Terrible customer service. They mess up your car and then say we didn't do anything. I had my ac checked because I had hot air coming out randomly. They told me to leave the car bc it was going to take long. So they call me to give me a bogus diagnosis that would cost me over 1500$ I said no thank you. So I pick up my car and ONLY hot air was coming out. When I called them they said they didn't do anything. Clearly taking advantage that I'm probably not knowledgeable about the ac problem, but I know they evacuated the Freon and didn't replace it. They refused to do anything. I called corporate/ customer service and NEVER got a follow up call from their store manager TRAVIS as I was told I would. All of this to say that I went elsewhere, they changed a simple a/c pressure sensor added Freon and it works! No thanks to them and their terrible customer service. read more

Came in at 2:30 for an oil change and was told it would be between 1-1 & a half hours. Ended up leaving at 5:30 & was told I would need a new battery. Thankfully was able to call AAA & found out my battery has 84% life on it, so thankful I did not purchase when it was not actually needed. read more

I called ahead and checked to see if they had my tire size in stock and they did so I had them put one on hold for me setup a appointment time for 11am courtesy of Leo. I setup a tow to Firestone. I bought new tires $1000 from Firestone back in June 2023. I get regular tire rotations and alignments (between my dealership when they work on my car) to Firestone (Typically every 6 months), In those 2.5years, I have driven 28K miles (Hardly anything). Tires are Firestone All Season (225/55R20) Rated at 55,000 miles, or 5 years. I got half of that in mileage and half of that in time. When going in for a tire rotation they have stated that my tires are bad and they are unable to rotate. How is this? So I dug deeper, looking into the warranty of the tires. These are Supplemental Milage Limited Warranty. Which according to the tech, there is nothing they can do. I need to replace them. I'm not sure if its a Hussle for the money or what. But this is highway robbery. They can't offer me any discount to new tires, they can't offer a manager or when he will be in (because they are not allowed to share the co-workers schedules). I believe its time to boycott Firestone. I have been a loyal customer to them for many cars for about 15 years. They have lost a customer and I can guarantee, I will hit every "REVIEW" post possible. DO NOT BUY YOUR TIRES. It leads me to believe that when buying these tires, did I really receive new tires? or did they put something on that was already used. Great price My experience at Pep Boys was a disaster but walking into the Firestone location completely turned my day around. I had the pleasure dealing with Leo. Soon as I walked in he was extremely nice acknowledged me with a hello and a smile. I explained my issue he quoted me a price that was significantly cheaper than Pep Boys up the street. Do not go to this location this location service sucks. They had me waiting for over three hours just to change tires they go under your hood for no reason you don't need a mechanic. I just want my tires changed they do too much of nothing seem to me that they where just milking the clock ... instead of changing my tires ....never again I return to this place. read more

Pros; front desk personnel are courteous and efficient Cons; Tire was replaced and lettering faced the wrong way.. Lettering on tire faced inward. not happy with the mismatch with the remaining 3 tires that have lettering facing out. Another thing that irritated me a bit was the fact that the garage workers get into customers cars with dirty oily clothes and never cover seats with plastic or papers. I have been bringing my vehicle here since 2021 and my experience has been inconsistent. Today was unacceptable. I brought my car in to get my tire checked because it was leaking air significantly. I'm talking about losing 10 psi from one day to the next and even after putting air still continuing to slowly leak air. I was told they checked and nothing looked wrong with my tire. I explained to the technician what was going on prior to bringing it in and my worries since I drive around my 11month old baby in that vehicle. He said he would check it again. I was told again that they checked my tire and nothing was wrong. My dad came with me for pick up and he expressed his concerns. They said they would check it again then and there in front of him. Then we were told indeed there was unrepairable damage to the tire and they didn't notice it because it was on the inside. The issue here is that they didn't do their job properly the first time around. I had to express my concerns three separate times before they finally "found" the issue. The company emphasizes the word COMPLETE. However, they did not completely check my tire. They are suppose to be the specialists. My dad is not a mechanic but it wasn't until he shared his opinion on possible causes that the issue was found. If you know a thing or two about cars then bring your car here because you will be able to understand/challenge the work being done to your car. But, if you don't then find somewhere else. I didn't renew my warranty with them yesterday because I won't be coming here anymore they lost my trust COMPLETELY. To the location, Do Better. read more

I took my car in for low air on tires on a Friday which was very pack of vehicles. They said to drop it off and check it out and get to me. Which they did like in 1hr 1/2 they one tire had a nail but not puncher and put all tire to its proper pressure. That the sensor would go off in 50 MILES. Never new it took that many miles. To my surprise, one had a nail and all tires were low in pressure and the reason now this is because I took my car to the dealer for a recall it had the following week. So this place i do not recommend after still gave them a ten gallon tip. Won't go there again. read more

