Barely making it, I pulled in a parking lot, conveniently it was a mechanic shop. Max and his team not only had no issues taking my car in immediately the next day but also diagnosed the problem with ease and gave an in depth description of the issue, with a full breakdown of the costs. Well over a year later, I still feel fully comfortable and confident in having Max service my personal and family's vehicles. Not only is he very knowledgeable, he's personable, friendly and very fair with his prices. Most recently I had an oil change done on my new F-150 and without asking, his team filled my tires with air and performed a diagnostic/safety check at no additional cost. He's one that will remember you by name and won't pressure you into getting anything fixed. With anything I've had done, his team was more than happy to walk me back, show the problems, areas of concern needing replacement and if you agree, will write up an invoice for cost, never leaving you out of the loop a single step of the way. To conclude, I highly recommend Max's Auto for all your mechanical needs. I was tired and annoyed of getting ripped off at other places due to "mechanics" having limited knowledge/experience (specifically one in Mays Landing) to only take shots in the dark on what needs to be done, all at your expense. Not only will he not rip you off (which is already head and shoulders over most mechanics), but he will tell you what everything costs, what it COULD cost elsewhere, what it will cost if you don't tend to it, what you could put off for another day, what is necessary vs luxury repair, whether or not the repair is simple enough for you to do it yourself, and he breaks it all down in a way that someone who knows very little about cars will understand. He is ridiculously patient and has incredibly good and respectful "bedside manner". He goes the extra mile and will stay on the phone with you and text about all car concerns without getting huffy or jerky. And he won't discriminate against you no matter what walk of life you are from. I live in DC now and I *still* drive out to Philly when my car needs work (if it is that drivable). And if you are in the Philly area he will drive out to YOU to do most repairs if you need it, which is amazing for when you can't call out of work to get repairs done. Literally cannot recommend this dude enough.
