I recently got a new car from a Buy Here Pay Here, so I was (well am, because I'm still checking things out) adamant about getting my car inspected. I noticed a "rocks in a can sound" on the rear passenger side that I hadn't noticed before. So, I Googled "free car inspection" to get my car looked at and Firestone came up. I made an appointment for a same day appointment, which I loved! Making an appointment online was easy and convenient. I made it to my appointment and Darryl greeted me and got me checked in. He listened to my concerns with the car and assured me that they'll find the problem if there were any. Anthony did the car inspection for me. He drove my car around to test it and listen to see if anything was off. He was very through. Darryl and Anthony both came back to let me the results of the inspection. I worried a bit. They walked me to the trunk of the car and showed my where the spare tire and jack was. That was making that noise. It wasn't fastened down all of the way. I giggled and sighed with relief. I asked if there where any other problems and Darryl say no. He said the car was in good condition. It had new shocks and whatever else. He said he could tell the the dealership put money into the car to fix it. Thank goodness! I knew online it said a "Complete Vehicle Inspection" was free. But I asked to be sure. I'm not sure if I got a different inspection, but I ended up paying $9.99. Not bad. Darryl emailed me the invoice and recommendations on things to get done for the car. The invoice was broken up into 4 pkgs. Pkg 1 was complete vehicle inspection, pkg 2 tire rotation w other service, pkg 3 electronic battery check, pkg 4 tire air pressure check. $9.99 was the labor. So, technically the inspection was free. Nonetheless, I'm highly satisfied with the results of the inspection. But, I still have a few more things to get checked like the fluids and what not, as that was not checked in the inspection. Thanks Darryl and Anthony! I appreciate you!

Efren help me in a very timely manner! Took care of the wheel alignment I needed! FJ assisted at the desk professionally! Purchasing the lifetime alignment for my vehicles has been the best value ever! James even helped me get my skid plate put back on properly! Thanks to the Firestone auto team!

if I could give them less than one star I would! First of all let's call out Eric T. He is RUDE & disrespectful and should be fired. If I didn't have a 12 month warranty for my alignment I would have never came here. Let me start off by saying how I got it. I went to firestone just to get my engine light fixed and to see what was wrong so I could pass emissions and I ended up with a $700 bill for my hub cap? My engine light was still on when I left. Took it to cool car auto in phx and got it fixed for $65! SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO TO ANY FIRESTONE! THEY ARE ALL THE SAME. I've been here for almost 2 hrs waiting for my alignment to be done. I finally got fed up and asked how much longer it would take and he said 15-20 min. He said they couldn't I un-tighten my bolts? I know nothing about cars but come on is it really that hard? And why would you have a clearly pregnant mother and 2yr old child wait for this long. I've never been so upset that I actually made a review!

3 hours for basic oil change. You kidding me. Slow service and tried to sell addition service. Worst place.

Sheila was the first to respond, and when she sent over the quote, I almost couldn't believe it. AZ Auto Repair and Body had the best price by a long shot. When I arrived, I was promptly greeted by the owner, Mike, with a warm handshake. Even with a lot full of cars, he assured me they'd squeeze me in -- which was a huge relief. In no time at all, my oil change was done, and they genuinely thanked me for coming in. What really stood out to me was the integrity. Not once did they try to upsell me on anything I didn't need -- no pressure, no surprise add-ons, just straightforward and honest service. That alone sets them apart. This place is an absolute gem. Everyone was warm, professional, and kind -- something that's surprisingly hard to find in the automotive world. This is officially my new go-to shop. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving them a try. You won't find friendlier people or better prices.

