Been going here for a couple of years now. Tom and his crew are attentive, honest, and do good work. They don't push me to do more than I want, and the work is always done quickly and correctly. My Honda is close to the end of its useful life, and I don't want to put too much more money into it before it retires. They don't seem to judge my beat-up car. When my car failed inspection in PA, I brought it here for the repairs. They seemed a bit confused with the inspection report and doubted the need for all the repairs named. Tom called his colleagues at a Tires Plus in PA to ask about it. We followed their advice, made the repairs they felt were necessary or recommended, and took it elsewhere for re-inspection. Sadly, the shop that originally inspected us (also a repair shop) seemed to be trying to drum up business for their services. I will bring any future vehicle here because I feel like I'm getting a fair price. They honor the warranties on the tires they sell, and I can log into my online account for a record of my services. Highly recommended.

Matt not only took the time to walk us through it, but he shared his expertise in a way that was easy to understand--even for someone like me who isn't familiar with auto mechanic terminology. The team at Mr. Tire is genuinely helpful, and I would recommend them 100%!

My clutch went and when I got estimates for replacing it I was surprised by how high they were and how "extensive" I was told the repair needed to be. Since the value of the car was less than $3000, spending money on unneeded repairs made no sense. Scott Cohen (at this Mavis shop) has done other repairs and maintenance for us and even though it's a bit of a hike I decided to give him a call. Wow is all I can say. Less than half of what the others quoted and he was able to resurface the flywheel. I truly can't thank him enough. An honest guy in a business not know for it. The repair was as promised. Done on time and in budget. The store is clean and the staff is very polite. Definitely worth 5 stars.

Upon this, they completed the work and held my car hostage all Memorial Day weekend (from Saturday 5/22 to Tuesday 5/26) forcing me to spend hundreds in rental car and rideshare fees. I called corporate and they submitted a motion for reimbursement in which the store wrongfully denied, without notice with no willingness to rectify, WHEN I WAS WILLING TO PAY! Why have business and not adhere to your own hours of operation? Talk about a lack of integrity and accountability. Did not ask for a price nor did I look at the bill until later. WOW $107.00 for a TIRE ROTATION. I called for an explanation and was given a speculative answer that they had to re-set my tire sensors (car does that automatically by the way) but he would have the owner, I guess, call me back. I received the call and the first words out of his mouth are, "do you want me to tell you why we charge what we charge or not" nice attitude. I will not detail the preposterous explanation he gave me including needing to test drive after a tire rotation on a car with under 6,000 miles. Between price, attitude and preposterous explanations, good reasons to STAY AWAY. By the way, I told this story to my old mechanic in Pennsylvania, I think he is still laughing.

Unfortunately, shortly after driving home, my car started shaking and making a loud noise whenever I turned the steering wheel. I called a few days later and was told to bring the car back. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule, I wasn't able to return until about three months after the original service. When I went in on a Sunday, the employee explained that the rotors needed to be redone because of oxidation and questioned whether my car had been sitting for an extended period. I explained that I work every day, only have one car, and had been driving it regularly. He suggested I bring it back on Wednesday. When I returned on Wednesday, I checked in and made it clear that I needed to leave by noon because I had to be at work. It was around 8:45 a.m., and I was assured that the issue would be fixed quickly. After waiting for two hours, I received a call for an update on my situation. I explained that I was still in the shop, and an employee came to speak with me. I was then told that the problem was the tie rod end. He also explained that they wouldn't be able to complete the repair by noon because I had been classified as a drop-off appointment. He then asked if they could try to get one of their technicians to complete the repair quickly. At that point, I was uncomfortable with the idea of them doing any additional work on my car because I strongly suspect that something went wrong during the original brake and rotor replacement, given the issues that started immediately afterward. Ultimately, I received no compensation or satisfactory resolution for the problems I experienced. This entire situation has left me frustrated and disappointed. I will not be returning to this shop. I would rather pay more at a dealership for the peace of mind that comes with knowing my vehicle is being properly serviced and is safe to drive than save a few dollars upfront only to potentially face additional problems and much higher costs later. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this shop.
