    Disappointing Experience with a Few Bright Spots - Be Cautious with Fastone Auto Service I brought my car to Fastone Auto Service for repairs, and while it was eventually fixed, the experience overall was frustrating, time-consuming, and left me feeling that the $1,200 I spent wasn't truly worth it. The biggest issue was their initial misdiagnosis. I came in twice before they finally figured out what was actually wrong with my vehicle. For both earlier visits, I was told the issue was likely the battery, but even after dealing with that, the problem persisted. It wasn't until my third visit that an Indian manager stepped in, took the time to properly inspect the car, and correctly diagnosed a starter failure. Once the starter was replaced, the issue was finally resolved. While I appreciate that this manager was detail-oriented, honest, and even helped price match to save on parts, the fact remains: I lost a lot of valuable time and went through unnecessary back-and-forth due to earlier missteps. Even though the car is now working, the whole process was inefficient and exhausting. Another major disappointment was the customer service -- particularly from the female manager, who appeared to be in a leadership role. She was consistently dismissive, unfriendly, and showed little interest in helping customers. Her attitude made a frustrating process even worse. In contrast, the Indian manager was the only person who showed real professionalism, explaining the issue clearly, consolidating labor charges, and trying to make the experience as smooth as possible. To sum up: * The car did get fixed -- eventually. * The Indian manager deserves credit for doing things right. * The service prior to that was poor, and customer care from the female manager was even worse. * The misdiagnosis led to multiple visits, wasted time, and unnecessary stress. * I paid $1,200, but the overall experience felt unworthy of the cost. I sincerely hope the management at Fastone looks into these issues -- particularly the inconsistency in staff attitude and the lack of proper diagnostics in earlier visits. I'm sure I'm not the only customer who feels this way, and others likely have similar stories. This shop has potential, but it's currently being held back by internal problems that shouldn't be ignored.

    Every Firestone shop I go to always have good customer service. The customers service representatives here really know what they're doing. Ms Bernadette is very accommodating and helpful. Saman is very helping and thorough as well. They both made sure my car is ready to go for my trip back to LA.

    My tire being patched at Firestone in Milpitas, CA

    I had a very slow leak in the left rear tire of my Camry. It lit the TPM lite on my dash, but the pressure went up due to a short road trip. Since it has Firestone tires on it and I was in the area, I stopped in to get it fixed. They found one of those big staples, with one leg, that went into the tire. It was barely visible. It was close to a previous puncture, that already had a patch. They put a 2nd patch on it. They were hoping it would hold. It has now for a few weeks after. The name on the work order was JACOB. Not sure if that was the office manager or the guy who did the work. They saved me from having to buy a new tire!

    Unattended keys

    Service here is ALWAYS behind and customer service is ALWAYS lacking here. Waited over 10 minutes at the front desk where MULTIPLE customers keys were left out unsafely. Was not greeted when seen waiting. Was ignored and employee walked back out into service area.

    Another exceptional visit to Great Mall Tire Outlet with Frank!!!…read more With my tire pressure light being lit for about a week, I finally made the time to take my car to the gas station I frequently visit. Thankfully I made the visit sooner than later because my tires all measured 10-15 notches as being underinflated by what the recommended levels were. With some help, I was able to add the appropriate air into each tire but came to a road block with the driver side rear tire. Air would not enter, nor would the amount of air measure with the air thingamajig. Naturally, I PANICKED!! I immediately assumed I needed a whole new tire, or worst- an entire set!! I hopped in my car and immediately drove out to see Frank. No lie, this place is a revolving door full of customers. If that doesn't confirm how knowledgeable and trustworthy this business is, I don't know what will. Even on an early morning Tuesday, my arrival was met with an estimated 1.5 hour wait. Come patient and come ready to be 100% satisfied. 5/5 Stars for always being such a big help. I'd be the first to admit that I am absolutely CLUELESS when it comes to cars|tires- I choose to come to Great Mall Tire Outlet because the staff knows that they are doing & they do not take advantage of patrons like myself.

The only thing to note is that it can sometimes take a little while since it's often just him running the shop. But honestly, that just shows how dedicated he is, and it's 100% worth the wait because he makes sure everything is done right. If you're looking for someone trustworthy who does great work and provides excellent customer service, this is the place. We always recommend his services to friends and family who need help!!

