And as the saying goes, three strikes and you're out--but honestly, I'm already out. If a shop can't meet its own timeline twice in a row or the quality most Big O locations offer, the problem isn't my expectations; it's their scheduling, communication, and quality.

They have always been very clear about what is included in my oil change. They check my tires, lights & turn signals. They have offered additional services, like windshield wiper replacement, but with zero sales pressure. And, they figure out how to turn off that obnoxious "service" light that every new car makes impossible to reset. I love that I can stay in my car throughout the service and take off as soon as they are done.

So far, Autosport Werks has given me confidence in their team, but time will be the true test. I brought my 2016 VW Tiguan in for an oil leak which turned out to be many oil leaks and and a couple of knock-on issues. The repair job was very expensive, but my comparison shopping told me their price wasn't terribly far off from what I could expect elsewhere. In the few weeks since that work was done my windshield washer pump has gone out, which does make me a touch suspicious, but given how old the car is I guess I can't be too shocked about random parts giving up the ghost. Their team has been very nice and patient with me and my many questions. They've been transparent, breaking down the quote for me when asked and making sure I understood what they'd found and what they were proposing to do to fix it. The piece that gave me the most assurance was that they offer a four year warranty on their repairs, which I can't imagine any shop would do if they were fly-by-night. So far, so good.

Otherwise, I will not be filling out a generic customer service form. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We purchased tires from Discount Tires from this location in Dec 2024 for my Tesla and we made sure to purchase 4 warranty certificates for $274 (Branden V was our salesperson). I barely put 5,000 miles on my car per year as I work from home full time. My husband does tire rotations for me so we never had the need to bring my car back to Discount Tires. However, we noticed there was a staple in a tire as my pressure light was on. My husband brings my car in today and they refused to honor the warranty that we had purchased because there were no tire rotations on file and claimed our thread wear was too close to the limit. They refused to help us with the staple unless we purchased new tires. My husband who knows cars very well can tell the tires do not need to be replaced. If we had known that tire rotations were required to be at Discount Tires and had to be on file, we would have come in every few months for a rotation. However, that was NEVER disclosed to us when we had purchased the warranty. Mind you, my husband also used to work at Discount Tires years ago and he has never heard of tire rotations being required for them to honor warranty certificates. We will be taking our business elsewhere.
