Robert is the store manager and made no bones about giving me two new tires after I had had my snow tires switched out for regular tires last week and ended having some issues, possibly caused by the mounting. He took a look, knew I was nervous about the old tires and just decided to make it right with me and gave me the new tires for free. They/he is a standup manager and I would recommend this shop. My wife stopped by to get a tire repaired because it had a leak. She had already filled it up just to make it to the shop. When she asked for help, the attendant only checked the pressure with a gauge and told her the tire was fine. She explained that she had to refill it twice that same day, but he dismissed her concerns, insisted nothing was wrong, and told her to come back the next morning. Extremely frustrating experience. When you're dealing with a clear issue and need your car ready for work the next day, the least you expect is for someone to actually listen and take a closer look. Went in for an alignment on my 2001 Audi a4. After just replacing the front tie rods and boots I took my car DIRECTLY in for an alignment. Probably a 3 mile drive on them to the store after installing. They call me at the end of the day saying that they could only complete the rear end alignment as the front tie rods were seized and need replaced. So I picked the car up as I needed it for word the next day.. still had to pay full price on the full alignment btw. Ended up jacking my car up at home and broke the tie rods loose which were not even close to seized or hard to loosen there was still dirt all around the bolt like it wasn't even touched. I ended up taking it back to Firestone a couple days later for the front end alignment and they told me they completed the job and the measurements looked good so I picked it up. Well like 3 months have gone by and I haven't been under my car until today. Noticed that the front tie rod boot is completely twisted and starting to tear in spots. This is only possible if the mechanic didn't loosen the boot clamp when he adjusted the tie rod for the alignment. The mechanic just completely twisted the boot with the tie rod and thought that was okay to go! Extremely disappointed in this location. Brand new tie rod boot completely trashed. Didn't even last 4 months thanks to Firestone. read more

Firestone is an authorized repair vendor for my company's fleet. I had a tire pressure light come on and saw there was a nail in one of the tires. I called to make an appointment and had a great experience getting that all set up. I went to the Firestone at the end of my day to drop off my vehicle. I arrived about 3 minutes early, and waited in the lobby. Waited some more. No Firestone employee came into the customer area for over 12 minutes. One was on the phone inside the shop, the phones were ringing all over. All I wanted to do was drop off my vehicle. That's why I made the appointment. Finally got it all worked out, left the shop nearly 25 minutes after my appointment time. Picked up the vehicle next day. Turned out I needed 3 new tires. Firestone replaced the other one 6 weeks ago. Had a long wait to get out as there was some problem now with the PO #. 10 minutes later I asked if they could figure that out without having me wait. The service rep was very nice and accommodating. Got in the van, and the Tire Pressure warning light came on.... All I could say is WOW. And the inside door handle area has black greasy paw prints. Thank you for that! I'm not sure if I have the time to bring it back to fix the light. I need this vehicle for work and so far I'm not very impressed with the customer service on the front and back end of the experience. read more

My husband for whatever reason kept taking our van here and it would get worse and worse with each "service!" The last time we supposedly got the breaks and rotors done (for like $1,000), which is a TOTAL ripoff, they didn't fix anything. It was even worse and SHAKING violently! Then they were going to "inspect" my daughter's car and do an oil change for $100 and they convinced her (this shows their character that they also think women are stupid and to be taken advantage of) and that turned into nearly $800 for what? We still don't know. They "decided" she needed whatever and wouldn't release the vehicle until they did it! It's also a very new car with low miles! Also, they always want to keep your vehicle for DAYS if they can! Lastly, I found out my husband had the credit card with them of which there was a $2005.00 balance. I told him we're paying it off and NEVER going back there! We submitted the payment and they took that out of our bank account PLUS another $2005! So they STOLE an additional $2500! I've never even known a credit card company that could take an amount over the balance?! When my husband called them the first time they said it would be refunded within a week. Well a week came and went and he called back and they acted like they didn't know what he was even talking about lol and FINALLY after "researching" they said, "oh it does look like an overpayment, but it takes 40 days to get a refund!" UNBELIEVABLE!!! Luckily for them the money posted about 8 days after that call, but I was ready to take legal action against them! I will NEVEEEEER step foot into a Firestone again! read more

