Called ahead to confirm they had my tire in stock. They pulled up my account and have replaced my tires before, so the now what tires I have on my car. Unbeknownst to me, quoted me a different tire which was in stock. Dropped off the car and explained how I got the flat. They called me 20 min later to say I needed a different tire which was not in stock and was more money. Later in the day, they finally realized that I had a sensor issue on the valve (which I had already explained when I dropped it off), then quoted me more money. Time for payment, and it was $100 more than the last highest quote. Last time I'll be using Mavis. read more

I went for my tire install appointment today 1/9/25 and I have to say that other than the great service I received from the technician, he was great! But the condition of the store and the restroom as well as the 2 customer service Representatives lack of intuitive or motivation was very disappointing. Upon arriving I saw that the floors were filthy and covered with scraps of paper and the garbage can was overflowing. There was absolutely no heat in the waiting area and being 20° was very cold but I guess that's why the customer service Representatives sat in the service area because when I went in there it was toasty and warm. They only came into the waiting area if a new customer came in. The bathroom was disgusting!! Especially when I went in after the customer service Representative had went in before me and urinated all over the toilet seat of which I had to clean myself because I needed to sit down unfortunately. Except for the service tech I never saw the 2 customer service Representatives do anything except sit in the warm area on their phones. It was like they had no drive or initiative at all. The one customer service Representative actually told one customers who needed service told him to go online to make an appointment and return in a hour and a half. He returned requesting service and stated that he did make an appointment for 10:00am was told a second time to come back in another hour and a half. I certainly wouldn't have come back if I had been on two occasions to come back at different time periods especially if I saw 2 employees sitting on their asses. I can't understand why you're turning work away. FYI, this was the Bordentown NJ location on Route 206 on 1/9/25. Personally I don't think I'll be returning ever again and that's sad because they are close to my home. read more

My tire was punctured back in January and I patched it myself. The patch lasted until July when the tire started losing air. Took it in to Mavis Tires on Rt. 70 in Cherry Hill fully expecting them to tell me I need a new tire. I feel like when you go to any tire place, they will say you need a new tire no matter what as obviously there is more money in selling tires than patching them. I made an online same day appointment with Mavis and they were great. Fixed the tire and had me on my way in no time at minimal cost. Ordered tires and was told they would arrive the same day and I should go to the store at 330 for an appointment. So I acalled the store directly and they said they would call me when they got there. Needless to say they never arrived ad my day was lost. They informed me the tires would arrive the next morning and they would call to confirm,.....they did not!!! So I called them and surprise yes they are there. they say I see you said you'd be here for a 230 appointment today and I conform. I arrive 10 minutes early and am checked at desk at 230 by a friendly woman. I said how long will this take and she says about an hour I have someone coming off break now. 45 minutes later I notice my car still sitting in the same spot I left it so I ask what the deal was. That same friendly woman says no sir I said it would be an hour before we brought it in......well no she did not. I also know they took someone that came after me in before me. So id suggest strongly you avoid this nightmare organization and get your tires elsewhere. The whole experience was bad so avoid avoid avoid!!!! read more

Came out from work to a flat, I have a lifted truck so i needed to have it change via a lift. AND MY GOD! I have been coming to Mavis since November 2021 when I needed to get new tires for my car and have returned for every oil change and tire rotation ever since. I had a flat tire from an embedded screw. The dealership I generally go to for any work on my car wouldn't give me a quick appointment or even guarantee if I brought the car in as soon as they opened the next morning that they would get to it. I googled the type of tire I needed, and found that Mavis carried them. When I called, the person answering advised that they didn't have that tire in the location, but they could get it by the afternoon. I said I'd be in about half an hour after he expected the tire to get there. When I arrived, the discussion was whether the original tire could be patched, and that was the first intent. But then I realized I wouldn't trust a patched tire, and asked the manager, David, to just replace it. In no time, everything was done, and I was on my way. All in all, an aggravating situation was very pleasantly handled. I'd recommend Mavis to anyone needing tires. read more

