Arguably the worst mechanic on the planet- this shop did a horrific job on my daughters car, if you want your loved ones to feel safe don't get their cars worked on here- we went in for a state inspection and left with a bad shaking vibrating car, $500 on repairs that did nothing apparently and more issues than we had when we got there- and Scott is the rudest associate they employ and I'll never go here again, I'm contacting the corporate office for their horrific experience and lack of professionalism as well as their inability to fix cars in general- good luck, highly recommend driving about 5 minutes west to Roy Hendricks- they actually employ master techs and we all always get a good laugh there about how terrible fire stone is. read more

Picked up my car after they installed new tire. On way home tire pressure light came on so I pulled into station to check air and found the new tire had been inflated to its maximum pressure (51psi). The recommendation for the vehicle is 35 psi. Thankfully this wasn't done when we were in the 100's last week. read more

The customer service at front desk misleads my friend into believing she was getting similar tires offered by Costco. The rates were lower but eventually she learnt she was mislead by the agent making her believe she was getting similar quality but she was cheated by having lower grade Firestone tire which was not even offered by Costco. I've never had the greatest experiences with this Firestone, but my parents would always go here so I did the same. That will never been the case again. After spending much much more for a couple fixes on my car compared to their competitors, I started my drive to visit my brother down in NC. Car breaks down in the middle of nowhere in NC and has continued to have issues ever since they did their "comprehensive" inspection to ensure the car was safe to drive. Also, dropped it off on Monday, and I had to be the one to remind them multiple times to pull it into their shop which they did THURSDAY afternoon. I'll be going out of my way to recommend people not use their services along with the rest of my family from now on. read more

I went in at 4:00 because my RR tire was leaking air. I bought the tires at that store a year ago. The "manager" told me they would not be able to look at it til the next day and told me to go across the street to the used tire place they may be able to help. I told him I'm going to Discount Tire and if they help me in never stepping in a Firestone ever again. Especially his. He said I understand. Not only did Discount Tire help me they fix my tire for free and I didn't even buy them there. So going forward they will receive all by business. read more

Store manager Chris is overly sensitive and extremely rude. I have been in this store many times over the years and heard his staff use all manner of curse words. He hangs up in customers faces if he doesn't like what they say. Especially if it contradicts his delicate point of view. His store quoted a price for services to be performed and then when I scheduled to bring it in they raised the price by over $250. When I commented on the extremely overpriced estimate he continued to interrupt me at every turn. When I made the comment that whomever made the original quote was either wrong or an idiot he continued to focus on my language more than the actual issue. Finally had enough. The one thing I can't stand is being lied to. Had ordered tries and when I went to pick up my car, I realized they were wrong. I was told the tires I ordered were discontinued so they shipped these "newer" model ones. I explained it would have been nice to know when I placed the order since I really didn't like the ones they put on. After dealing with the clerk for awhile since the manager was "busy," I asked them to put my old tires back on and to let me know when they were done. After leaving, the manager called and said they actually received the wrong tires and would order the ones I originally wanted. After a week, I got my car back with the tires I wanted. The problem as I see it is I was either lied to during my visit, or lied to when they called. I have put up with the constant upsale for years since the location was convenient; however, I will never return. read more