One of the worst experiences I've had in a long time, was told the work would take a day or two then they held my truck for almost 5 days after I told them I rely on it for work and didn't complete about half the things they agreed to do. Had to call continually to get updates after being told they would let me know what was going on. Bad customer service. Won't be going here again. read more

BEWARE!! Especially with Antonio at the front desk and Daniel the technician. Lazy procrastinators, will hold your car as long as possible, and will create false inspection reports to get you to change parts that do not need changing. Took my car to a small business instead, had my car back on the road within 10 minutes and showed me that the piece Firestone quoted me to change, was perfectly fine. Make sure to check their work to ensure it was done, or better off avoid Firestone. Needed a spare put on in place of my flat tire, they held my car for 3 days, didn't honor my service time, and at 6 pm they quoted me 400+ to change my wheel hub that I discovered later needed no changing!! A small business up the road had me back on the road within 20 minutes of showing up. read more

Took my car to this Firestone twice. Sent me away both times without fixing my tire. The first time they showed pressures of 35-35-35-25 and said they fixed a nail in one of the tires that had 0 pressure loss. They had it for 2 hours each time. Took it to Big O and they found the nail and fixed it in less than an hour. It's been over a month and the tire is in great shape. On top of that they were a far more organized shop. If you value safety and have a tire issue, don't go here. Guess I should have hopped on yelp first to review ratings. read more

I ordered tires from Firestone online and set up an appointment to get them installed. When I arrived they said they were unable to honor my appointment time and would need to reschedule for the following week. They then said their cheapest tires were over $200 more expensive than what I ordered from their website and would need to pay for the increase in price. I ended up canceling everything and I will be going somewhere else from now on. read more

After standing inside waiting to be helped, I was told that they couldn't work on changing a tire because they only had 2 technicians and 2 cars to work on, it's 2 hours before closing. What tire shop can't change a tire in 2 hours. Smh. Oddly, I was able to go to discount tire close by and get it changed within 45 minutes of them closing. THESE GUYS WILL CUT CORNERS!! Had to set an appointment for an oil change, after taking 2 hours to do the work they provided a fake checklist of items that they claim to have checked that are included with the oil change. One of them is tire air pressure, they left the air psi values empty on the sheet so I could tell they had not checked the air pressures, since my vehicle takes 80 psi in the rear wheels and 55 in the front I always ask because most shops will fake some numbers for their fake checklist instead of leaving them blank like Firestone does. I asked them if they checked and how much air they put and the guy just went and hollered across the shop "yeah I did it" The guy came back into the office and says "yeah you're good" these guys are clearly cutting corners and don't mind doing it in front of you. I'm not going back and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

There was miscommunication between our car warranty company and Firestone. The warranty was supposed to cover $230 of the repair cost, but when we picked up the car we had to pay the full price. We went in to speak with the manager about it a few weeks later and he was very helpful. He refunded us the full amount that the warranty was supposed to cover and corrected the issue. We were very thankful for his assistance. The manager is Alex Ames at a Denver, CO Firestone. We will gladly work with Firestone again in the future. read more