Unfortunately, the issue came back not long after. We then brought the car here based on the good reviews, hoping for a real solution. The mechanic said he inspected the car and couldn't find anything wrong except that I needed an oil change and "Honda-specific" spark plugs. He also cleared the dashboard settings, which we found extremely frustrating because that doesn't solve the issue--it just masks it temporarily. At that point, it was already done, and we couldn't reverse it. We went ahead and bought the spark plugs directly from Honda and had them replaced, even though the original ones weren't aftermarket or low quality. Surprise--same issue came back again. Whether it's "higher-end" spark plugs or not, my car continues to have the exact same problems. Honestly, I don't understand why that recommendation was made in the first place. We even spoke to friends who work at dealerships and Honda, and they confirmed that advice was completely inaccurate. The car might be running *slightly* better, but it's like comparing Pepsi to Coke--it's still the same drink. At the end of the day, nothing was truly resolved. At this point, it feels like this is just one of those issues no mechanic seems able to figure out. Disappointing experience all around. Late update, but this happened on July 10, 2025. the only reason i came here was due to the 4.5-4.7 star reviews and the fact that it was near me.

I thought he meant "around the corner" like... metaphorically. Spiritually. Philosophically. NOPE. Homie meant literally. As in, if I sneeze too hard, I might accidentally tumble into their parking lot. That kind of close. My old lifelong mechanics packed-up shop in November (RIP to fallen heroes), and I didn't even get my last-minute, "Hey, can you listen to this weird noise real quick?" visit in before they vanished forever. And look... I'm the kind of person who rides the car hard, then panics when it's been too long because cars need maintenance, and maintenance needs money, and I need BOTH those things to keep existing in this world. So I roll up for an introductory oil change, fully knowing my little green micro machine was running on the automotive equivalent of vibes and stale air. I meet Aaron at the front desk... kind, compassionate, chill, and somehow able to listen to my mechanical confessions without judgment. I hear you don't always get that at auto shops. I instantly felt safe, which is wild. I also hear Frank is The Man™. Didn't get to meet him this time, but if he's anything like Aaron, I know he's out there doing God's greasy work. Oil change pricing? Reasonable. Standard. Didn't make me consider pawning anything sentimental. They told me to come back anytime I needed something... and the way I drive? Oh, I might need to. AND THEN... the plot twist of the century. For the first time in the history of me owning this vehicle, I've never assigned a gender to my car. This one was just The Green Machine. Gender-fluid. Mysterious. Vibing. UNTIL Aaron casually said, "Yeah, she's chugging along." Excuse me? SHE? Was I unaware my green machine is actually a badass chick? Apparently, yes. Thank you, Aaron, for revealing the truth about my car's identity. I didn't name her... SHE arrived named. Anyway, I'm officially hooked. This is my new place. I'm gonna dig out the old mechanic list and bring my newly-discovered automotive queen back for whatever tender love and wrench-based interventions she needs. 5/5. New neighborhood unlocked. Stress reduced. Mechanic found by divine homie intervention. My car has a gender now. What a day.

However, I am very disappointed with the level of expertise and outcome of the visit. My 2014 Jeep compass has had the check engine light on for a week, steering locked up last week, and has had delayed clicking start. Justin arrived, I gave him the full history of my vehicle (no problems for 10 years) and the issues occurring the last month or so which prompted the call. He started running tests, even drove the car around to see if he could replicate what I had been experiencing. About 30 minutes into the visit he said he couldn't replicate any of the issues; that's okay, as I mentioned it only happened about 50% of the time. But he sat in my car another 20-30 minutes or so, told me he had to call his boss because he was completely stumped. Not really what you want to hear, but even I started making suggestions of what it could be so he could at least do something for me. At the end of the visit he basically just said "sorry I have no idea what's wrong, maybe replace your battery?"... the only thing he found was a sensor on my engine needed replacement, but it's totally unrelated to the other issues. I ended up having to pay $150 for literally no better idea what's wrong with my car and not feeling any safer to drive it. It was a huge waste of my time and now I'm out $150, and I still had to take it to another shop that already figured out the problem not even 24 hours later. Save yourself some money and go to a real auto shop. I understand that some technicians may be learning or lack the knowledge to dive deeper, but someone should be going with them to assist so your customers aren't left feeling robbed and confused.
