However, during the visit she was told that her Ford Focus required a replacement coolant reservoir. Midas charged $119.00 for the coolant reservoir and $30.00 for labor. After the visit, we researched the part pricing independently and found the same coolant reservoir available online for under $50, with multiple reputable listings--some as low as $17.99. The part number is 603-382. When we contacted the store to discuss the significant price discrepancy, we were told that Midas has no control over part pricing and that the lower-priced parts we found must have been "from China." No effort was made to explain the markup, offer a comparison, or provide any resolution. Given the substantial difference between the price charged and readily available market pricing--and the dismissive response when concerns were raised--we were very disappointed with the experience. As a result, we will not be returning to Midas nor recommending this location to others.

Been going here for a couple of years now. Tom and his crew are attentive, honest, and do good work. They don't push me to do more than I want, and the work is always done quickly and correctly. My Honda is close to the end of its useful life, and I don't want to put too much more money into it before it retires. They don't seem to judge my beat-up car. When my car failed inspection in PA, I brought it here for the repairs. They seemed a bit confused with the inspection report and doubted the need for all the repairs named. Tom called his colleagues at a Tires Plus in PA to ask about it. We followed their advice, made the repairs they felt were necessary or recommended, and took it elsewhere for re-inspection. Sadly, the shop that originally inspected us (also a repair shop) seemed to be trying to drum up business for their services. I will bring any future vehicle here because I feel like I'm getting a fair price. They honor the warranties on the tires they sell, and I can log into my online account for a record of my services. Highly recommended.
