Dustin listened carefully, took ownership, and walked me through the process step by step. He kept me informed the entire time and did not let me leave until everything was working perfectly and I personally saw the resolution. His professionalism, calm demeanor, and customer-first approach made all the difference. He even went above and beyond by checking my fluids and notifying me about a nail in one of my tires. They are dishonest here. I've come here three times since I've been in town. They "penny pinch" every dime out of you. They're telling me that I need new break pads (when I didn't ask them to inspect anything but my tires.) after I just supposedly had my break pads changed by the local GMC about a month ago. I'll be investing GMC here further, also. Also, one of my sensors isn't turning on for my tire. They claimed the sensors should've been reset after the tire was changed. Yet, they didn't do it, even after I spoke with them. Instead, they came with a different explanation saying any of the sensors could be dying or out even if my car is telling me there's something wrong with another sensor entirely. So, they want to charge me for two new sensors that aren't even the one sensor my car is indicating that something is wrong with. The place is kept unclean, as well. The touch screens are never clean and the bathroom is gross. read more

We took my old Civic there to be checked because the brakes stopped working and they were super honest with us about it. We then took a used car we just purchased for them to look at, and they totally saved us! That car had so many things wrong with it and they said it wouldn't have even passed state inspection. Their advice saved us from thousands of dollars and headaches with a car that was majorly misrepresented to us. We were able to exchange that car for a different used car. Now, knowing that the dealership that we got it from was super shady, we of course wanted them to check it out for us as well. They gave us very detailed information and advice. After paying for a 99.°° inspection and doing the 1500.°° in repairs suggested at a Florida firestone I expected to breeze through the Maryland state inspection so I took my car to firestone in Bel Air M.D. They said that the car was in need of 1800.°° in repairs and the parts were in today if I was intrested. That's impossible! It sounded like the same work I'd already had done in Florida with in the same month and under warrenty. read more

I usually go to firestone in bel air because it's closer to my apartment; however, after leaving work on 5.22.19 and stopping at IKEA white marsh really quick, I came back out to a dead car battery. I had to get roadside assistance to give me a jump and get to this firestone. I was concerned because they close at 7 and it was almost 5:30, so I called to see if they'd be able to help me and the guy who answered the phone (Georgio) was so nice and reassured me that as long as I got there before 7, they'd take care of it for me. I ended up getting there maybe at 5:45-6 pm and Georgio ended up being my service advisor. He was really nice and personable, explained everything they'd do/check upfront, and gave me an estimate of cost. They were able to replace the battery for a good price and within maybe 30 to 45 minutes. After a long day at work and dealing with a dead car battery in the heat, I really appreciated their service here and even though bel air is closer to my apartment, I can see myself coming to this firestone instead! So much in fact, that I have an appt here tomorrow to look at another issue with my car! read more

This place is a complete JOKE!!! Avoid at all cost!! I took my truck here due to the motor going up. I had a very expensive watch stolen from the middle compartment of my vehicle by one of their criminal employees! There was no reason for anyone to be looking through my vehicle at all. The work that needed to be done was on the outside. Management and their corporate offices were no help at all!! I filed a police report, but the place don't have camera's, so that won't be much help. I'm in the middle of filing a lawsuit against them!! Find another place to go! Had a great experience here. I ran out for some last minute Xmas gifts and got a giant piece of metal in my tire. I realized this at noon on Sunday 12/23. I went to Firestone bc they were closest to me and my tire was losing air fast. I was afraid they'd be too busy or even closed and we'd be left without a car on the holidays. Mike couldn't have been nicer. He quickly checked out my car, gave me some options on tires (since the one my car had wasn't in stock), and explained the differences. He told me my car would be done before they closed at 5pm. He wasn't kidding because despite a full bay of cars - my car was completed by 2pm. They did a great job. Although the last thing I wanted to do this close to Christmas was buy a new tire - he made it easy and painless. We will definitely go back! read more

**THEY WILL TRY TO STEAL YOUR MONEY LADIES**** I had my car towed here after breaking down on a busy road. They gave me a quote of $1100 and told me it would take a week to fix because they'd have to order the part. Thankfully I called my dealer who told me they had the part on hand. I arranged to have my car towed to the dealer, and when I showed up at Firestone, my car was parked in the same spot it was left in, and they battery was dead. Part of what was wrong with my car was it would not shut off as the transmission was stuck in neutral. So rather than unhooking the battery, they just let it die, and did they even ever put it on a lift?? Who knows. So I tow it to the dealer (with all the Firestone mechanics looking REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE!) and they tell me they can fix it for.....wait for it.......$270. YEP. $270. WTF Firestone?? But thanks to Firestone allowing my battery to completely die- I now have to buy a new battery. I am utterly disgusted and the shadiness of this place. I may be a woman, but I'm not an idiot. How DARE they try to take advantage of me and my money that I work DAMN hard for. I will scream it from the rooftops to NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO FIRESTONE!! Big mistake guys, HUGE. read more

