I slammed another business, so it's only fair that I give kudos to the good guys out there. You may spend a few extra minutes when you pick up your ride, but it's worth the wait. These guys don't see you as an ATM when you walk in the door. They see the value in treating people well so that they actually come back. Loyal customers will make a business a lot of money. They give you discounts and specials without making you print the stuff out. They'll offer you bundles and packages instead of charging you with the regular price over and over again. They even zip-tied the cheap-o fender liners on my old Subaru (if you have one, you know what I'm talking about). The dealer wanted 120 bucks for one; these guys did them both without even charging me a nickel for the ties. How sweet is that? And they gave us an extra 5% off for using a Firestone card. My wife's dealership is great to her for oil changes, but we're hitting these guys for everything else. read more

We have been going to Firestone for 3 years (since we moved to Central Phoenix) and have always had great service. Well today, we received quite the surprise when we were handed a bill that was nearly $350 more than anticipated! The mechanic and his manager discussed with us where the miscommunication was and without debate, they reduced the price to the one we thought we had agreed to originally. It's not very often you find an upstanding company who takes responsibility in these types of situations. We greatly respect the mechanic for admitting the confusion and his manager for remedying the financial aspect. Quite frankly, if we were in the financial position to do so, we would have gladly paid the full bill to reward the professional way they handled the situation. We definitely recommend this particular branch and will be returning ourselves :) read more

Ron is the most pleasant, honest person I've had the pleasure of dealing with at any repair facility I've ever been to. Needed a diagnostic to see where a vacuum/exhaust leak was coming from on my 1998 F250. Ron quoted me $98 for the diagnostic and I had no problem with that as I had just spent almost $1000 at another facility to have some work done and they told me they didn't do vacuum/exhaust leaks. The other facility told me it was an exhaust leak and I'd have to take it elsewhere as they didn't do exhaust leaks. I did some research on my own with the codes the check engine light was giving and found out it could potentially be just a vacuum leak. Ron was nice enough to get me in first thing in the morning and said he'd call when they knew anything. A short time later, he called to tell me they found the vacuum leak and that he would not be charging me the entire $98 diagnostic fee! In fact, the repair plus the diagnostic was less than the original fee! I picked up the truck and it runs like new! It is certainly refreshing to find a place where they are honest, dependable and aren't looking to get every last dollar from your wallet. I will recommend Ron and this Firestone location to anyone seeking to have work done on their vehicle. I'm a fan for life... read more

Set up an appointment for 11:30 for an oil change. Here it is 1 hour later and my car is still sitting where I parked it. Why set up an appointment if you don't respect your customer's time? I do not recommend this place, especially if you are in a hurry. read more

I took my work car in this morning and asked that they take a look because I believe I might have had a nail in the tire. I was told by Adam that it would take 2 hours for a possible $28 repair. 3 hours later I called and asked about my car and they told me they were replacing two tires! I asked who authorized the charges and they said they called our fleet service. I asked that they keep the tires because I did not believe they both needed to be replaced. I was very disappointed that I was not informed of this and the bill was now over $280!!! Adam had not updated me on anything! Just because I'm not paying does not mean you should not call to update me on the time change and the price change! I have been going to firestone for years and this is the worst car service I have EVER received. Adam then has the nerve to ask me to sign off on the authorization! I said no! I did not authorize these charges. I took photos of the tires and kept the tires because I will be taking them in for a second opinion. I believe the tire could have simply been patched and no new tires. However that would not have made them much money off of the government, right! Horrible! No apology or acknowledgment of fault or anything from Adam. I said I'm not signing his response was "whatever!" Whatever is what gets you he negative ratings that you have on this site and your customer service evaluation that will be going to corporate and the second opinion and my complaint to the federal government and our agency not recommending firestone for any our our fleet cars again. Whatever is unprofessional and foolish and should never be stated when a problem exists that is brought to your attention due to your failure to provide quality customer service! read more

We've been customers of Firestone (this location and others) for more than twenty years. In all that time, we've never had a problem. We found a nail in our tire Sunday a.m., called around and found out our 2015 Buick has some kind of rare tire size that no one in the city had in stock. We called our Firestone. Steve confirmed the rare tire issue, but told us he would order them and we could bring the car in on Monday (President's Day, no less) and they would help us -- even though they had no appointments available. Two new tires, rotated the older tires, aligned our front end. Everything done as it should be. We've recommended Firestone to our friends for years and will continue to do so. read more

When I needed assistance from a manager on an issue. He heard my complaint and listened to my complaint, we had a debate but he understood that sometimes loosing a battle wins the war and he certainly will win in the long run because he was able to appease me as a customer. He shook my hand and I reassured him I would still be coming back for more service on my carSS. Thank you Adam. You are a great service to Firestone. read more

