I have been using Discount tire for 35 years. I have been in the Auto repair business for 48 years. I recently went in to get new Michelins for my car. Josh helped me figure out proration cost to replace and told me to come in next morning at 7:50am. Went back next morning and talked to Jake. He said he can't find receipt. Mine was in my car and faded so I had nothing. I called CJ the manager and he could not find anything and said he could do nothing. I had gotten 1 set of continentals and 2 sets of Michelins from Discount tire but nothing showed up. This company used to be great but are now Greedy Morons. I went to Costco who does mounting and balancing for free and also gives a 5 year Road Hazard warranty for free. So in the end I saved $250 by going to Costco. Destination wedding, rental car, flat tire. We had less than an hour to get this tire fixed to get to the wedding and not only that, we had to leave early the next morning for our flight. So this HAD to be done now. We didn't come in. Demanding all this, we just came to the desk and met Jeremy, who walked with us to check out the tire. I am giving this two stars because I'm happy that my tires were changed out. However, everything surrounding this situation has left MUCH to be desired. I have never lived in a snowy climate, and learned that I could get winter tires and store my all-season tires. I went through this process in November. Long wait times, but to be expected; I guess this is going to be my reality every 6 months now. In the beginning of May, I called Discount to get my all-season tires out of storage and on my vehicle before my child was out of school. The told me that they would call me when they had my tires and were ready for me to come in. Three weeks later, I had not yet heard from them, and now my child's school year had ended. I called them and was told that they had LOST my tires. Mind you, this storage was a service I was paying $170 for and now they could not locate them. I got a call back in the next few hours telling me that they think they had found them. I set up an appointment to have them rotate with my winter tires and for those to now go into storage, but as we were on summer break, I had to wait 3 more weeks until my child was in camp during the day. Fast forward to today, I came to my appointed time, had the tires switched, and learned it would be an extra $92 for the service ($23 per tire to switch). They were able to do this within the hour, and I headed off towards home. I was about 6 miles away from Discount when my low tire pressure light dinged on. Isn't this something they should be checking when they are replacing my tires and I'm paying $92 for the service. Very inconvenient and I had to stop at a Brakes Plus on the way home to have my tire pressure adjusted. read more

