I called them to make an appointment and asked for an "Oil change special". They understood without question. The price is matched the online price. I am glad that I made a call instead of buying a deal from Groupon because I want them to keep their all money instead Groupon charging them a certain amount lol. They have a nice waiting area with a small play area for children, another room with comfortable seats and free charges for various cell phones, and free coffee :). Have been with these guys 6 years. Seems they work on the Gotcha clause. They told me I needed brake pads. I scheduled the service. They replaced the entire brake system...ALL the hardware. Turned a brake pad job inro a $550 service...and never even told me they were doing it until.i got the bill. Their responce..response... "that's how we do it...we don't just replace the pads." Who the fuck expects an entire brake job when u tell them the bads need to be replaced. Ya'll got me, you know u got me...and I won't be back. Oh yea...their solution...we will put the old o es back on...you know...the 1s that are all dented from being tossed into the recycling. Good job...I hope it was worth it. read more

My 1st time here but certainly won't be my last!! This place is awesome!!! Beautiful comfortable waiting room... fireplace ( virtual).. TV( with remote tor YOU to pick/ change channels) ... recliners... Upfront they let me know the tire rotation is included with the oil change, there may be an additional charge if an extra quart of oil is needed...told me how much that would cost..told me when to expect it all to be done... I used a groupon for their oil change. The location is very hard to find but they were very helpful on the phone. Two weeks after the oil change, while driving back from Chicago, I noticed something dragging under my car. It was a Sunday and the only place I could find to help me was a tire store. When they lifted it up they found the splash pan had come loose and was ruined from dragging. The said the splash pan is removed while having an oil change and it's possible it wasn't put back tight. I have no way of proving this and I could be wrong but that was a very expensive oil change. $400 read more

Horrible experience. Scheduled an appointment for their "Express Interior" service. Watched as the employee moved at a snails pace. There was nothing express about their service because two hours later I was still waiting. The 2 men at the service desk pretty much gave me BS excuses as to why it was taking so long. When I finally got my car back, there were multiple problems (too many to mention), including windows that were streaked and several areas visibly not cleaned. After waiting for over 2 hours, I would assume that my cars interior would be spotless. Far from it! There were even hand prints left. I later sent an email that included photos of the inferior work and never got a reply. I live on the opposite side of town but went out of my way in an effort to support a locally owned (and female owned) business during these difficult times. But I think I would have gotten a better cleaning for half the price and half the time at a chain establishment. In short, Complete Automotive is completely lacking in quality and especially in customer service. read more

This is an update to my previous post. I just wanted to say how very wrong I was about this business. As it turns out, the damage to my bumper was inevitable, as the car had been previously damaged unbeknownst to me or the technician working on my car. Apparently, the car had been in an accident cracking the front bumper in which the bumper had been anchored in with screws, which were then Bondo over and painted, as to not be visualized on the outside, so when replacing the radiator in my car, the damage I so carelessly thought was done by them, was in fact, done by someone else. The owner, Jack, was extremely accommodating, professional, and willing to work with me to get the problem fixed and true to his word, he did just that and I could not be happier with the outcome. It is rare now a days to find a business as well as a business owner that is willing to go the extra mile for his customers and I have to say this will be the only place I will take my car for repairs in the future. Very disappointing experience. I bought their Groupon for $20 for a partial synthetic oil change and scheduled an appointment at Complete Automotive Solutions. When I got there for my appointment I was told that it would cost $4.20, that this was for tax. I have never been charged tax by a merchant before after purchasing a Groupon. Also, I don't know where the $4.20 amount was coming from, at most it should have been $1.60 (8% NYS sales tax on the $20 I paid= $1.60). I tried to talk to them about it and they insisted that they had to charge tax, that Groupon told them they had to. And that they were charging tax based on their "value of the service", not on the amount that I paid. Is this legal? This is nowhere to be found in the fine print on the Groupon. They then ended up charging me $3.08.. not sure how that was calculated... I contacted Groupon Customer Service and they agreed that this is not in the fine print and that the merchant shouldn't have done this, but provided no real resolution. Groupon Customer Service did give me four bucks in "Groupon bucks" (basically like store credit) to use towards my next Groupon purchase, better than nothing.. Also, while in the lobby at Complete Automotive Solutions I overheard the secretary speaking with another customer who was inquiring about the cost of brake. The customer wanted a quote for just brake pads. The secretary and another employee insisted that rotors had to be done with the brakes "because that's how we always do it". I do my own brakes and informed the customer that this is not true, that if you change your brake pads frequently enough, before they get bad, you don't need to replace the rotors too (saves a lot of money). They were just trying to swindle this poor lady... I hope she took her business elsewhere.. Very disappointed... read more

