start, when we booked the appointment, she didn't understand about the Groupon and didn't mark our appointment as such so that when we got there she was asking for payment. Back to booking - she kept thinking that we wanted couples massage rather than TWO separate massages - but at same time. Also, the morning of, she called and said that they were going to be busy at the time of our appointment, so could we come five minutes early. When we confirmed that we wanted two rooms, she tried to offer us a different time. Finally, we confirmed our original time and two rooms. Upon arrival - in the first room - there is no one there to greet you. The place smelled like a vet clinic. There was a lady inside the next room and she asked for payment. We again said that we had Groupon. Got that sorted out.... Then she was walking us back and tried to put us together in couples massage room. Once again, we stated we wanted two separate rooms. Both us experienced the masseuse/masseur not giving us enough time to get undressed and on the table - that was very rushed. During the massage we both had similar experience of the person stepping out of the room to get the hot stones. They would leave the door open. This is so disconcerting and awkward!! There were also conversations happening in the hallway and next to the rooms, so it was not a calm atmosphere. Finally, while it started out relaxing, towards the end it seemed they were rushing to finish up. Now to the last part - we gave a cash tip. It was at that point that they said it wasn't enough and proceeded to pull out a sign that stated a mandatory 20% tip. Quite disappointed with the experience and feel scammed! My mother and I found a Groupon for two 60 minute Deluxe Massages with hot stones and aromatherapy. When I called to make the appointment, I said that I had the Groupon and that I'd like to book 2 massages. She immediately assumed that I wanted a couple massages. I had to tell her multiple times that this was the Groupon 2 massage purchase and that it was for my mother and I and it was 2 rooms, not a couples massage. On the day of the appointment, I received texts confirming the appointment and directions to the building. The next text said that they were very busy at our appointment time and asked us to arrive 5 minutes early. The location wasn't very hard to find and there's plenty of parking around Checking in, they were still oblivious to the fact that we had the Groupon and that this was not a couples massage and 2 rooms were needed. Mind you, in the confirmation text she said they had 2 rooms reserved It was not a calming experience to start out. The essential oils looked extremely old and messy - during the massage you could barely smell it Got to the room and I barely set my purse down before the woman opens the door to start. No knock or anything and I told her no I need a few minutes to address. I was half on the table pulling the sheet up when she comes in again - NO KNOCK Walls are thin and you can hear the other worker's conversations. They kept leaving the massage room to talk or grab the hot stones. I think in total I received a 45 minute massage. Never felt relaxed the entire time as they were speeding through I did not want to leave any tip but they stand and hover over you outside the room. I decided to give $5 cash even though I again did not want to and that's when one of the women pulled out a *hidden* sign that they have a mandatory 20% tip. The towel they give you out of courtesy to cover your private parts should just not have been given to me in the first place. Well I have nothing but compliments to give. My massage was over the top, it was done by a man whose name I forgot to get. He was very knowledgeable about the body, he manipulated and maneuvered my body as a physical therapist would do and I needed and appreciated it. If you have had some surgeries or something that you would not like stretched to the max then you need to communicate that, or there is a possibility that you could be hurt. They don't speak English very well, but good enough I think to run their business. The pressure was just right and I'm a fan of deep pressure at times it was deep and at times it was Swedish and gentle a good mix. He even massaged my abdominal organs to decongest them. I'm a big massage person and have had many this one was my best and I will request him again. You need to gel with your masseuse, you have to both be in tune and that is what makes it a good match.