The mechanics did a great job they were honest and reasonable. I didn't have the money to fix everything and they helped me prioritize and make my car safe. They didn't talk me into a bunch of stuff I didn't have to do. read more

This location has ZERO customer service skills and no regard or respect for the elderly. At 5:30pm on a Thursday one of my employees (73 years old with a broken arm) came into my office to ask if I could look at his car because his tire had gone flat. When I did, I noticed that there was a large bolt sticking out of the tire. I told him that I had a small compressor in my truck, we would air the tire up and I would follow him the 2 blocks to the firestone at 241 W. Osborn Rd. We walked in about 10 minutes to closing time, let the girl at the counter know that we needed a repair or possibly 2 new front tires, she looked at us like we were bothering her and said that they close in 10 minutes and that we could leave the car and come back tomorrow. I let her know that they were still open and that there were techs available and asked why couldn't they help. She again said they close in 10 minutes. I let her know that Discount Tire has far better customer service and will assist anybody that walks through the door before closing time and in some instances even after. I asked to speak with the manager. She said he wasn't in. I asked her to call him to see what he says. She called the manager Steve McCarthy and he agreed with her lack of customer service and asked us to come back tomorrow. She said that the techs were leaving and that there was nothing that she could do. I asked for the number to corporate and was told that I could find it online. We went outside and I told him that I would change his tire so he could get home, even though I was in dress clothes. We realized that he did not have the correct jack for his car, but were able to make it work eventually. As we struggled for an hour out in front of the store, the rude girl at the counter and the tech that supposedly had to leave do get his kids laughed and had a good time with each other inside. neither of them offered a floor jack or to help us in anyway. This was the WORST customer service that I have ever experienced, especially in an industry where customer service is the key to earning customers. After my complaint with corporate I received a call from the location manager Steve McCarthy the next day. he was very unsympathetic and said that we could have left the car for them to fix the tire the next day. I let him know that the gentleman was 73 years old, had a broken arm and that I was just trying to help him get home safe. He didn't seem to care and asked why I did not drive him home and bring him back in the morning. I explained that we both live at opposite ends of Phoenix and that he was missing the point of the horrible customer service. I asked to speak with his manager. Within a few hours I received a call from Nick Lee who identified himself as the regional manager. I spoke with Nick, he said he was aware of the rude counter girl and asked what he could do to fix things. I let him know that the way that we were treated was extremely disrespectful and that I hadn't been there to help, the elderly gentleman would be stuck downtown without a way to get home. I asked him to take the weekend to think about what he could do to make things right and call me back. here we are 4 weeks later and I have not heard back from anyone. When you need tires spend your money with Discount Tire or Costco where you will get the highest level of customer service. Firestone employees from the top to the bottom don't care about you or your safety and do not care to be inconvenienced with customer service, it is evident in the employees that they hire. Firestone at 241 W. Osborn is Horrible!!! read more

I had my car towed in to have the ignition switch replaced. The total for the ignition switch plus labor was $198. They did a lot of extra work that wasn't needed so the total for the repair was $555. I spent an extra $300 for work that did not need to be done. They did not even test the car before they called to say it was ready. When we left the shop, the turn signals didn't work. They worked before we took the car in. So we left with a bill that was more than double it needed to be, and with problems that didn't even exist before we took the car to the shop. read more

Very satisfied. Honest evaluation and great service. Worked my vehicle in without appointment.

A tire was going flat on my car, so I pulled into the W. Osborn Rd. Firestone Auto Care facility near midtown Phoenix. They took me in right away and put the car up on the rack. The very friendly technician showed me a screw near the center of the tread on the left, rear tire and took the tire off to repair it. One-half hour later the desk agent came to me and told me that I needed to purchase a new tire. The tire on my car had taken a nail in the sidewall and it couldn't be repaired. I asked the agent if he had the right customer because I had talked to the technician and he showed me that the only leak in the tire was coming from a screw in the tread of the tire. The agent said that I was the only tire in for repair. I told him that he better go back and re-check his facts and described to him again what I had just observed with my tire. The agent came back about 10 minutes later and said that they would have my tire repaired in another 15 minutes. A new tire with mounting and balancing would have cost me about $100. The cost of the repair was $19 and change. Two days later the tire is in great shape and has lost no air. "Let the buyer beware." Watch your back with this tire service center and you better know what you exact problem is before visiting the Firestone Tire Service Center at 241 W. Osborn Rd., Phoenix, AZ. See the Nathan C. review on 5/23/2016 for a similar problem he had with this business. read more

Had such a great experience today! Had to make a yelp account solely to write this review! I needed help changing out a headlight, Santana helped me get in and out so super quickly and made it so easy! Thank you! I had also gone to this location for an oil change and they were super quick and friendly. These are my new go to guys! read more

