I can't say a 5-star rating can be given for every Firestone in the area, but I will give one to this one due to its manager, Tom. Like every business right now he works closely with his team and even when they are spread thin he will jump on the line and start getting his hands dirty to keep things moving and getting vehicles in and out. He takes the time to explain the "why" for things when he is doing evaluations on your vehicle, especially if you're not a car aficionado. He is trustworthy, fair with pricing and wants to build a long-term relationship when helping with your vehicle, so that you keep coming back through your years and your cars. He's also always very responsive and often handles the phones to make sure he's understanding your needs and asks lots of good questions to make sure to try and diagnose some things ahead of time before you bring it in. read more

This discount tire is terrible! don't ever go here they will scam you! I went here on Tuesday, they told me I needed new inner and outer tie rods. they charged me $85 just to look at my car. they said I could get it replaced and done for $434. I said no and I left. My stepdad who is a mechanic was going to help me replace them. the parts costed ($100). When we took finally we're getting ready to fix it we realized they completely lied! I did not need to replace the inner tie rod. I compared all of the new parts we bought to the parts that they said were "bent" and needed to be replaced. you can clearly See nothing is bent. I am so mad. and if I would have gotten this done they would have scammed me out of $649(before tax) without me even knowing. they were going to charge me $131 to do my wheel alignment. I am absolutely so mad! I am calling corporate tomorrow because this is absolutely ridiculous. hopefully this steers you away from ever going here! read more

made appointment for Wauwatosa Firestone 10/27 @9am. Went to pick up car at 4:30, (they close at 6), and car was not even worked on. Attendant say they were having staffing problems. If the attendant said we are short staffed today, I would understand and found another Firestone dealer. Not happy, but will try one more time.... read more

Now we all know an alignment takes at the most about 20-30 mins if that. I came to this location at exactly 8:04am for the alignment. I was told it would take 2-3 hours only I was told it was "a couple alignments ahead of my car. 2-3 hours go by, then I call and they say "your car is next to go on the rack". I call back at 1:19pm and then say "it's on the rack getting worked on". Moral of the story it's been 5 hours smh. read more

I can not say enough good things about this Firestone, its management, and employees. We had an emergency situation arise while we were in the area from out of town. I called the shop and Tom offered the help so I desperately needed immediately. When I arrived he greeted me with kindness and compassion and made me feel heard. He jumped into action to fix my tire issue and walked me through each step. If you need a place to take your vehicle I would highly recommend you take it to this shop! Thank you again for all your help read more

This was my first time at this location, and wow I am impressed! In total I've spoken with 3 different guys there and each was so helpful, kind and patient! Couldn't recommend this location enough! read more

Had a appointment at 12:00 was asked if I could bring the car in early. Could only get there by 11:00, so dropped it off then. Was told it should be done in about an hour and a half. Came back around 1:30 car still not done was told it was next and should be about two hours. So came back around 3:30 car still not done! So waited in the crappie waiting area and they finally got it done around 5pm. I had bought these tires on line so they were payed for. They had the nerve to tell me I owed them another $1.50. He'll no you made me wait all day your not getting that. The manager let it go and gave me a free oil change but still do you think I'm coming back! Ah NO! read more

We drove up from Chicago on a Saturday and started hearing a scraping noise when we braked. We had gotten work done at the dealership a couple ago so we wanted to make sure everything was okay. We walked in and they were swamped. There was no parking anywhere in the lot and the phones didn't stop ringing the whole time we were there. Patrick was extremely friendly and helpful. The work was completed on time and at a very reasonable cost. read more

I'm always taken well care of. Tom always makes sure that the job is done and done well. Very thorough.

Who fucks up a tire rotation?!? Fwd vehicle you're supposed to do a "forward cross pattern". Instead they just did a "front to rear" swap. Like come on, I learned how to do a proper tire rotation in high school and your techs can't even figure that out. Also trying to up charge with a battery and other crap that's not needed. 95$ for a diagnostic look up. Come on, now. If you have a check engine light, go to auto zone and they'll run your codes for free. Avoid the 95$ diagnostic fee these clowns charge. Then the manager gets a snoopy attitude with me when I say I don't need a new battery, it's just been replaced 6 months ago. I should've just did my rotation myself. Hell, I have to do it at this point anyways. read more

The hours on this business stated they were open until 7:00pm. I arrived more than a half hour before closing and the door was locked. There were multiple individuals inside the business but no one would come to the door. I simply needed my tire looked at. If no one is willing to work a half hour before closing there should be a sign on the door stating this. read more

Tom, Is extremely friendly and helpful. He and his Staff Does a Great Job, will keep Going Back to him

Communication is lackluster at best here. After the first attempt at oil change and maintenance I was forced to return to firestone as my traction control and ABS systems seemed to no longer be working. Forced to call to get any updates on the situation even after multiple days in the shop. Misquoted time for pick up costing me hours at my job when if known it would take longer than 3 days to replace a reservoir hose and tire sensor I would have gone to rent a car. Would not recommend with a company vehicle as they seem to milk the time and add tires to cost at servicer's whim read more

With being a young female I always get worried about getting ripped off by car shops. I decided to come here a couple months ago for an oil change. I had great service and was treated with respect. So, I came in again last week to get some other pricey repairs done and the two men that helped me were so great. He walked me through everything that needs to be done and took time to set me up with a payment plan. Not once did he try to up-sell me on anything or convince me otherwise. I felt very safe and for the first time ever I was able to go to a car shop and not feel stupid. I will definitely continue to recommend this place and hope their business continues to thrive! read more