Agree with Bill on this, you need to AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. Wen't in for new tires, received pretty horrendous service, I had to plead for what I wanted before they finally backed down from their up-sale. THE WORST PART... I am driving home, my car is making this clanking noise from hell, I take it back and they assure me everything is fine, I ask them to come take a look at the two nuts they forgot to secure my wheel with! I had a full synthetic oil change a few days ago. I also had a check engine light on with a lean error. Air filter did not need to be changed. I requested that the mass air sensor be cleaned. Was advised that it was cleaned but that it was not terribly dirty. Believed that the error was coming from a small slit in one of the hoses. That was repaired. Paid and told all was ready with my Toyota Highlander. Go to get in the vehicle and there is a large area of grease on the plastic piece where you place your foot on the drivers side of the door. I'm irritated and clean it off the best I can with tissue. Start the car and all of the lights are still on.... check engine and warning light stating that an oil change needs to be done soon. Really irritated at this point. Go inside and request that someone come out to look at the car. Guy takes the car to reset all lights. Advises that he has cleaned the grease area again. Mind you, I had asked initially if a certified mechanic would be working on my car. Assured that everyone was certified, etc.... I leave the shop and go home. Yesterday.... warning light comes on advising that the windshield wiper fluid is low. I cannot believe that the mechanic did not even top off my fluids for what I paid.... call the shop and I am advised that the mechanic working on my vehicle was a new trainee.... ok... they don't know how to do a basic oil change and have no disregard for someone's property re: grease on the side of the car. Advised that I can come by the shop for a fluid top off.... I live over an hour away.... no thank you. On a positive note.... the guy in the front was honest in regards to my not needing a new air filter or an extensive clean on the air sensor..... read more

I've had my first set of tires installed here about 2 yrs ago and got the tire protection. I was very satisfied with the price, service and helpfulness of this location. My tire protection cane in handy once for a nail where it couldn't be plugged and the other time for an accident. Never did I have to haggle my issues were taken care easily and swiftly. I guess the management has changed. Been getting service here for quite a few years and have had a significant level of trust and satisfaction. Today, they can't fit me in for an oil change in the middle of the week even if I leave my vehicle over night. They can get to me in two days. Naw, I have all three of my vehicles serviced here, all services needed in fact. That should mean something. I'm considering moving to a privately owned shop that's not too busy to get to a regular customer. Work on your loyalty Firestone. BTW, my truck is currently being serviced at a privately owned shop. Don't take your car here for anything unless you can go days without having your vehicle..literally. Took them two full days to do a inspection on my car. Associate on the phone told me it was due to other appointments needing to be seen first, but why tell other costumers you can service their car if you're too backed up???? This place is terrible! I usually love firestone and the way they treat their customers but these guys are terrible. I took my car in at 8am Thursday morning and said they couldn't squeeze in an oil change and tire rotation until tomorrow afternoon. That's fine you can't control how busy you are but every time I go here it gets busier and takes longer. They call me Friday afternoon and say a lug not won't come off, so they want to charge me 130 for parts and labor when they were the ones who did my last tire rotation and the only way lug nuts seize to the wheel or stud is if you use to high of a torque or you do not align the threads( basically when you bullshit work) I've had this problem before but firestone is usually courteous and will pay for the labor as long as you pay for the part( only 20bucks) So a 80 dollar job is now 220 after tax. They also gave me an estimate for about 2000 in "recommended maintenance". I usually do my own work on my car but for little jobs like oil changes and tire rotations I'll save some time and get it done here( not really because it's always 2 or 3 days until they can service my car). 2 of the 3 things they recommended were things I had done myself ( spark plugs which I changed not even 5000 miles ago and struts). Basically they will lie and overcharge as much as possible. The guy Scott at the front desk is the fakest person ever, you might as well talk to a robot because he does not care about you or your car just making his cut of sales. It's also funny because the first time they quoted me for spark plugs they told me it was a 565 dollar job(parts cost 30 bucks and it only takes about 10 minutes to change them). I asked Scott why it would be so expensive he said you had to take the manifold off and get in the engine which is true but the manifold is only 2 bolts and to put the spark plugs in you have to take off 4 coil packs off(1 bolt each). I didn't get it done and guess what my cars misfiring 2 days after I leave. I take off the manifold and all my bolts attaching my coil packs are loose I didn't even have to use a ratchet I could unscrew them with my fingers. My spark plugs were loose too. My manifold was on tight though so it seems like they purposely did this. I would stay away from this place and give them the business they deserve.... none. They are so busy they will rip you off and lie because hey they always have cars to service read more