I think my favorite line from the useless person who helped me was, he came in after the guy who helped me. COOL STORY! Is it your first day too? Do you guys not communicate to each other? I have purchased my tires with the warranty and had service done at Firestone for 40 years. I had a flat and took it in for repair. I know I didn't have an appointment but I didn't make an appointment to get the nail in my tie either. I left the truck for the day figured they could squeeze it in. I called at 5 and they said it wouldn't be until the next day which caused me to take a second day of work off. I was wishing I hadn't spent all the money on the warranty and instead spent the $8.00 for a tire repair kit and done it myself in 10 minutes. They have a sign saying it's under new management but they don't seem to be managing their people very well. I am not sure who is worse between them and the store on 104th and Melody. On 3 separate occasions they took me for a ride, one on A/C repair on my Chevy Equinox costing $1,100 for something they quoted me $400, two - their brake job on my 2005 Rubicon failed 6 months later & they refused to fix it, third - they quoted me $1,150 on a frontend job on my 1971 C-10 that didn't even need it for tire alignment, Lake Arbor did it for $85. For years my wife and I have taken advantage of the fact that there was a Firestone Complete Auto Care store within 5 minutes of our house (2996 West 104th Ave, Denver, CO, 80234). We've taken our Cadillac and Mercedes to that store since we moved into the area in 2014 for a variety of help, including tires and oil changes. On September 23rd, we had our Cadillac Escalade taken into the store. I talked with the manager, Louie, about the repairs. He told me that the total cost would be about $630. More on that in a minute. Ultimately, my truck needed a new battery and a new starter. I was ok with the cost of the battery, but the starter is another issue altogether. I despise being fleeced by an auto shop, and that's exactly what happened. The team installed a Duralast DL9947s starter and charged me $324.99 for the part. This is utterly ridiculous. I can buy that part for $171.99. I could have installed it myself in an hour. But I was ok paying their team to do it for me to save the time. But really? The $153 they made marking up that part was worth it? I sure hope so. We will be taking far more value than that of our business elsewhere from now on. Then there is the issue of the total price. When I spoke to the manager, Louie, I asked what the total cost would be, and as I mentioned earlier, he said $630. To my surprise, when I get to the store, the total cost is $672.55. Why, when someone asks what the total cost is, would your manager decide not to give the actual TOTAL COST??? I was lied to. Directly. Then when I go to pay, I am forced to sign a clause saying "I acknowledge notice and oral approval of an increase in the original estimated price." I never acknowledged this, I was never told it would cost more than what Louie told me it would cost, I never approved this, but your company extorted me and wouldn't release my truck to me unless I signed that clause. EXTORTION. I contacted corporate about the issue and promptly received an email from the Area Manager, Katrina. She said they would be happy to refund me a portion of the total cost. I responded with "First, what refund difference are we talking about? The difference in the pricing of the starter? The difference in what I was quoted versus what I was forced to pay? Both? Second, I think there is a larger systemic issue with the way pricing information is related to customers that is aggressively misleading that needs to be addressed with policy and training. I can't/won't sit idly by when I feel like I am being extorted to take possession of a vehicle that I own. Thank you for responding so quickly." Never heard back after that. They must really like one and done customers. I contacted corporate again and they said they'd reach out to Katrina, and like before, nothing. Shame on these people. Take your car needs elsewhere. read more

When I had an oil change in a previous visit, the Technician put the drain plug back in without the proper seal/gasket. When I discovered oil on the garage floor I immediately took the car back. One of the Service Writers, (won't put his name in here, have included it in my review to them) was accommodating, although he gave me several excuses. He was able to get the drain plug seal/gasket and had it put in. As I was saying, it was like he had to come up with an "excuse", so he told me the oil pan gasket was bad and leaking. Why didn't they tell me that at my original visit? I did return and have them do the oil pan gasket, although I believe that was just an excuse. I could have said no, I thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. It is a 10 year old car. **I will be watching and getting a second opinion on anything they tell me moving forward. read more

The Firestone at 104th & Federal - Northglenn/Federal Heights Good intentions (?), incompetent mechanics. The services I have had at this place: Please diagnose and fix my car's inability to start: Diagnosed it as a bad battery connection, replaced the connections. The car started but 18 hours later I was stranded with same problem and they had to come tow me. Then replaced starter (apparently not a new one, but refurbished?). 2 days later I was stranded again and they towed me again. This time replaced the battery. A day later, same issue and they replaced the starter again. Thinking everyone may make a mistake now and again,and trusting these guys are who they say they are (with all training and such), about a year later I take my car in to them to have my( front) MacPherson struts replaced. Since that time, the right one chirps constantly when encountering any bump. On top of that, they did some diagnostic on my rear shocks that I DID NOT REQUEST, and ever since then, they leak. I never had leakage from my rear shocks prior to that time. I went to the dealer after this, and they said my front struts were improperly installed, and that the seal on the rear shocks had been tampered with. Do not go to these guys. I hope to believe they were trying to do the right thing, but if so, they clearly do not know what they are doing and so you will not get what you think you are paying for. read more