Complete incompetence and time wasters! Made an online appointment 2 days in advance. They call me the day of the appointment and tell me that they just got the appointment and they are too busy so its gonna take at least 3 hours, even after I explained I made the appointment days ago to avoid this and that I needed to wait for the vehicle. The tell me some nonsense about how Covid is slowing their services down. I say fine I will be there on time. I get there and they tell me that they cannot install my TPMS sensors because I didn't buy them from Firestone. Then they ask if I bought them from Tire Rack, because if I did they can put them on. I said the parts are the same OEM parts no matter where I bought them! Then they tell me that they can't even install the tires because they came from another retailer. Nowhere on the website does it say they don't install parts from other retailers! This is just a giant money-grab scam from a bunch of thieves. First they can't stay on top of their online scheduling, and then they are establishing policies that don't seem to exist on their corporate website! DO NOT RECOMMEND! read more

Dropped my car off, called them, they said it'd be an hour, called back in an hour and the same thing until the car was ready around closing time. Thought I'd give them one more chance when it came time for my next oil change. Similar situation happened again but this time only 4 hours. Will never return read more

I took my car into this location for front brakes and a rattling noise in the rear. They replaced the front brakes and resurfaced the rotors (no problem yet). They then stated the rear pads were bad - although I had just had them replaced. They said they had put new rear pads on without charging me (???) and that the rattling had been from the brake pads. I paid the invoice and then two days later the rattling came back so I returned to this location and they said they made adjustments and all good. Two days later the rattling came back, but worse, and I returned to this location AGAIN and they said the brake clip was broken so they replaced it and stated - "by the way you have a power steering leak and you need to get that fixed". Needless to say, I did not agree to fix the alleged power steering leak AND the rattling is back. I won't waste my time returning to this location! read more

So I've been faithfully coming here since we moved here and I have always totally been satisfied. They've usually been able to take me in without an appointment. I would just call beforehand to make sure I could get in. Usually, no problem. Well for the past few weeks, I've been trying to call on the weekends and keep getting told that there were no openings. Today, I got suspicious that this Ashley person was not being honest so I drove over to empty stalls and techs sitting outside on their cell phones or inside watching the Ravens game. I figure that I could get in, but I was told by Ashley that there was no way I could get in for an oil change. It was about 345 on a Sunday. I told her that they didn't look busy and she said that there are appointments on their way. So I leave, just so irritated and determined to write this review. I take a picture of the empty stalls and sit in my car to start writing. Well, funny thing, all of a sudden THEY DO have an appointment! ! Must be my lucky day. Sounds like she figured I was going to complain AND I get a special on the oil change. Oh and I was lucky because she asked someone to stay late to do my oil change. I'm sitting here waiting for my car to be done and hmmm...no other appointments are coming in. Oh and my tech has walked in here to check the Ravens score during my oil change. Smh so unprofessional. I hope things change when it's time for me to get more work because I'm going to start looking elsewhere. It's a shame because I was always very happy here. During a brake service, my car was hit by a deer that caused front driver's side bumper damage, which I requested be fixed by the dealer due to the braking and parking sensors in the bumper.  I was grateful to initally get a rental car, but then was told to return it, since the car was driveable.  Since I was informed that it was my responsibility to get an estimate to fix the car, I took off work to pick the car up and take it in for the estimate.  When I got there, I was told I could not get my car back until I paid for the brake service.  I had incorrectly assumed I would not have to pay for the brake service until the car was fixed from the accident.  I refused to pay until I knew the car would be fixed, so Firestone ended up driving the car to get the estimate.  Corporate is now dealing with the claim, and although I was told I'd get a rental car when work was being done, corporate has not returned calls or emails.  I wish I had more money, but this year has been rough financially, and I cannot afford to take ubers to recurring doctors appointment that are needed for my family.  I get this was an accident, and that Firestone still wants to get paid, but I thought their focus would be about making this right first.  The car is still at the dealer, and I am left without my car, a rental car, or any communications back from corporate. read more