I've been a loyal customer at the Firestone Complete Auto Care location in Santa Ana (101 South Main St., 92701) for over 20 years, and I've seen at least four different service managers come and go. While I understand the challenges of this industry--balancing customer satisfaction with sales quotas--it's frustrating when unnecessary services are recommended just to meet those quotas. Recently, I took my vehicle to the Santa Ana location for a simple flat repair. Without much inspection, the manager took one look at my tire and told me it was "unrepairable" and that I needed a brand-new tire--turning what should have been a $20 fix into a potential $400 replacement. Disappointed, I decided to get a second opinion. I visited the Firestone location at 11230 E. Washington Blvd in Whittier, and the difference in service was night and day! My service advisor, JORGE, went above and beyond to help me. He took the time to inspect my tire properly and was able to repair it--just like that, I was back on the road for a fraction of the cost. Honest service like this is hard to come by, and I truly appreciate the professionalism and integrity shown by the Whittier location. I went on 3/10 and the service guy was very polite. He felt trustworthy. They told me certain issues needed to be addressed. One of those things was to change the roters. I said okay, thinking Oh my God all those issues is going to add up. I expressed to him that it was going to take me time to make all those repairs. I had great service at this store. I knew I needed new tires. Leo was great at assuring me that an inspection would be done and that they had the tires I needed onsite. I asked if my brakes could be checked as well and that was added to the invoice. I did wait long, but I noticed they serviced a lot of cars that day. I was glad I made an appointment. Leo explained that I needed tires and not brakes. He offered me several options. I got a set of tires and am happy with the service. Don't believe the negative reviews about how women are treated differently. I saw Leo interact with several customers and he was professional with all customers. I'm not sure of the quality of their work because it's been 4:30 hours since I dropped my car off. I made an appointment online for 10:00 am, dropped off my vehicle at 9;57 am and it is now 2:29 pm. The service is slow really really slow. There is nothing I hate more than waiting. The representative at the counter is slow and unbothered with trying to get you in and out as quickly as possible. They really need to step up their customer service. The value of the services needed wasn't that bad. They actually have fair prices. They are a bit more affordable than Pep Boys or Jiffy Lube. So the wait time is ridiculous, but the value is reasonable. The services requested were done. I don't know how I feel about recommending it to friends, family or followers. Once I pick it which looks it will some time in 2024 I'll update on the quality of their job. I'd probably be eligible for Medicare by the time I get a call letting me know that it's ready. read more

Welcoming and friendly customer service. Unfortunately a huge miss in troubleshooting. I arrived with what looked like a big nail in tire tread and no signs of leak. I was told they couldn't repair it and was quoted the price for a new tire. Mind you my tires have a lot of tread life to them, so I refused the new tire purchase. I went to Salinas Tires (8813 Norwalk Blvd) Where Brian check the tire, notice there was no leak, pulled out the object from the tread and checked for signs of leak. There was no leak so he sent me on my way free of charge in just 15 minutes and saved me the unnecessary cost of a new tire. read more

No complaints. I've been coming here for years for my oil change and typically come in on Saturday morning's as that's what my work schedule allows for. To me, the wait times are normal as to when I would take it to the car dealer when I was under warranty but maybe possibly less time. I've waited anywhere between 45 mins to 2 hours on a Saturday and I almost always schedule appointments online, however, today they told me they don't take appointments anymore. ETA given was 45 mins to 1 hour. I don't care, as it's Saturday and I always expect several cars and people here waiting. I just bring a book and chill. This place is hit or miss with good service. Being friendly there good no issues there at all. Giving you the correct information and communicating with each other? not good ... I got a chunk of metal in my tire so I went in got a quote the guy was cool I asked for a printed copy of the quote and went on my way came back the next day to get the new tire installed and they tried charging me much higher then I was quoted told them you gave me a different price yesterday. I was told we can't do cheaper then the price there telling me now and where's the quote. Luckily for me I had it in my car grab that showed them and they were awwwww ok I'll do this price. ThEn the guy tells me the tires aren't gonna Match same size different brand and style after I paid..well WTF!!!! I said ok I'll just buy two tires and that way two can match he said yes I'll put the new ones in the front they will match I said sounds good call me when your done. I waited all day no call text nothing and now they close in 30 minutes. So I just rolled up said sup with my car he said O it's ready. Then this bozo tells me o yaaaaa you have directional tires sooo the 2 new tires are on the driver side and the old ones are on the passenger side that's not what you told me before he said I didn't know you had directional tires. I've gotten my tires for this car only at firestone. Either way he should know what tires I have either looking at them or checking his computer. Not a good experience. If you get a quote make sure you get a copy you need proof because you might get burned. read more

So I got my tires here many moons back and it's a place I trust even though I don't know a single person nor know for a fact that they do good work. It's just faith. I dunno if it is worth buying the lifetime wheel alignment via Firestone because I've only gone twice in the 4 years I've had my car. I tried making a reservations online last night but today was unavailable. I just figured I'd wing it since I had something going on in the early afternoon. I arrived at 9am and was told another appointment was ahead of me and that it would take an hour. At 9:20 that alignment spot was still vacant so I asked the manager what is their grace period for no shows, shortly after that my car was being serviced. I figured if I just sat their and said nothing I'd still be sitting their. Plus I had an appointment. All in all this place does did their job and I was on my way. read more

I brought my Acura in to repair a tire which was repaired at the Firestone location in Walnut but was still leaking. I left my car so I could get my tires rotated and repair the leak. Two hours later I received a call from Ernesto saying my tire that my leaking tire could not be repaired and there were nails in two other tires and only one could be repaired. Since I had road hazard protection they offered to give me credit of around $62.00 per tire and with all the added extras I was looking at another additional amount of money and a up charges of another $201.00! I advised Ernesto this didn't sound like any deal when I knew I could get brand new tires at $119.00 each at America's Tire and told him to prepare my car for pick up. Firestone Tire centers is always trying to up sale additional services that are supposedly needed. On the last visit they said I needed a timing belt at 90k miles and the factory said it's not necessary until 120k miles. That's bullshit, also when I called for quotes at various locations on the same tires I would constantly get prices with large price differences. I think these technicians are on commission or have to meet quotas! I advised Ernesto that I'm done with Firestone and they have lost a customer. It's sad that every time I would go to Firestone I felt I was getting screwed over in some way. Life's to short for this. read more