I recommend you stay away from this shop if you have a VW. Their technicians have seriously little skill on the platform or just want to do the least amount if work on your car as possible. Now I will give them the benefit of the doubt and suggest that I could be a perfectionist when it comes to my car but when things start to affect my fiancée's car it gets a little more personal. Please read my experience and decide for yourself. I went to Firestone for several years now however never with a VW. My previous car was the Cobalt SS Turbocharged (yes turbo! 2008-2010 they updated the car from supercharged) and previous car before that was an Acura Integra. They worked on both those models without any real issue. I didn't have much to complain about and when I did they fixed it no problem. I decided to go VW and went back to Firestone. They stripped my oil pan during an oil change. Had to get a whole new one. What bothers me is it was leaking pretty bad and they still sent it home with me. I took it back and they had to keep my car for days. What's inconvenient about Firestone is they don't offer a rental service like dealerships so I had to rent a car at my own expense. I had purchased a lifetime alignment plan on my VW CC when I had it initially inspected by them. Every time I do an alignment they cannot get my steering wheel straight. They tell me it's a dealership thing. The dealership needs to straighten my wheel. So essentially I wasted the money when I signed up. Why offer something if they can't complete the work and can only half ass it? I am forced to take my car to a VW dealership or a VW specialty shop to get aligned properly if the steering wheel is off. If I just need my wheels straightened then it's fine at Firestone. My fiancée's Passat has been in there several times for reworks. An oil change that they reused the crush washer and it caused leaks. Power steering hose that they forgot to put on, the skid plate was installed incorrectly. It ended up falling off during a highway drive, lug nut caps were forgotten about, etc. That was the last straw for us. We will never step foot in Firestone with our VWs again. Like I said before they did fine on my other cars, but VW is clearly outside of their scope. Or the technicians are still learning and may need more experience and attention to detail. Either wait coincidence or not we can't give them another chance. We have given them plenty. read more

We went to Firestone for an oil change and power steering leak. Got our car back and the shocks were shot to the point the car was undriveable. They were giving us the run around and hit us with a $3.5k quote of everything that needed fixing. They are unwilling to work with their customers and only care about money. I'm done dealing with these people and the district manager. I'm going somewhere else that cares about their customers even if that means paying full price or a higher price. That's how much I don't want to deal with them. Do not bring your car here; you might leave without shocks. read more

They will have it you sitting in there all day long for one simple thing that only takes about a half hour. They do not honor warrantees either. Have purchased tires for both my and my husbands vehicle(s) at this location. I shopped around for the best price prior and was able to price match. I originally bought tires for my 4Runner and the girl who helped me was really nice & genuine. I went back over a year later for my husband's tires and was helped by the same girl (wish I could remember her name) again, great experience. One perk of the purchases was free tire rotations which I scheduled at ease one night on a drive home recently. I haven't had any work done by the mechanics (take mine to dealership), but I really don't have complaints about my experience. Maybe, long wait for tires to be put on (1hr) but I kinda expected a wait bc it's obvious the guys are busy-you can see them working away from waiting room. Waiting area slightly dated, but clean and a TV if you feel like watching. read more

The dirty bastards put a few of my lug nuts on backwards! About a month ago I got my tires rotated and I recently swapped out the tires to find out that the lug nuts were put on backwards and only like two on two wheels so it's not like they just didn't know. The fuck is this shit! Then when I was going to have them put these new wheels on the guy was so rude that I took my fucking business elsewhere. Definitely avoid Firestone, especially the one on 104th and I think federal blvd. I will be going in to get a refund. read more