Last night, my wife's Toyota Echo check engine light came on. This morning, they did a diagnostic, replaced a vacuum hose clamp, and didn't charge me a cent. Said they couldn't charge me for such an quick job and a 40 cent part. They even waved the 99 dollar diagnostic fee. read more

Don't expect to have your tire repaired here. I went to Firestone Service Center in Perry Hall MD to have a nail in my tire repaired (no air leaking). After waiting for over 30 minutes, they told me the tire's tread depth was too low to repair although the nail was in a repairable position. I said just patch or plug the tire and they refused stating it was unsafe to repair and "corporate policy" prevented them from fixing the tire.  I explained it was my son's car and he planned to replace all tires shortly (once he returns to town).  I just wanted them to repair it.  They again said it was unsafe and corporate policy prevented a repair.  I explained I had a plugged tire on my car and it has been effective for over 30,000 miles.  The District Manager was at the store and asked how he could satisfy me.  I said they need to repair the tire as I aked.  He declined to repair for the same reasons. Luckily, they did not remove the nail.  I drove the car down the street to another repair shop and they repaired my tire in about 3 minutes. I must admit this is the second time within a month that a Firestone store declined to repair one of my tires due to "corporate policy" (even though the nail was in a center tread).  Both were fixed at other repair shops.  Now I know better; they are interested in selling tires not repairing them. My recommendation, don't go to Firestone to ask for a tire repair.  Based on this poor service, I will not be buying Firestone/Bridgestone tires again. TK read more

I have been several times for tire service and every time there are different people working there. This time I was very disappointed with their service - Car would crank but not start for several days, finally got it to start and took it there for their "no start diagnosis". They said that they could not "duplicate the problem" and that every time they tried, it started fine and told me to come pick it up. When I asked them what they had actually checked under the hood, i.e. electrical, spark, fuel delivery system etc. they kept repeating that it was starting fine over and over again as if not acknowledging that a problem existed meant that they didn't have to deal with it. I don't think they did even basic tests. What a waste of time taking it there. read more

Ok for brakes, tires or oil changes, but beware otherwise.....Case one, had a cylinder misfire, they said take it elsewhere for engine work....It was simply a faulty fuel injector as diagnosed at the other shop....Case two--- took car in for overheating problem---they change thermostat and flush radiator for $250......Car then overheats WORSE that night. Took it to another repair shop the next day---they diagnose it as a DEAD FAN. They cant believe Firestone missed that one. It gets worse---car is fine for 3 weeks now with the dead fan replaced, then starts overheating at random times. The regular garage says fan is working fine...They replace the water pump for $320....No change---car still overheating that night....Take it back to shop and they EXTRACT the Firestone thermostat from the month before----it was sticking closed!!!!....So Firestone replaced my OK thermostat with a bad one apparently the month before.....Thanks for NOT seeing the obvious dead fan and switching a good thermostat with a bad one!!! You cost me 2 thermostats and an unnecessary water pump replacement by simply NOT diagnosing a DEAD Fan.....Case 3---I take car for oil change and tire rotation......Half hour before leaving I plug the right front tire. Get home after the "tire rotation" and guess what---plug is in same tire on front of car. Really??? I calll and manager says tech says he rotated tires......but tires were still in the same place because I had two different brands on front and back.I spent 20 mins plugging that tire before going there--and the fresh plug was there......When taken back later---at least they really rotated them....Marked tires don't lie.Like I said before, Beware!!! read more

WORST PLACE EVER! I have been here before was never treated as I was this time this is the last and FINAL time I will ever go again. My husband calls to schedule an appointment for 4 new tires even orders the tires to be certain they are there and to get a price so we don't get sticker shock,everything was fine arrived at scheduled time at 3pm. Was asked several times if "I was dropping the car off" was not sure what that meant and when questioned a not very nice young lady stated to me "dropping off means you pick up tomorrow morning" I said "what time do you close and was told 7pm" I questioned if tires could be done in 4 hrs and was told yes. So at 7pm when I had not recieved phone call we went there my car was in the bay no tires on the car at all and then guess what! THEY DID NOT HAVE TIRES THEY TOLD US THEY HAD. So 4 hrs later my car on a lift with no tires the nice mechanic says it is our error and to make it right for you we have rental cars here i can have you use one for tomorrow and we will get tires put on at same quoted price just need to get ok from manager phone call made and we were refused to get ANY assistance from manager. I have never had such horrible customer service. I will never use this place again and will let everyone know of my experience. read more