I'm really glad I chose this place for my oil change & tire rotation. Most of the drive up places end up taking forever so I made a last minute apt here, they had everything done in under an hour & weren't pushy with any further service, they did alert me of some things I might want to look into & gave a full price list. The man who helped me in the lobby also gave me the current coupon deal w/out asking or having one printed, a savings of $15. There's also some decent places to shop across the street so you can kill 2 birds with 1 stone if you are in a time crunch. Overall probably the most positive car service experience I think I've ever had. read more

60th & Capitol. I wanted an oil change. This has been always my go to place. Usually quick & courtesy service but NO, not any longer. The guy told me he could schedule an appointment next week or week after. It's an oil change! 30 minutes or less & you choose to schedule out?!? I will no longer refer or do my business here. Straight bogus! read more

This location seems to be a keeper. I've had issues with other locations where they don't want to take coupons and insist on up-charges. My power steering was squeaking and I assumed it needed a new pump but these guys didn't squeeze me for unnecessary repairs. The belt was simply warn so they replaced and tightened it back up and got me back on the road! read more

This past Saturday morning while making the 430 mile trip from Toledo, OH to Appleton, WI my 228,000 mile 2002 Cadillac DeVille stopped running on a Milwaukee interstate. 5 Stars to the Prairie Land Towing Company as they were responsive and recommended this Firestone operation for repair. Tom, Mike, and Jesus were all very courteous and got me up and going. It turned out to be fairly serious as the fuel pump failed. Eric was the technician who got me going. Thank you Eric! An unexpected weekend breakdown of this magnitude has to potential to cause serious misery but the boys at Firestone minimized that for me and I am grateful. read more

The Manager and his people will always tell you straight. Good fast service. You can't ask for more in a repair shop

** Women Beware ** extremely female negatively biased store manager Tom , my Husband was able to get in within a few hours, where I wasn't for 3-4 days !!! For the exact same service, exact same car . 10 min time. Difference!!! Will never go here for any service! read more

Terrible customer service and completely unprofessional. I scheduled my appointment for 10am to get an oil change and brake Inspection. Set my preference to have it done preferably the morning considering its only 2 things to do. I was told when I dropped my vehicle off that the inspection would take the bulk of the time however my car would be at least looked at by 1. I come back purposely at 1 in result to only wait maybe 45 mins top maybe an hour , my car was never looked at to start off. It was left in the same spot I parked it in so they haven't even looked at a it yet and after sitting inside the facility after 30 mins a guy notices me and they finally pull my vehicle in. Time goes by and it comes around to 3:30ish car still isn't done , 4 o'clock hits they give me the run down what's wrong I paid for the inspection and oil change. I was told it would be about 10 mins for them to pull the car back out , 30 mins later the manager comes and tells me they are just waiting for their technician to get back he had left to picked up child/relative from school. so my car was left still Hooked up because apparently nobody knew what they technicia had unfastened from the inspection so now I'm waiting for this individual. Doesnt show til 15-20 mins after the fact so now I've spent a grand total of almost 2.5 hrs in the store waiting for an oil change and brake inspection that should've only took an hour tops to do and that they choose to do at the last minute because I wanted to sit inside the facility! HORRIBLE .. read more

Great. Really good service, great experience. I had my oil changed, tires rotated and balanced. I'll be going back for my next service for sure. read more

I use this Firestone because Tom has an exceptional staff that is frindly and does quality work at a great price. Their time frames are accurate and they never over-promise. The 27th st. location is centrally located in Milwaukee to be convenient for most and worth the drive for everyone else. read more

Very friendly staff, I went to get my four new winter tires place and they were soo nice and patience, answered all my questions that I asked. They were up and beyond... A+ will definitely go back there when I decide to get my all season tires!! read more

I drive a little further to go to this Firestone location because the staff is way nicer than the Firestone closer to me. The other location turned me away because I didn't have an appointment. Here they are friendly, efficient and even spoke to my mom on the phone for me about what had to be done to the car. They're open on weekends too! read more

It's always great when you find a business that is really willing to help you out and go above and beyond. Michael helped my track down faulty tire pressure sensors and did so with a smile. So very helpful. I'll definitely be back when it's time for new tires. read more

Very helpful, honest, and cordial staff. They always gave their honest opinion and even saved me money. I'm very pleased! Still a happy customer; updating this to 5 stars. read more

Did not do what I asked them to and made excuses when called out on their mistake. Manager was rude (I think he was trying to be sarcastic half the time but it didn't come off that way) but all other staff members I talked to were helpful. Asked to have 2 front tires replace but instead they replaced the two tires on the right side of my car(which goes against all common sense). At least they corrected the mistake, but not without some sassy comments. I will not be going back there. read more

Jesus and Mike were hands down the best sales men I have ever encountered. We got a flat on a Saturday and after being told the earliest we could get a new tire was Wednesday by several places, Jesus sat on the phone with me until he found a solution to fix the tire on Sunday. The tire was fixed quickly and when we arrived to pick it up they were incredibly friendly, accommodating, explained everything to us and made it the best experience possible. I will never go anywhere else for car repairs. Thank you for making a crappy situation so much better read more
