I've now been twice in one week, which never happens, but it was that good and easy to call the same day to get an appointment too. $65 before tip for a one hour massage seems reasonable. The place is clean, they get in where they need to and even listen if you have special requests (ie: my neck). It's conveniently located off of the 101 and Via de Ventura. It's not for me. I prefer a place where they get to know you and ask you about where your problem areas are, what areas to avoid, old injuries, etc. The techs here just jump in and go hard-core on you. I've had probably 30-40 massages over the years, and have never felt so sore the next day. It was more traumatic than restorative. They also climb up on the table while giving the massage, which was a brand new experience for me. I was there with a partner who got a massage at the same time and his experience was similar, but he said it seemed par for the course. I was glad they blotted off the oil and did a hot towel wipe afterwards. That felt good. Place seemed clean. It's just not the style of therapeutic massage I prefer. read more

Absolutely fabulous massage with Linn. Her hands are magic. I was greeted warmly at the front desk and escorted to the room. The room is clean, comfortable, and I was made to feel like a very special and honored guest. Amazing! The 90-minute-deep tissue massage was certainly in the top five I have ever had. My only disappointment --and didn't realize until after I had left--was that I didn't receive and wasn't offered the table shower mentioned on the web page. That would have been delightful! When we got finished, we asked their names and neither one was Diana. They were Candy and Coco. So it doesn't seem To matter if you request... or else there is a language barrier. First off, the woman who answered the phone answered "hello" instead of saying the business name. Confirmed I could get a massage at 3 pm. Got a text with directions. Made a point of getting there a few minutes early. The Asian woman behind the counter looked at me like I was an alien. Asked if I had the right location. The next opening they had was 3:20. I've been here twice. The first time was great. The woman I had was great. They ask you to pay first AND leave a tip before your service which is kind of odd but whatever.. I would probably leave a bigger tip if they waited until after though. The second time I came, I went with my boyfriend. They put is in the same room, which was nice and unexpected bc usually places charge more for that. The massage this time just ok and she left the room 4 times during my massage. I think my BF had the lady I had the first time and I wish I knew her name bc I would only come back for her. I'm shocked by the treatment here. If you want to be insulted you've come to the right place. We came in after a long drive and were in need of a foot massage. We were told by the woman that since I'm overweight I would have to pay $105, for an 1hr foot massage. I said ok, I thought to myself, this place is expensive but must be good. She then quoted my husband $75 for the same 1hr foot massage. I asked her why was my massage more and she said because I was overweight and they charge more. I have never been to a place like this ever I have been going to get foot massages for over 30 years and have never been treated with such disrespect. read more

Well, what they lack is attitude, professionalism and there is lots of language barrier. I am ok with language barrier but not ok with bad attitude and professionalism. I called today and booked appointment. I reached on time. And the owner says oh we are overbooked come tomorrow. And the worst part is I have been here every week. The massage itself was good. The cons were that it started 10 minutes late and my therapist stepped out six times minimum to help customers coming in. Also there were several times when someone knocked on the door opened up and started talking. Very difficult to stay relaxed with so many interruptions. Can't even rate the massage. Made appointment for 5pm for 3 people. We Called and confirmed about an hour ahead of time and to check that they take visa. All set, and yes they take visa. We live in pinnacle peak so this is quite drive. We get there 15 minutes early and the front desk lady has the manager on the phone, and she hands the phone to my husband and the manager tells him that she can only take 2 people now and then our 3rd at 5:30 because another customer wanted to extend his massage by 30 minutes. I have been to Tranquility Spa about 8 times. When I first started going, I had severe muscle aching, and spasm in my trapezius muscles. The first massage was more than I expected. Their expertise in finding the sore areas and focusing on those was excellent. Again, I have been there about 8 times and have never had anything but a wonderful experience. I have had several different masseuses, and each one was different in their techniques, and each one was more of a healing experience than just a massage. I tend to carry my stress in my upper back and shoulders, and each time, I leave there, I feel healed. The price is very reasonable.