Wasted my money on their "lifetime alignment". These guys either don't have the skill to do a proper alignment, or are not motivated b/c they aren't making any money after the first service. They actually had the nerve to tell me my truck was ready when the driver side was showing unaligned (red) on their own alignment sheet. They wrote down on the sheet that it could not be adjusted. My truck as fully adjustable lower and upper control arms... there is no excuse for this. The service technician should be ashamed, as well as the manager who should never let a tech turn in an alignment sheet that shows poor workmanship. This place gets worse and worse the more I go to them. I scheduled an appointment three days out and let them know exactly what I needed done. Nothing fancy or time consuming, but what a waste of time they were!! I dropped off my vehicle early and got it checked in well before my appointment start time. I went back 3 HOURS later and my vehicle wasn't in the shop yet and hadn't even moved from the parking spot I had left it in! Why the heck do you even schedule appointments and have that as an option when you can't even get the job done. They asked me what time I'd need it done by when I dropped it off, and they still couldn't manage to adhere to the timeline set. They either have poor planning or time management, or perhaps both. I was not impressed with them at all and I've come to expect more out of their entire team. read more

I have been going here for about 2 years now (new tire and state inspections). I don't know if they have new management since the negative reviews in 2010/11, but I love them! They have always been super honest and caring. When I took my truck to the dealership they told me I my shocks and struts were bad and I needed them replaced for over $2000.....i got a 2nd opinion from Firestone.....they said that while they recommend getting shocks/struts replaced every 60k miles my shocks were still good and they didn't need to be replaced. They could have easily lied to me but they didnt. They were completely honest. As a young militay widow with 3 young children that I am trying to care for on my own I appreciate their honestly. They gave up a $2000 (unnecessary) shock/strut job to be honest! I will be taking my truck here from now on! read more

Do not go here!! They will scam you! I would give a 0 rating if I could! I got my car towed here because it stopped after I hit a pothole. They charged me $100 for diagnostics saying it was the fuel pump. They wanted to charge me $1000 to fix it so I got my car towed home and got an independent mechanic to fix it for $150 with a $100 part. It still wouldn't start. My mechanic friend found out my Main Relay was missing! That means somewhere in between getting my car to firestone and getting it back someone took the relay out (which I ended up having to get a new one for $115) when I called firestone about this the man was very rude saying I must have taken it out (because clearly I'd want to make things more expensive for myself) once I put the relay in the car still wouldn't start! My mechanic thinks it's a grounding issue. So they charged me $100 to not even tell me what was really wrong with my car! And the relay was missing! Save your time and go to a small shop or find someone independent that hopefully won't capitalize on the fact you probably don't know much about cars! read more

The corporate office had the store that lied to us and try to get $1,100.00 from us call my husband. They basically told my husband that the other mechanic must be fibbing. FIbbing? So the company that said we only had two small leaks in two hoses and only made $153 off us was fibbing? If the leaks had been there they could have fixed it and made the money off us but they didnt. Because for one, WE DIDNT HAVE ANY MAJOR LEAKS and two they are an honest company. Have taken three different cars here over a period of 15+ years and have gotten professional, polite service at what I consider a reasonable cost throughout that time. Do not recognize this shop in the negative reviews from 4 years ago. I was using them then, and always got great communication whether or not they found a problem. I will never go to Firestone again. I wrote a review yesterday that while true, was not flattering to Firestone about price gauging. Because of that I received a phone call from the Store Manager. I have never been so angry in my life. This "manager" was just as nasty as other encounters there when you question a service or price. Firestone is great if you get whatever work they claim needs to be done, but if you question them, watch out. He continued to interrupt me, spoke over me and refused to answer my question saying it was not relevant. It was relevant to the reason I brought my car in. To say a customers question is irrelevant over and over is insulting. When asked about the $120.00 difference in Firestone's quote and the exact same service I had at A Auto Body, he tried to brush it off and say it was not the same thing. I had both receipts/estimates in my hand and they were exactly the same. Then he said Firestone cannot beat an independent shops prices and I should compare them with Goodyear.
