This place is all crooks! They stole my car, didn't do a thing to help. The owner had one of his criminal employees take my car without consent. Then filed a police report stating that. But nothing happened to help me. When I spoke to the owner he crused me out like I was wrong in this situation. He is an A$$HOLE. They over price everything with stolen parts. Late September/Early October I got an oil change. Afterward as I was driving the undershield came loose and was dragging on the road and it was badly damaged. I would devote a whole paragraph of how I was put out but I'm sure you get the gist of it. A new undershield replacement from the car dealer will cost me $300+ I should not have to spend that kind of money I do not have on something I should not have needed! I went back and spoke to the owner (Ed) about what happened and what I had to go through. He acknowledged responsibility (Since it was his guy who reattached the skidplate last!) and would order me a replacement and put it on for me when it comes in asap. Weeks pass. Never got a call back and I had to remind him and his son who I was everytime I called and every time I physically went there when I was able to. Every! single! time! I left my contact info! More weeks pass. The week of December 21st I'm due for another oil change and went back asking the owner if this part came in after more than two months. He said it did but got thrown away and he'll order another one. Obviously he never even bothered ordering this part for me in the first place and was hoping I would forget about it over time. My window fell off track today while I was putting it up. I stopped by cornerstone because I was passing by anyway. I was told no problem and to give them two hours to fix it they just had to order a part and it would cost me 350 which is kinda ridiculous but as Long as it was getting fixed whatever. Was finally called back 2 pick up my car so I go to test out the window and It immediately falls forward. The "mechanic" runs over and told me I shouldn't Of rolled the window down the glue hasn't dried. I'm really not kidding. He proceeded to try and make me pay for doing nothing at all to fix the window and then he compromised to let me just pay for the part which was 160. I obviously declined. He said he would take his part back Off I said go ahead. Then he tells me to give him my personal info and he would bill me. I declined. This place is remarkable, they have been taking care of my family and I for many, many years. The staff is great, the mechanics are always helpful and they will elucidate any questions, concerns or worries I may have. Inside the lobby I am always delightfully greeted by the receptionist and she always informs us of any coupons/specials that are currently running, which many businesses do NOT do. This is a family owned and operated store and they very well make you feel like family. I find it the two comments below to be utterly absurd, I've never once heard a negative experience come out of Corner Stone. I have referred close to 20 different families to this store and each and every family has found this place to be extremely dependable and authentic. In fact the owner holds monthly women car care clinics, teaching women the essentials of what is underneath of their hood. The owner has told me that 75% of his clientele is women, progressively coming back after the service they received from his business and how much dependence they have with him and his store. They not only excel in the quick lube area but they outshine in all parts of the automotive repair world. My sister-in-law had her entire engine rebuilt while I received a two year warranty on my brand new front and rear brakes and rotors. When I find a great business, I am sure to let everyone know! This outfit is a real treat. I went in for an oil change and received the oil change without a problem. I was told I need new front and rear brake pads really bad. That I was bordering needing rotors cut. The pads were on about 65 thousand so I believed them. Thankfully, I didn't get them done that day. I came back the next Sunday to get them done. Thankfully these clowns are too lazy to work Sundays. So I went to a different local outfit who told me that my front brakes went on two and my rears on 5. Completely dishonest.