I arrived at 9:28 AM for what should have been a simple tire repair, yet my vehicle was not even serviced until around 11:30 AM. Waiting over TWO HOURS for a basic tire fix is completely unacceptable. What made the experience even worse was the terrible communication from the staff. Nobody gave clear updates, and the front desk personnel clearly saw me sitting in the main lobby for over an hour, yet later claimed they "never saw me" or didn't realize I was waiting for service. That level of disorganization and dishonesty is unbelievable. I was left sitting there wondering if my vehicle had been completely forgotten. The employees acted like my time meant absolutely nothing. If your shop cannot handle the workload, then stop overbooking customers or at least have the courtesy to communicate honestly. Customers should not have to chase employees around just to get a status update. This was one of the most frustrating and unprofessional service experiences I've had at a tire shop. I will not be returning, and I definitely would not recommend this location to anyone expecting decent customer service or basic respect for their time. I went to investigate and it was near the oil filter housing it attaches to. drove it to Exact motorsports to have them evaluate, and Sandy & John were helpful in diagnosing the problems. They seem to be very knowledgable with the toyota/lexus platform. They gave me a reasonable quote and I left the car with them. They also mentioned it was probably due for new spark plugs, and a new valve cover gasket so I had them throw that in there as well. When I picked up the car, it drove much more efficiently and no more leaks! Turns out it was a broken O ring. I enjoyed that experience, so a year later (Nov 2025) my belt was squeeking a lot in cold weather. They were able to diagnose and swap the belt to a new one within a day or so. No more squeeks in the cold mornings. The best part about exact is that its a mom and pop, locally owned shop that doesnt put you in a upsell, pressure environment. They tell you what you need, what you dont need, and what are nice to do but not urgent so you can make your choices for the best quote. I will be going to them for any future needs for my Lexus, and have been recommending them to my friends and family for the same purposes.

She always give you an option of using OEM or quality aftermarket parts, and provide quotes so you can compare and find what's best for your needs. One time I noticed my engine coolant reservoir to be completely empty. I emailed Sandy for advice, and she fit me in the next day and advised me to buy Toyota coolant and top it off before driving. After dropping off the car, they immediately found the radiator is cracked and needs to be replaced. They ordered parts and replaced the same day. They even help arranged a ride to a nearby car rental shop. They truly go above and beyond for their service. My first review was about replacing struts. I went with Sandy's recommendation of using aftermarket struts (KYB brand). 10 years later, I can positively vouch for her recommendations. The strut has held up well over time.

I dropped the car and went to lunch. Got a VM that said my right rear wheel is bent and they recommend that I replace it ASAP. I called back to understand what happened. The person who picked up the call is very arrogant. He told me the wheel is damaged and they can order original factory wheel for me or I can buy their stocked wheel and it will be cheaper. I asked if they can tell me if there's a picture or he can describe the extend of the damaged. He said the car has been dismounted and will be extra work with them if they need to take a picture. He said wheel is not expensive if we buy from them and 4 set of their in-store wheel is cheaper than buying from bmw. I thanked him for the suggestion and I said I'm going to try to fix the wheel at a place I know. He then switched gear and asked where am I taking the wheel to, is it the place in Santa Clara (why would they care where am I taking the wheel to??). He used a judging tone and asked me "so you still want to drive your car ?" He said this is dangerous and can't be fixed and has to be replaced. He's also insinuating that the new tire can't be installed because the wheel is damaged. I asked him if he can mount the new tire and I'll decide when I'm back at the shop on next step. Back from the lunch, I went to talk to a different person in the counter and he asked me if I heard about the bent wheel and I said yes, I got the VM and called back earlier. He was nicer than the guy on the phone. He was also trying to convinced me to buy new set of wheels and I declined and said I would like to see if can be fixed. His coworker (I think that's the guy on the phone) said to me that wheel is not expensive and he was trying to show me the pricing on the screen. I declined and said I'm not planning to spend more money after the $1800 I spent on set of tires. After being able to get out of the upselling scene with American tires, I drove over to a shop in SJ to see if the wheel can be fixed. The dismount the tire and I get to see the wheel. Yes, it's bent and definitely need repair. The people in the wheel shop told me this not to bad, they should have it done within an hour. I waited and get to see what it looks like after the repair. Overall, I spent $150 fixing the wheel. I'm disappointed in the Brokaw Americas Tire team. I feel some high pressure upsell during this visit. I feel the person I talked to on the phone misrepresented the condition of the wheel (that it can't be fixed) AND giving me the impression that the tire can't even Be installed back and the only way out is to buy new set of wheels. Really disappointing..

    Last Thursday, one of our tires got a flat (the same tire that the company had worked on). We took…read moreit into Luna's Tires and they had to fix the broken rim that had caused the flat. The employee said that it was never fixed from the previous flat and caused a slow leak that eventually caused the flat that had occurred last Thursday. We had to spend another $400 to get that rim on the tire repaired and borrow a tire so we could drive home safely while we wait for the repair. Theft, negligence, incompetence, poor customer service, poor management, lack of leadership, lack of responsibility, lack of pride and ownership of work. From how I've been treated by the cashiers all the way up to corporate is all a reflection of the entire company's values and mission. And it stinks. My family's safety was at risk because their employees failed to not only do their jobs properly, but took the opportunity to take advantage of their customers due to the poor operation of their store. And they continue to fail to take responsibility and make it right. No, I know for a fact the tow truck company did not steal our stuff. My husband rode in the tow truck as our van was towed to this location. It's not even about the theft anymore, it's about failing to provide satisfactory (let alone adequate) service that I paid for! I know it is such a huge ask to expect a company to make things right after they messed up so demonstrably in every way possible, let alone expect a tire company to (gasp) actually fix a tire properly. Get it together, Wheelworks and make things right.
