    Desk/waiting area

Waiting is what you'd expect, your typical tire shop. There's a TV, a water cooler and a restroom, that's it. Not that many chairs and it smells of rubber and grease. This ain't your nice dealership waiting area that's for sure. That being said, I was in the area and overdue for an oil change. Mavis got the job done! I wish they didn't mislead me about the wait time (man on the phone said no wait, that suddenly changed when I showed up 10 minutes later). There was also a good 30-45 minute delay to procure wiper blades. That's a job I should do myself but what can I say, I'm lazy sometimes. Still, don't make an upsell, have me accept it, and then tell me you don't have the product in the store so the wait will be nearly as long as it was for the oil change. Check the website for coupons. There's a decent diner down the street to kill time. I'd go back, it's a lot more affordable than the dealership and they did do the job right.

My battery notes on the top that it is 640 CCA. Yet, Mavis tested at 550 CCA and told me it failed. See other picture of their report.

Scott Cohen (at this Mavis shop) has done other repairs and maintenance for us and even though it's a bit of a hike I decided to give him a call.

I have a very bad experience at Mr. Tire (Voorhees location at Haddonfield-Berlin Rd)…read more On April 9, 2025, I visited this location due to frequent deflation of two tires on my 2014 Nissan Sentra. After inspection, the store manager, Joseph, recommended that I replace all four tires. Based on his professional recommendation, I purchased four new tires along with tire insurance. The total cost for tires, installation, insurance, fees, and tax was $766.09. Approximately 1.5 hours after picking up my vehicle, the low tire pressure warning light appeared. I immediately returned to the store. A technician initially suggested a possible nail in the tire; however, after inspection, no puncture was found. I was then told that one tire had simply been underinflated. Within a few days, the same warning light reappeared, and I returned again. At that time, Joseph stated that the issue was related to a valve body, which was replaced. Despite this, the problem continued. On December 18, 2025, after repeatedly inflating the two rear tires every 4-5 days due to pressure loss of 10-20 PSI below the manufacturer recommended 33 PSI, I returned to the store. I was told that the valve cores were loose and that the issue had been fixed. However, the two rear tires continued to deflate, requiring adding air every 2-3 days. On February 2, 2026, the rear driver-side tire measured 21 PSI, and the rear passenger-side tire was completely flat, despite the recommended pressure being 33 PSI. I brought the vehicle back to the store yet again. During this visit, Joseph stated that they identified additional costly work that he believed was needed (battery, wiper blades, TPMS sensors). I made it clear that my sole concern was resolving the ongoing tire deflation issue, which was the original reason for my visit in April 2025. I was told that no leaks were found, despite the persistent and ongoing problem. I then requested tire replacement under the tire insurance I had purchased, given the unresolved issue. Joseph informed me that the tires would be prorated and that I would still be required to pay installation fees. A tire losing 10-20 PSI or becoming completely flat when the correct pressure is 33 PSI represents a serious safety concern. After nearly ten months, multiple visits, and repeated assurances that the issue was fixed, the problem is still ongoing. This situation is completely unacceptable and below a reasonable standard of care. If you don't want to waste your time, money and to get a headache, stay away from this location.

Excellent service at Mr. Tire!…read more After the Lexus dealership attempted to rip me off big time during a routine service appointment, I headed over to Mr. Tire to inquire about replacing 3 tires. Lucky for me, it was on the cusp of President's Day Weekend and there was a special "buy three tires, get one free" promotion going on. Perfecto! Joe was transparent and up-front about pricing. He ordered the tires and they arrived the very next day. I dropped off the car and before I even got settled back at home, it was ready. They're quick! I cannot recommend this establishment enough. Especially for my ladies out there who fear being ripped off. This place conducts ethical business practices with a genuine smile. I saved nearly $400 by going to Mr. Tire. You know your tire light is on...go get it fixed today!

We brought our Ford F-150 to this shop weeks ago for an oil leak repair and paid approximately…read more$1,200. After the repair, the truck was still leaking oil and was not running properly. We then took the truck to Ford for a second opinion and were told that parts and valves had not been properly reattached during the original repair, and the leak had not actually been resolved. Rather than paying Ford for additional repairs, we gave this shop the opportunity to correct the issue themselves. Unfortunately, the problems continued. After the truck later broke down and was towed back to the shop, we learned the repairs still had not been properly completed and the valve covers needed to be replaced again. What made this experience even worse was the manager's response when we tried to address the issue professionally. Instead of taking accountability or attempting to resolve the situation, we were told, "Take me to court, I'll be there waiting for you," before he hung up the phone. We also contacted corporate, only to find out the locations are independently owned and corporate cannot enforce refunds or resolutions. This has been one of the worst experiences we've had with an auto repair business. We gave this shop multiple opportunities to make things right and were met with poor workmanship, lack of accountability, and extremely unprofessional customer service. We are now exploring our options to recover the money we spent on repairs that were never properly completed.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this mechanic…read more I brought my BMW in because of an engine overheating issue. They told me the cooling fan needed to be replaced, although I already suspected the fan was working fine--because the very first time my engine overheated, I actually heard the fan running before the warning message appeared on my screen. I paid $1,300 for the repair and left the shop, only for my engine to overheat again after driving about 30 miles. I almost ended up paying another $500 for towing. The next day I managed to get the car back to the shop because the original problem was clearly not fixed. At first, he told me he would take care of it, but the next day he changed his story and said I would "only need to pay for parts." By that point, he had already significantly overpriced the parts--I know the prices of genuine OEM BMW parts, and his quote was much higher. Then the following day he texted me saying that price was for parts only, strongly implying I would also have to pay labor again. He then claimed that the water pump and thermostat were failing and showed fault codes on the computer. The problem is, when I first brought the car in, I specifically asked him to check the water pump and thermostat because I had this exact issue about 3 years ago and had already replaced both. I also mentioned a knocking noise coming from the engine that I suspected could be related to the overheating, and that was written on the invoice. This makes it seem like a proper diagnostic was never done the first time. One day I was told everything else was working fine, and the next day suddenly multiple major components were "bad." What's even more suspicious is that after they replaced the fan, the new diagnostic still showed a fan malfunction code, even though they had supposedly replaced it the day before. I still don't understand why that error was still there. In the end, my car had the exact same overheating problem, the same engine noise, and the same symptoms as before I brought it in. I paid $1,300 and the original issue was never fixed. To add to everything above, I also know that the new parts they were recommending cost approximately $800 total, and with labor, this would have cost me at least another $1,500 or more on top of what I had already paid. After already spending $1,300 for a repair that did not fix the original issue, I had very little confidence in paying even more for additional repairs that should have been properly diagnosed from the beginning. I strongly believe that if a car leaves the shop and breaks down again after only a few miles with the exact same issue, I should not be expected to pay for repairs a second time. This didn't happen weeks or even days later--it happened the very same day. To me, that clearly shows the original repair or diagnosis was not done correctly, and I ended up paying for something that did not actually fix the problem.