This location had bad service I scheduled an appointment for 9 AM they didn't start working on my car till 50 min later and they did not follow my instructions which I made very clear from the being I still got charged for services that I didn't ask for or approved. So a tire replacement that should have taken 45 min tops took two hours and after the service was done Tom the service advisor still did not explain any or the services that were done to my car I had to ask what all was done to my car and why. Sad to say I have account here and I will be closing my account do to their poor service and time management. read more

Adam was kind and professional over the phone and did not make a big deal over rejecting "recommended services". everything was completed in a timely manner and the woman who processed my payment at check out was very friendly. 3 stars only because I realized my auxiliary cord was missing when I got home. it could have been CENTRAL TOWING's doing (towing company referred to by Firestone) , but no way of telling. I know it's a cheap item but when something has been taken from your vehicle after you spend a good sum of money for services, it is very disappointing. I will mention same issue in CENTRAL TOWING review. read more

Got a flat tire that they wouldn't patch it even though it was in the middle and not on the side. Took them two and a half hours to fix it, sat around forever waiting for them to finish. While they were fixing it they broke my tire pressure sensor, told me they didn't have the part, but would call me when they had it in, three weeks go by and noone contacts me. I go back in to get it fixed they tell me that they never ordered the part because I never called and set up an appointment. Noone told me I was suppose to call them, they said they would call me. Tire pressure sensor is still broken. Will not be returning to this location. Staff is incompetent and unhelpful. read more

Will NEVER take my car to Firestone again. I took my car to the location on Osborn and 3rd street three weeks ago for an A/C check because it sounded like my compressor was going to fall out. They came back saying it's working properly, "recharged it" and guaranteed work. Took it back the next week to check for leaks because it was still making a HORRIBLE sound, they say no leak everything is fine, still did not sound right even though the mechanic himself told me he wouldn't put his wife in the car if it wasn't working right. Well guess what happened in Phoenix, AZ, 105 degrees. My compressor went out. Obviously I didn't need to be a mechanic to figure that out!!!! ON TOP OF THAT ... my Serpentine belt snapped where it was obviously melted in one spot, killed my power steering and car instantly. Adam, the service manager, implied I may have taken a blowtorch to it. Now tell me how or why in the world would I do that to my own car?!? The last mechanics working on my car were from Firestone!! Oh and I googled it (thank you, Google), 'the Serpentine belt is a normal part of an A/C check. The Serpentine belt will snap if the clutch on the compressor goes out.' Looks like they missed something. Thank God this didn't happen to me on the highway!! Still waiting for the District Manager to call me back. Not holding my breath. read more

A first time Firestone costumer. Went straight to this location after another business in the same area tried charging me $200+ for an oil change on my VW Beetle! The gentleman at the register was Tim Murray, he was friendly, honest and didn't try to sell me a single add on. Here, I payed close to $20 due to a promotion that was going on. Tim made my experience a great one! Will definitely be back :) read more

Let me preface by saying Tim was very friendly and down to business, which was great. And even on a backed up day, they got my flat repair done fairly quickly! In all fairness, I was rushing when I picked my car up, and probably should have double-checked their work, but also - who checks their auto mechanic's work? Especially when you're not a mechanic yourself. I got about 3 blocks away when I noticed the squeaking, but drove several more blocks before determining it was my car, not the one next to me. When I pulled over, I found 2 lug nuts weren't even finger tight, which was slightly disturbing. Thankfully I knew what to do, but it just made me think about people who maybe don't drive with their windows down and wouldn't hear the sound or wouldn't know how to fix it or feel comfortable stopping on the side of the road to fix it. Moral of the story - I'd definitely go there again, but check your lug nuts before leaving the repair shop!! read more

Ryan was very helpful, definitely coming back. Great and convenient service!

I had an outstanding experience here. My Chevy Cavalier was towed to this location and needed a new engine. This is a daunting, nerve-racking and financially challenging, not to mention unexpected experience for anyone. This location quoted me half the price of my local mechanic and made it clear to me this would include everything, and included a 12 month warranty on the remanufactured engine. The incredible part is that they were able to locate AND install the engine in 3 days- and one of those days was a Saturday! That's right, 3 days. I returned my rental early and picked up my car well ahead of schedule. Oh, and they replaced my windshield fluid reservoir free of charge so now I can clean my windshield again. Wow. Who does that? Kudos to Santana, Steve, Adam, Rachel and Alex. So impressed. If I could give this business (and the people who work here) 10 stars, I would. read more

Hit a curb in my GTI and got a flat. Stopped by here expecting a long wait, but Adam and Ivan took the tire right away and had it fixed good as new in no time. Will definitely be back next time I need my car serviced. read more