This is not a place I will ever go again, unless I go to complain. I heard good things about the shop. I went. There was an issue or several issues with my vehicle, this I won't know as the vehicle is off the road now. The guy at the front desk told me about 4 times, yes 4 times, that he was working on an invoice for what the mechanics thought was the issue or issues. In the meantime, I had a spark plug changed for a nice low price of $200! I left in good faith thinking that now with a new spark plug my cylinders may stop misfiring. Before I could make it the end of driveway in front of Pixley Road, the check engine came on again! I approached the guy at the desk who told me something along the lines of " well, we really don't know what's wrong, that's why we had to try it out..." I was then told by the same guy he would write up a new invoice or a new estimate...... read more

The price was the highest among shops that do this kind of work, but the work was only mediocre, at best. Lots of places missed on the OUTSIDE of the car (i.e. door frame, etc. where you could see it without even opening the door!), some crumbs, etc. left in the interior that a strong vacuum should pick up, etc. All in all, I won't return: not worth the high price, and it's all the way out in Gates Industrial Park. Trying a different place for the kids' cars before they go back to college in the fall. They have a nice waiting room, which may be important to some people. : / read more

I was given an estimate upon cashing out for rear brakes. Not only did they fail to inform Mr of the supposed issue while I was there waiting with my vehicle, but the price for estimated service was seriously overpriced. Plus, only about 2 weeks prior to this service visit, I had a couple of tire repairs and a TPMS sensor replaced at a local shop which has been very trustworthy, and they showed me the front and rear brakes with the calipers off of the rotors. When I brought this up to the business manager, he got very defensive and insulted the other shop. Plus, there was grease on my door panel when I got in the car after the service. Not to mention that the mechanic who worked on my vehicle was not even an ASE certified tech, but a former car detailing tech. The gentleman who worked on my car from the other shop was an ASE certified tech, and has worked on my car before. In my experience, if someone gets defensive and starts throwing around insults instead of solutions, then they are not a reputable source. read more

I've gotten cars detailed there several times and I've been satisfied with every service I've received. The people who work there are friendly and as a woman dealing with cars I can often feel like I'm being brushed aside but that was not my experience here. I absolutely love coming here. Every staff member is extremely friendly and even though I hadn't been there in a while everyone remembered me and how I originally came there. I had my car detailed and from the first contact of calling when I made an appointment I felt welcomed and like an old friend. When I got there, they were able to start on my car right away. I was able to get the comfortable waiting room to myself and watch tv ( and pick the channel). When my car was done I was brought into the garage to check it out and make sure it was to my liking (It was). I had bought new mats for the car as well and they took them out and put them in for me as well! These guys go above and beyond when it comes to customer service and they deliver in their services as well. My car was spotless and felt brand new. I recommend them to everyone I know! read more

My son attends school nearby (RIT) but we're from MA. This is his first year of taking the car and as luck would have it, he encountered a flat tire. To make matters worse (or increase my blood pressure), the dealer upgraded the mechanism that lowers the tire from the bottom of the car but forgot to put the tool in the car that allows this to happen. To make this situation even better, after Geico confirmed with me on the phone that we had road side coverage before he left, it turns out when he attempted to use it, we didn't. Then came Complete Auto Solutions (CAS)...I was somewhat in a panic state with my son 400+ miles away and unable to assist directly. I'm thankful I found CAS here in Yelp and gave them a call. My son was able to pump the tire up and get the car to them. They patched the tire, he was on his way and my blood pressure is back where it should be. Thank you to the folks at CAS!! I HAVE to give this place 5 stars! Calling or walking in you feel like you're walking into the set of Cheers, where everyone knows your name. They are amazing with everything vehicle related! We've been bringing our vehicles here for years. Now that one of our cars is newer we don't see them as often, but it's hands down the best experience we've had repairing our cars. We are told of any repairs they notice coming up. We can then prepare to make the repair down the road. We have had work done in our older vehicle for everything from and oil change to engine & exhaust repairs. Robin, Nick, Jack and Ted are the best! One day "everything is great and looking good" and the next day "well your car is pretty old" ..... these statements made 24-48 hours apart were very unappealing after I found the part and installation for free at auto zone and they tried to charge me 150.00 for it. read more