I parked in the crowded lot and walked inside, seeing TONS of customers and dreading I'd have to wait awhile, but one of the guys told me to drive around the lot and follow the Free Air Check signs. Aloha Wednesday just arrived into Colorado from Maui. My daughter calls me.... Dad I have a nail in my tire, almost out of gas... Keys please! Quick stop at Costco Gas for a fill up, Costco Tire Center is booked solid until Sunday! Quick Yelp search and Discount Tire catches my eye! A quick call and I'm dialed in for a complete set of tires TODAY! I arrive 30 minutes before closing time and the garage bays are busier than a bee hive. However, one of the Sales Representatives looks me up by phone number (back in the day when I had a 300 Chrysler lol) He quickly updated my info and has me set up to be taken care of in 30-45 minutes. I give out a grateful sigh a relief and ask for directions to the bathroom appropriately marked Male/Female/Family and return to their waiting area equipped with m comfy padded chairs. Approximately 25 minutes later "James" one of the Mechanics walks in and greets me explaining that my car is ready! Wow! With Receipt & Warranty in hand I wave goodbye and thank them for a FIVE STAR YELP EXPERIENCE that I will be posting TODAY! The owner smiled and let me know how much they appreciated my comments! During these hectic, post pandemic, challenging times. It's always great to know you get a little 5-Star Yelp from a local business like Discount Auto! Tip: I also got their added lifetime warranty protection at an additional cost. They will fix or replace your tires for the life time of the tire. I came in with expectations of having to replace all 4 tires on my AWD vehicle (tires that are only a year old) because of a razor blade that pierced ONE tire beyond repair. Zach was able to help me quickly and professionally and was able to determine that I only needed to replace the one tire which I had under warranty! Thus saving me a whole bunch of money! For the cherry on top, he was able to locate my exact tire at another store and get it delivered same day! Stopped by to make an appointment and they told me I could get it In today. Went back home picked up my car and dropped it off at 11am. They told me it'll be done by 230. They called at 330 (I'm assuming at this point they were just an hr behind and it's done) to tell me they are checking me in and it should be done at 9pm... I ask to speak to the manager and explain the situation and he apologized and said he'll get in in right away saying it'll be done at 5. Don't hear from them so drive by at 530 and the car hasn't moved tires aren't done. At this point I'm not okay with the service and when I go in ask for the manager all he has to say is a fake sorry and I'll get it into the next bay. Will not be returning. Since I drive alot, I'm bound to encounter a road hazard. One day my tire warning light came on in my vehicle and turns out I had a nail in my tire. I went here and they got me fixed up and back on the road again. I don't know if it's because I was a former customer and purchased a set of tires here before or they just do it for everybody but they didn't charge me for fixing my tire. I made an appointment to have my tires rotated. I bought the tires from this location in 2021 at this same store shortly after I bought my car and have put 25,000 miles on the car since I bought it. The young man who checked me in, walked me out to check the wear on the tires and told me they were worn too much and I needed to put new tires on and that rotating the current tires would do no good. I said no to the sale and said to to rotate the tires regardless. I came home and used my tire tread depth gauge and all 4 tires had more than the minimum tread needed for safety. The tires are made by Yokohama. Shouldn't tires last more than 25,000 miles I asked? He did not give me a response. I own 8 cars and Discount Tire gets more of my business than the average customer who has one, two or maybe three cars. I realize that they are in business to sell tires but don't treat me like I'm stupid and sell me something I don't need - it's unethical. Highly recommend! From the moment I contacted Discount Tire at West 92nd and Wadsworth in Westminster, they were friendly and professional. I first contacted them to obtain a quote. They provided me with information quickly and it was a very competitive price (comparing with other companies). I made an appointment for a few days later and when I arrived at the store, they were ready for me, provided me an update on the tires, and an expected install time. (As much as I hate to comment on the COVID Pandemic, I do want to say that this location provided ample seating for customers waiting for their tires - both inside and outside - and all seating allowed for the proper social distancing.) When my car was ready, they ensured I had not additional questions and I was on my way. They were very busy on the day I had my tires installed, but they never made me feel rushed and took the time to answer any questions I had. My wife had a small screw in my tire and sent me a picture, so I suggested she stop in to have it inspected and plugged. It was in the tread, nowhere near the sidewall, and a fairly simple job. They tried to sell her 4 new tires for $1300, telling her that only replacing the rear tire could "damage the drive train" because they didn't have a matching tire. I wouldn't recommend this shop due to predatory staff that tries to exploit people who don't know better. A shop close by internally patched it for 3% of the cost. read more

I had brought my vehicle in several times for a tire rotation and low and behold I ended up with a bald worn inside of the front tire because they were not actually rotating my tires. That was the only one that was out of alignment. People here have went down in quality. People people people make or break any business. This discount tire use to be our go-to, but I've noticed that their level of attention to detail, or just attention to just about any work has gone way down hill within the past year. It all started with my husbands GTi, they were suppose to mount new tires then drop off the car at Brakes Plus. We ordered the tires in and had an appointment for mounting. After 6 hours of not hearing back from either party, we stopped by and was told that car never made it to brakes plus, but then no body at discount didn't bother to call us to come get our car either. Then they scratched up the wheels bad and denied it all the way. Couple months later I brought my car in to switch from summers to winters. When I picked up my car, I double checked to make sure I have everything, luckily I did, because my summer set of lug are no where to be found. I talked to 3 different people and they all told me "oh it's in your car", "oh it's in the back seat", "oh it's in the trunk"...............turns out it was sitting on a pile of junk in one of the bays. Then just today, I dropped off our FJ to tire rotation. The guy specifically asked if we want the spare to be put into rotation, to which I answered yes. The receipt even said "5 tire rotation", yet 2 hours later after I got the vehicle and got home, I noticed the spare was NOT rotated. Luckily a Les Schwab opened up around our house, maybe it's time to find a new tire center. read more

I came in to have a screw removed from my tire. I knew there was a screw in the tire, I could see it. I was told by the technician that they couldn't find the screw. They had taken the tire off and soaked it and found the source of the leak was the air valve which they said they fixed. I thought this was suspicious and ask them again about the screw and was told again that there was no screw. I hesitantly left, when the technician got snippy about it. Four days later, my tire pressure is once again low and I can still see the screw in the tire. I'm so frustrated that this wasn't resolved. I had made an appointment, and was willing to pay to have it fixed. Not only was I just brushed off like I didn't matter because I wasn't buying new tires, I was straight up lied to. read more

The staff is very knowledgeable and professional. Their stores are very clean, and modern. Their tire selection is good and prices are decent he lowest that I've seen.
