I would give it negative 5 if I could. Had a 11:00 am appointment for tire balance and alignment and was told it takes about 2 hours. Went there at 4:00pm and the tech hadn't started on the alignment....not sure what type of people they hire but work ethic ain't one of them. I will never go back there against...will also tell Tire Rack to find another dealer since this place s*cks. read more

This is not the usual Firestone shop I take my vehicle to get serviced. However, I was in need to get a new set of tires replaced before making a road trip. This Firestone store was able to get the tires in and appointment the next day. The staff communicated with me every step of the way and provided great customer service. They were provided recommended service but weren't pushy to try to upsell. They did an excellent job getting all the work that I requested completed in a timely fashion. Went to this location on 2/20 instead of my usual Firestone because it was the closest to my house. I had a spare on my car and a tire in my trunk with a razor blade in it. Knowing my car is all wheel drive I knew this most likely meant 4 new tires; and I was correct. The process of getting the tires replaced was completely stress free, but that's where the positives stop. As a former Firestone employee I found it weird that at no point did anyone ask me about an alignment (to which I have a lifetime alignment on this vehicle). After picking up my car the tire light was still on so I called the shop and they told me to drive it a couple days and it should clear itself. After about a week the light was still on and when I called I was told to bring it in to be checked out, I went in Monday 3/2 but they were busy so I rescheduled for today 3/6. When I went in today I was told it would be $50 to check the sensors which I find outrageous since I just spent $930 2 weeks ago for tires. I was informed that they don't check tpms sensors when replacing tires which is a missed opportunity for an upsell if this sensor wasn't responsive prior to service because I would have replaced it while the tire was off; not to mention I believe a relearn procedure is available to reset the light along with a scanner which would have told them one of the sensors was not responsive. I do understand that these sensors have batteries and that they die but with nothing noted on my invoice about an unresponsive sensor I also can't be sure now that that sensor wasn't broken during the replacement. All I wanted was to find out what sensor wasn't working after I had spent a considerable amount of money at this location I feel like I'm being gouged for more money. read more

Firestone replaced the wrong tires on my daughter's car, leaving dangerously bald tires on the vehicle during the winter driving season and putting a teenage driver in a dangerous and unnecessary situation. When I met with Eric, the manager, on this, he pretended he couldn't find receipts for transactions that validated my claim to avoid refunding me for the mistake. Additionally, he was very unprofessional in his words and tone and offered a single (terrible) option: "I'll refund you for the issue but you're never to bring you car back for service here." I have spent thousands at the Firestone in Maple Shade, NJ in the past 12 months and this is how the manager is representing your business when faced with a situation that was created by your employees that could have killed my daughter? My car had an issue where it kept kicking itself into neutral during my drives. This was frightening since I'm on the highway everyday, and to suddenly get thrown into neutral and then stutter into drive was of course dangerous. I took it to a Midas... the my had it for over a week. $1200 and numerous headaches later, I decide to take it to Firestone. I got recommended by a long time goer, so I thought maybe there was some hope. 4 days later I get told they were trying to get a hold of me to tell me they couldn't do it. This was after they had called me the day after I dropped my car off to tell me that the manger was still pricing out some parts. Again, I thought there was some hope since parts were potentially found and priced. I just picked up my car today, 06/17/2023, just to be told they could never fix it, and could only recommend a place. I immediately retaliated with why they had a employee call me and tell me otherwise. The manager was dumbfounded and had nothing to say, just to be told moments later that, "it must've been a new guy." On our our trip from Boston to DC, We realized we had a bad oil leak driving through New Jersey at 2:30 on a Saturday . Jiffy lube referred us to Firestone and they went above and beyond to get us back on the road. Our advisor, Don, didn't think we could get the part, but he tried anyway. We were so lucky because not only did they procure the part from auto zone, the technician (Tom ) stayed late on a Saturday to install it . And at 4:00 pm we are back on the road again. Dropped my kid's car off for an oil change and tire rotation. Had an 8 am appointment and arrived a minute or two before 8. Told them I had a ride to work and to let me know when work was completed. Didn't hear from them all morning, so figured they had just forgot to call me. Called around 1 pm and was told work was not yet complete. I told them I was being dropped back off at 3 pm or so and they said that would be fine. After going back to pick up car, I was told they hadn't gotten to it yet, but that it should be ready in about 45 minutes. The guy at desk was friendly so it's not a personality thing, they just never did the work that I had made an appointment for them to do. Awful service. Today is my second time here. I originally started with the Firestone in Mt Ephraim, NJ on the Black Horse Pike back in May and the guy was so unwelcoming and I felt very uncomfortable. Well, they did their job....mostly. I discovered a few months later when I needed to put air in one of the new front tires that some work wasn't done even though I was charged for it. Anyway, I went back to them for that and I wanted new back tires... ended up having to come to this location for tires and they honored the correction that the last place goofed on. I found out that the lugs were extremely hard to remove and that's what made me know that the other place decided to fake like they did the work instead of telling me they couldn't remove lugs without breaking them....TERRIBLE. I then found out my dad stopped dealing with them for "shotty work". Anyway, the guy here was friendly the first time I came and today. I'm waiting for them to finish the repair and then I'm outta here until next time. I have a mechanic, but I'll be coming here for some things as well. No more Mt Ephraim Firestone for me....only here. read more