Horrible do not go here ever!! They did work on transmission lines and overfilled the transmission causing it to leak from lower seal due to pressure. They also did work on front axle and tried to sell me a brake job. Decided to buy the brakes myself and it. When I go to do the brakes I find the front right caliper has one of the bolts stripped out. Reported both issues to Firestone corporate, they refuse to take responsibility for either saying I can't prove they did it. Sad thing is a new caliper and bolt cost about $50.00 and the tranny just needed fluid pumped from it. They list a customer for life over an easy fix to their mistakes that they refused to own up to. read more

My mini Cooper was due for an oil change, I was really happy that there was a place less than 5 minutes from my home. I made appointment online and was able to get appointment the next day. I was happy when I arrived cause my cooper takes special BMW oil and when I asked what they would be using they new exactly what my car needed. I was also happy that it only took 1 hour to do. It wasn't till I picked my car up that things went South. I already knew that I needed tires and I told the guy at the counter when I dropped my car off, cause I knew they would stress on the need for them. When I was paying the technician was standing behind the counter with I think was the manager and neither one of them went over the checklist with me but they both mentioned how I need tires. Wasn't till I got home and looked at my paper work they recommended that I should change my carbon air filter. If they would of called me and let me know I would of ok it but they didn't. After the oil change that same day I noticed my car was running differently, no power when accelerating, and a rattling noise had appeared. My best friend came over and I asked him to drive my car and he too noticed the same thing. He pulled over and popped the hood and checked my oil, while he was doing that I noticed that the cover to my air filter was not bolted down and the cover wasn't on all the way, so we found the rattling noise. After tightening the cover my car had power again and no rattle. For whatever reason the technician didn't complete his work he stood there telling me I needed tires, nothing about the replacing of air filter. What's more upsetting is while I was waiting as they did my oil change I applied for the Firestone credit card so I could get a set of tires, after being approved I couldn't get myself to go back there, and trust that everything would be done right and I would feel safe after they put the new tires on. I then decided to go through the Firestone on Melody and ended up having a worse experience there. All I can say is don't expect them to explain anything, ask, ask and ask questions make them explain what they did before you pay, make them go over the whole checklist they did and everything they did to your car. Don't do what I did and assume everything went great cause they didn't say anything to you when you pick up your car. Your safety and your cars needs don't come first just the money does!!!!! read more

I had a good experience the first time I took my car here for an oil change and tire rotation. The last time they missed several things... my car had 120,000 miles and the sticker they put in my window said I was due again at 170,000, they didn't reset my maintenance required light inside my car and they checked none of the fluids but said they did when I asked. I was going to give them the benefit of the doubt and try one more time since they seemed to do a good job the first time and they are conveniently located but I have now scheduled three online appointments only to get an email saying my appointment has been cancelled with no explanation . I scheduled online yesterday evening ( Monday ) for Thursday and email said it's been cancelled. I won't be trying again and will search for another place that actually wants business. read more

Came here for a new set of wheels in September, I think I was truly in and out in 30 mins!!! For four tires!!!!!! Very helpful and nice staff working here. I popped my front tire the other day and just now came back for my second visit to have it changed. I was helped quickly and they did a great job. I feel terrible for forgetting the name of the lovely lady who helped me, but she worked reception and was wonderfully kind. Going to an auto place when you (very obviously) don't know much about cars can be daunting, but it couldn't have been more pleasant thanks to such a helpful staff- even helped me out with my reimbursement claim with no problem! Also the lady helping me even took my old tire out to my car for me and placed it in the trunk since I had to hold on to it for my claim, she was amazing. Will absolutely be back for any tire needs!!! read more

These guys are classic car guru's over there. 4 guys I talked to owned a classic, chevelles, nova and camaro. I took my 73 Nova over after being to 2 other shops that couldn't get the job done correctly. They were able to get it to my desired specs and took great care of something that means a lot to me. It was great to deal with "car" guys and know it was in good hands. Travis was especially attentive and great to deal with. As long as they are around I'll bring it here for alignments. read more