Bad experience today. Had a nail in my tire. There was plenty of tread, but she gave me a series of false statements in hopes of selling me a new tire. Then, she quoted me $29.75 to plug the tire because "We must replace the tire pressure monitoring system at the same time". False again. I went to a nearby tire shop and had it fixed for $10 in 15 minutes. I won't go back. The store on Thomas Rd has always been good. I would avoid this Osborn location. read more

Overpriced!!! $30 for a tire patch? Went to Purcells, got it done for 15. Everything else was close to double price as well. Might as well pay mom and pop if you are gonna pay that much... read more

This was the first time using Firestone. My car was in need of an oil change and two of the quick change places were unable to get the oil filter for my car. I called Firestone, they said they could order the filter and have it there the next day. I made a 10am appt for 5 days later. I showed up on time, sat in the lobby for 45 minutes to find out they hadn't ordered the filter and had to send out for it from another store! So a simple oil change that should have taken 30 minutes tops, took an hour an a half and cost $120 dollars!!! Total lack of respect of my time and money. They are conveniently located near my home, but no thanks, I'd rather drive the extra miles for better service. read more

I made an online appointment for 6:30 this morning since I wanted to be into work by 8. I end up going into the shop at 6:15 in the hopes that they would get my car in sooner. But the manager in the front told me that they wouldn't be able to get my car in until 7:30. What the hell is the purpose of an appointment??? The manager said, "Well if you made the appointment online that's probably why it allowed you to make the appointment so early. We have four cars in for service at the moment and only one tech.", I just decided to leave since there is no way I would make it to work on time. read more

In a tough spot with a complex repair. This location came through with flying colors. They went out their way to find the most affordable alternatives to a repair that required multiple parts vendors and trying possible remedies including part reworks. Honest. That quality is hard to find. Could of taken my ASU student to the cleaners. They gave time estimates when most would have just gone the easiest route of quoting maximum time which would have been in line with a repair this extensive. All the staff are helpful and interested in customer service. The service manager, Tod, is a man of his word and knows his business of complete auto repair. read more

My daughter purchased 1 tire from them and all was well so when her right passenger brake seized up and needed fixing we brought her car in again. BIG MISTAKE. Jay tried to sell us all 4 brakes and all of their components for $1000+. After we said we could not afford that he said he could do just the back brakes for $700. His fast talking and confusing sales pitch is a savvy tactic to try to get you to miss the details. We refused service and towed our car to Big O tires and they said Jay was definitely trying to deceive us, only the back brake pads and rotors needed to be replaced. We paid $387 and she was back on the road by the end of the day and they showed us everything that was good, what needed to be replaced and they didn't try to charge us $1000 or $700 for our trouble. NEVER AGAIN!!! Letters off to Corp. Headquarters, BBB, and Attorney General. read more

I set up an appointment for a quick car inspection. I was told it would take 45 minutes. Two hours later and I'm still waiting. Not happy, not coming back! read more

Can I give zero stars? Will never come here again, no respect given to a customer for their lies and crap, just a robotic "Sorry about that". They are "too busy" to simply start service on my truck even though I had an appointment at 9am (in which I was there before hand) and I was told by the liar that "helped" me that it would be done before 5pm (in which I said I would be there at 5:30pm just in case). I get there and after an awkward couple of minutes (pretty sure that liar realized that they failed to provide the service they stated would be done by 5) I was told that my truck was next. Next? Why was I scheduled for 9am yet my truck wasn't looked at- oh and it was a flat tire that needed fixed/replaced in which I have a warranty on it being a customer of theirs for a few years. Then the liar had said it was up on the lifts earlier but for some reason the employees took it down and that's that. That's a lie, the truck is still in the same parking space when I parked it there and everything (flat tire, jack, etc was not moved an inch) is still in place. That is a lie. Do not make up stories for your inefficiency to provide service as promised. So I guess I should've sat there and waited for them to "finish" service that was told would already be done but unfortunately I have a life. If I would have shown up at 6 or after that my truck would still have been parked there without even being looked at. ALSO - no phone call the entire day from anyone and they have it, confirmed it with liar at 9am. In conclusion-took my keys, told them to F off and will NEVER go there again. Poorly ran Store, do not care about customers - even those of us who have used them in the past to screw us. Just some advise to whoever runs this location- I would recommend training your employees to be honest, respectful, and inform your customers if there is a delay in service even though your employees said it would be done before the customer said they would be back to show up. I'm just hoping one of the other Firestone stores in PHX can provide an ounce or customer service/respect that that location failed to do so since I am under warranty for my tires with this respected company (hard to type that without laughing). read more