My car started making a weird screeching noise near the front left tire, so we brought it to this Firestone. My husband told them he suspected it was the squealer tab and he asked them to check the brake pads. They called us the next day and told us they couldn't replicate the sound and that there was nothing wrong with the car and the brake pads were fine. A few weeks went by before we were able to bring it somewhere else. Within a few hours they had called my husband and told him that the squealer tab was contacting the rotor and that the brake pads were worn down to the point of almost causing damage. It seems like they didn't look at the squealer tab or brake pad, but charged us anyway read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I was going to book an oil change at my dealer but they were booked a few weeks out. So i came in for an oil change at Firetones Lenola location. I waited for my car 20 minutes was in and out. I drove in to the shop and I couldn't make it home. my car was severely overfilled with oil. Car started smoking from under hood and out of tail pipe. acceleration was horrible, had to pull off road , stalled out on the side of the highway and had to get towed to my dealer. Firestone tried telling me I had a blown turbo. long story short the overfill of oil had blown my engine and bent the number 2 con rod. I have an exhaust and intake on my car. I've done nothing at all to my engine. when they sent out an adjuster they tried to blame me for my mods. Had to go through my insurance and then they went after Firestone for my deductible and price of a new engine. avoid this place at all costs. The "master mechanic" and and rest of the team can't even do a correct oil change. Not to mention their customer service was horrible. The only person trying to actually help me was the guy who worked at the front desk. Stay away from this location! read more

Wasn't too happy with my last experience on 8/17/17. I found out they used conventional oil the last time I was there when my car requires synthetic. So I drove my car the usual 8,000 (thinking I had synthetic) when I needed to change the oil at 3,000 miles. When we discovered it (the tech/sales person) he didn't even offer a discount or coupon something for the potential screw up and damage it may have caused to my engine for going over by 5000 miles. I had been borrowing my boyfriends car while I was in the process of getting a new one, and took it in for an o&f change and to look at some rattling that was going on. I was running late for my appointment, so I called to let them know and they said I would have "about an hour wait" which was understandable, because I was late. I arrive and check in. The guy tells me the wait is "a couple of hours" and when I asked why he said, "Because you are late." I had told them on the phone that I would cancel the appointment altogether if being late was a problem. I also understood I would need to wait an hour. They said to still come in, and repeated it would be about an hour. Big difference between an hour and a couple of hours. Then, he rings me up and I go to sign and I see $53 for the o&f. WHAT?!??!?! I asked, "Why is this o&f so much?" and he replies, "Because it is a high mileage car, so we charge more." I said I didn't really understand and last time I was there it was less than $30. He said, "We do this for all high mileage cars and now it's over 150,000 miles." This is total bullshit and I know it, but I was already there and I knew it needed to be looked at. I coordinated with my boyfriend a ride back to my own car since they wouldn't give me anything other than "a couple of hours" as my time estimate. He gets there to pick me up and long story short, he ends up back there after dropping me off because he is so angry with how they treated me. The guy actually told my boyfriend that he gave me the option of high mileage or regular o& f and that I told them to go with high mileage- WHAT?!?! I don't think I would choose to pay approx $30 more for something that I have to. He actually made up a conversation! While he was there, they were actually working on the car (so it was not going to be "a few hours") they open up the car to check out the rattle and it turns out, it was a definitely a problem. The tensioner pulley and bolt came apart and it needed a new serpentine belt, which is what we had assumed. There, with the pulley on the ground, they told my boyfriend they wouldn't be able to get that part or fix the car and he needed to take it somewhere else. While that was a HUGE LIE, he was okay with it, because at that point, we didn't want them working on the car either! So...car was towed from Firestone to a new place (which I will also be reviewing, because they were AWESOME) and not only was it able to be fixed, but the part was easily ordered and the job was done in a day. We have washed our hands of Firestone and I would definitely recommend you find a different place to have your work done. read more

Glad to find the only open auto service center, I walked in this past Saturday morning at 7:10am desperate to have my (suddenly) flat tire fixed as I had to drive to Newark airport for a 10:00am flight. The service manager was cold and rude when I asked, then pleaded to have my tire repaired so I could make my flight in time! Without even a thought, he flatly refused to be of help, because there was another (local) customer in the lounge and then gave me some BS that it would take an hour for the tire to dry and another half hour for the work to be done. After going around the block to Mr. Tire when they opened at 7:30pm I was glad I didn't give my business to Firestone. Stay away from this place! read more

I thought I finally found a auto service center that I could trust and was comfortable with taking my car there for repairs. However that was shot lived after taking my vehicle in for an oil change in August 2016. My vehicle was secured on a hydrolic lift about foot off the ground and rocked "violently "for an extended amount of time. I am no sure exactly how long it had been on that lift when I noticed it I had been there for at least 30 minutes. I was able to video it with my phone for 7 minutes. The damage was subtle at first till eventually it started running badly to the point it started cutting off when ever I came to a stop. I had my vehicle towed back to the service center which was my 2nd mistake and received a call that repairs would cost $1,000.00. Their explanation for the violent rocking of my vehicle was "we where checking the suspension", which is an out right lie, especially since I was not having any suspension issues. This place has no integrity!! They are out to make money at any cost, unfortunatley it is at the cost of the customer! This place took advantage of my wife. They sold her a dexos "specialty" oil change claiming its the "only" oil change her truck can have. We've owned our truck since 2008 and have been getting oil changes at Firestone since we bought it and not once has anyone ever made mention of this. I pulled the last 4 receipts and sure enough we had standard oil changes. Joe the salesman lied to my wife's face yesterday just to make a sale - Thanks for that Joe, appreciate it. He also charged her for a complete vehicle inspection without informing her of the service or charge and did not provide her the sheet they are supposed to after getting a complete vehicle inspection and today the low tire pressure light is on so clearly that service was not performed as checking tire pressure is part of a complete vehicle inspection. So not only did Joe lie, they sold services that were not performed. Only go here if you want to be lied to or taken advantage of. read more

Love the service, explained everything. Rob was not there this time but he always makes service painless and efficient.
