So I needed a couple new tires and an alignment for my truck. I called around in these guys had a reasonable price on a in-house tire. I did a little research and overall found that people like the tire it's seems to be generic tire made by a main manufacturer so I decided to get the work done and they could give me in the next day which was fantastic. So I showed up for my appointment and it was an hour of sitting around before they even got the truck in and then over another hour for them to throw on the tires and do the alignment. The waiting area is not particularly comfortable, but I mean I guess it's mine for what it is. The problem is that a couple of days of driving the truck. I've noticed that the alignment seems to be worse than before I brought it in so I called them to see about having them take another look at it. Make sure the alignment was done correctly. Not only did they give me a very hard time over the phone insinuating that they could not have possibly made a mistake. They also try to tell me that the only time that they could take a look at it was a week from now. Overall, unfortunately this is not been a positive experience. I can't thank SHY, and JP enough for helping me out yesterday. I drove home from work yesterday and ended up shocked to find my low air light come on..... by the time I rolled in to check the tire pressure and inflate the pressure, I was completely flat. I pumped it up, drove to Firestone ( one of the few places I trust will not take advantage of a woman), to meet a very professional lady at the counter named Shy, and a mechanic named JP. They explained my options, and helped by putting my spare on within minutes even though it was end of the day, and there was clearly still work to be done. This tired Nurse couldn't have been more pleased. Whomever owns/managers this store should be proud of this team! OUTSTANDING!!! Thank you Shy and JP.... I hope someone shows them this. read more

I frequent the location on East Ridge road in Irondequoit. My usual trips are for tires,this past Sunday I was in for an oil change &a noise coming from the rear of my vehicle. Scheduled the appointment online; Austin @the front desk was personable & knowledgeable. This location is pretty busy so unless you're dropping off your vehicle,there will be a wait time. I brought my vehicle into the Dewey Ave store for service yesterday morning and long story short when 4 o'clock rolled around and I had not been contacted I tried calling the store and there was no answer. I went down there and found the place closed, completely locked up. My Jeep wasn't in the parking lot, so I'm assuming it's locked inside but I have no idea really. There was a hand written note on the door saying the store had to close due to an emergency and there was a phone number to call for more info. When I called the number the person who answered didn't identify themself but said there was a shooting outside and they had to close up and leave. I pressed the issue bc there was no signs of anything happening there, no police tape nothing. He said gang members started showing up and it wasn't safe they had to leave. Told me to call back in the morning about my vehicle. I tried calling corporate and another store to get in contact with anyone who could help me and no one could give me answers or get me in contact with an area manager. I looked at all the crime reports and found no reports of anything happening there, I sent an email to the police captain so now I'm waiting to hear back to confirm their story. When I called corporate customer service they were extremely rude and unhelpful, didn't ask me any questions, just asked my name and number and said someone would call me back in 3-5 business days. Didn't ask what store I had gone into or anything. As of now my vehicle is presumably still locked inside at the store but who really knows. Maybe it was stolen. Maybe someone took it on a joy ride. Who knows. No one could confirm for me where my vehicle was, where they were in the service I had brought it in for, or when I would have my vehicle back. read more

Got in quickly and they were able to replace my tire in a timely manner. Friendly staff and good pricing. However, the staff was very lax in adhering to making, and the clients were as well. Even though I'm vaccinated I felt uncomfortable waiting there for my car because of this. read more

They are not the cheapest mechanics around. But in my experience they are the most honest. Too many times I've gone to a mechanic with my car and they try to convince me that my car needs certain things, or the car will explode or something. I have many relatives (including both my brother and father) that are mechanics, so that kind of hyperbolic scare tactics don't work with me. After getting a recommendation from a friend, I decided to try them, and their honesty won me over. They tell me what the problem is, and how critical it may be. Sometimes I take the car to Connecticut for my brother to fix, other times, I just get it fixed here. Never had a problem with them. read more

These guys are reasonably priced and honest as can be. I went here after having failed my inspection at another corporate garage due to a loose tire rod. Said garage quoted me upwards of $500 dollars plus $30 to replace a headlight, in which I supplied the bulb. I thought, "this is BS, I'm going to get a second opinion." So I went to Firestone, explained my situation, and my vehicle was on the lift in 5 minutes. Yes, a tire rod was loose, barely, but they have at least 6 months to 1 year left before they need to be looked at. They also replaced a few bulbs that I needed, plus a re-inspection for a total of $75. Firestone saved me almost $500 and were completely real with me the entire time. They also suggested I get my windshield fixed and explained how to do this through my insurance company. I will definitely be coming back for future repairs. read more

Then I get down there, and the price is $85. keep me waiting for 3 hours then says you did not buy the tires here so I cant change them. BYE.......... The con artist broke my headlamp which worked perfectly before taking the car in for yet another alignment they screwed up 3 times previously and then wanted to charge me 170 dollars for a 5 minute light bulb repair job. A bulb they broke. read more

Terrible. they did 4 new tires for me super fast and even stayed 30 minutes late! wait...i said terrible? back tires go flat. after 3 trips to fix they still went flat. the car is in my driveway with 2 flats still. it gets worse. after the speedy tire service (before the flats) I was happy. I brought my car in for inspection and 1500 in repairs. got the car back and they left the window open in the rain. Chris said "let me pay for a wash" great! upstanding manager. drove the car home and it over heated in 3 miles. called chris, "i'll tow your car back and fix it." great! tow truck driver, not a firestone employee, puts the car on the bed and says "you have oil all over the place." turns out the hose was reinstalled kinked, honest mistake. I ask "what about the oil underneath?" (chris)"what oil?" I went outside with a paper towel that I took off their counter, wiped the bottom and showed them. It was fresh oil. they put it on the lift and said it was just some spillage. cars fixed! oh that's right, the tires are still going flat. i wrote this review a little out of order to display the confusion I went through. It's pathetic that a national brand is this bad. My hope is that firestone sees this and cares enough to correct the wrong. read more
