RE: Common Vision. Lee is the kind of mechanic who is passionate about diagnosing car problems and…read morefinding solutions. I found him here on Yelp and hired him for a PPI to look at a 2003 Tiburon. A family member is an enthusiast for these old cars which they wanted to make into a "hot hatch". I met Lee at the dealer, which was a long drive to the dealer for both of us. And of course the car was in a back lot 3 or 4 rows deep. So while waiting for the dealer to find the car and bring it to the front, Lee noticed some teenagers who were there to look at a Civic SI. One of them was checking for rust by knocking his knuckles on the car body. Lee smiled at this and went over to chat with them and before you know it, he was reviewing the car with them, explaining how you really check for rust, opened the hood and began digging into how to tell if this Civic was running well or not. He looks underneath the car by getting on the ground and actually looking. I noticed all the other guys, both the dealer guys and the buyers, were hesitant to do this. I think they were intimidated because he obviously knew much more about engines than they did. I was impressed that Lee has the instincts of an educator. He really wants to not just evaluate the car but to teach others how to examine a car. Eventually the Tiburon appears and then Lee quickly went through his process. He focuses on the engine and doesn't move on from that until all issues are covered. In this case, he zeroed in immediately on the coolant system. It wasn't holding pressure. I watched as he carefully tested and retested and showed the dealer technician that the system was bad and that it was leaking. We had already been there for an hour and a half so it was decided that the dealer would pull a hose from another car ( the dealer was close to a salvage yard) and repair it and then Lee would return to test it again. In the end, even the dealer gave up on this car, he didn't complete any repair and we moved on. But I will have Lee examine any car we are considering. He is an excellent mechanic, fair and honest.

DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN!…read more On 10/3/25, my husband paid Lee Wiles / Common Vision LLC $1,020 (plus a $281 tip) for axle and brake repair. Less than 24 hours later, the car broke down in a dangerous way. AAA confirmed the repair was unsafe and improperly done, and another certified mechanic verified this. The axle came out and nearly caused a serious accident. When I contacted him, instead of refunding the payment, he admitted in text messages that "the axle came out" but refused to return the money. He also tried to deflect responsibility by making inappropriate comments about race and insisted on "fixing" it again -- despite my clear statements that I no longer trusted him after such unsafe work. I have full documentation: receipt, CashApp payment, AAA confirmation, mechanic statement, and text messages from his phone. This needs to be on record to prevent him from scamming and endangering others. He is also not listed with the BBB as a registered business -- but I have filed a complaint so there will now be a record. If he scammed you too, REPORT HIM. Businesses that operate this way do not last. Add On: It's not harassment to ask for my money back after a repair failed in less than 24 hours and almost caused an accident. AAA confirmed the axle came out because of improper work, and a certified mechanic verified this. I provided proof: receipt, CashApp payment, and text messages where Mr. Wiles himself admitted "the axle came out." I made it very clear that I would not allow him to touch my car again after such an unsafe repair. At that point, the only responsible action was to issue a refund. Instead, he refused, deflected responsibility, and made inappropriate comments about race. This is not about being "nice" or "polite." It's about safety, integrity, and accountability. I stand by my review and documentation. Others deserve to know what happened so they can protect themselves. DO NOT TRUST HIM!!

I've trusted them to work on all of my cars varying from daily drivers to high performance…read moresupercharged vehicles and this shop does great work. They take the time to figure out if there are any current issues and help diagnose them along with preventative maintenance for the future to help add longevity to the vehicle. Bob and Frank do a great job with communication with the customer to keep them updated throughout the work and have always used high quality parts. These are the mechanics that will look out for you like your family and take care of you. I would recommend them to anyone in the area. A+ service and experience.

If you like yourself at all, DO NOT GO TO MR. TIRE!!!…read more I bought tires in March of 2023 and had one of the tires bubble out in early August. I went to Mr. Tire in Absecon to get my tire replaced because I knew it was under warranty. The manager, who claimed his name was Joey, was extremely rude from the very beginning. He demanded me to carry in my tire so he could check the size (because he "ain't going out there"), and he told me that my tire didn't have road hazard insurance so it wasn't able to be replaced. I asked him to check for a defect, and he referred me to corporate. Corporate wasted 30 minutes of my time and said they couldn't do anything, that the store had to do it. I went back, and Joey eventually took my tire for inspection. I eventually located my original tire invoice on accident, and saw that my tire was, in fact, covered by road hazard insurance. My dad brought the invoice to Joey, who AGAIN told us to call corporate. He refused to talk to my dad. After calling corporate, I was offered a $22 discount, but wasn't told how they calculated that price. Mind you, this was weeks after originally going into the store, after hours of corporate calls and driving to the store. $22 BARELY covered the original road hazard insurance cost, let alone a new tire. They claimed my tire had worn down from 9/32 of an inch to 4/32, but when we asked for the tire back, they said they threw it out. We got an invoice for a new tire, and I reported the company to the BBB. The BBB made absolutely no progress and closed the case. I decided to just purchase the tire and move on, never going to Mr. Tire again. But of course the story doesn't end there!! I went to Mr. Tire on Sunday to pick it up, and Joey didn't even try to look it up on the computer. He said he didn't know where the tire was and to come back later. Mind you, he works there 5 out of 7 days of the week (someone else covers on Tuesday and Friday, but it is during regular business hours when my dad and I work). My dad finally decided to go into the store and demand the tire. Joey immediately saw my dad and threatened to call the police. My dad said that he only wanted to pick up the tire and leave, but Joey ran inside the store and bolted the doors. When the police arrived, they told my dad that this has happened several times before with other people not getting back things from this Mr. Tire location. Joey "couldn't find" the invoice for the tire and couldn't locate the tire, so my dad and I were forced to get our invoices to prove that the tire even existed. When the tire was located, they charged my dad $98 (the original invoice charged $170) and the police said that my dad was not allowed on the property again (but they were unsure if it was only for this location or all Mr. Tire locations). This is the concise version of the story. It is so much worse with details. I would recommend NEVER going there. And if you meet a very rude middle-aged white man with a hunch from a bad back, possibly named Joey, I would recommend avoiding him. I have no clue how he is still allowed to work there.