3/29/24: Had a 9am appointment for 4 new tires on my Escalade, alignment & brakes. Arrived at 8:45am drop the car off. Greeted at the desk by Kelly who stated there were 6 cars ahead of me from the day before and there was only 1 tech and 1 mechanic because someone didn't show up for work. Said the car would get in the shop around 12:30. I called at 3:30 to check the status. Was told the car had yet to be worked on but would be brought into the shop 'shortly'. I called again at 5:10 (because they close at 6) and was told the last tire was being put on the car. By the time I arrived, 5:35, the car was still on the lift WITH NO TIRES MOUNTED YET! Long story short, they didn't do the safety check I was told they would do to check the amount of brake life I had left! They did a check as I was watching and they said I had 20% in the rear and 30% in the front. I told them to do it...they said they couldn't do it today before closing and NOR could they do the alignment either. They said I'd have to come back! They didn't even offer some type of discount for the 8 1/2 hours I had to wait! Don't know what happened to this store but they won't be seeing me, my family, or friends. They SHOULD HAVE offered me the option to leave my car or choose another day for the service...but they didn't. read more

Great place to do business with! A nail puncture on the tread caused a leak in my rear tire with plenty of tread left. They promptly repaired my tire correctly while I waited 15-20 minutes. The total charge was $23.05 and included balancing. They didn't try to sell me a new tire that I didn't need....they were honest. My husband (who is very particular about his car) went there when he had a nail in his tire. Guy was able to plug it and didn't even charge him. Fast forward a month to today where same tire was low. He took it back and had another nail in tire! Guy was so nice and honest. Asked him to come a little while later instead of waiting for hours. Cared about the customer instead of the buck. I did not have a good experience at the Mavis in Cherry Hill, NJ. I purchased new 50,000-mile tires. Within one week one of the new tires was flat. I took the tire back to the store and got the run around from the store manager. First, he wanted me to pay for another new tire. He then said that if I purchased three hazard protection insurances totaling $99 he will give me a new tire. There is an 800 number on the receipt that Mavis advertises that you can call if you are not satisfied. I called the 800 number was told by the reps that answer the phone that I would be called back by the regional manager but was never called. I called back several times over a three-day period and same thing---I'm told the regional manager will call me back and they don't call back. I will never return to Mavis. Replaced 4 tires in October 2021 which cost us $900. At that time Mavis Cherry Hill on Rt 70 never suggested alignment. 6 months later, my front two tires are completely worn out. Took it back to Mavis Cherry Hill, they acknowledged that they didn't suggest an alignment and didn't offer any tangible solutions. Told us it would cost $500 to replace two tires and get alignment. After going back and forth with the store manager, Sam, he offered a $50 discount. Is this how a customer should be treated? Please don't use this location. Terrible customer service. read more

Last minute appointment was needed for big screw in my rear tire and a slow leak!!! Got there and waited about 10 minutes. Dave was great. Got the screw out, plugged my tire AND found a nail in another tire, which luckily came out, no repair needed. This is my fourth visit. The only place we go to any more. read more

If I could post zero stars I would.. I can't speak for other locations however this particular one I wouldn't recommend after my experience there when I replaced all my tires in November. After the winter I noticed that my tires were balding .. Rapidly! Not even six months.. I scheduled an appointment last week and went in they said I required two new tires and an alignment. I tried to resolve the issue in-store and then with customer service and they said it was my fault and my car destroyed the tires. I emphatically say they are wrong! Why because usually tires require an alignment when being replaced. Especially when driving on a "Donut" spare over 30 miles. Why would any tire repair service not want to offer the customer on the alignment? Let alone explain why the customer may require after having all tires replaced? I wasn't asked if I wanted one or if I should consider one. They can say I refused all they like. That wasn't the case. Why? Well since they already had me over a barrel for the four tires and a warranty. Why wouldn't I purchase an alignment if not having one performed that it would void my warranty? To add further insult to injury the clowns in customer service and regional management only wanted to discount the replacement tires 130.00 then 160.00 stating they were "Helping" me. Some help! Their idea of help cost me money.. In total it would have been almost 1500.00 when factoring in the replacement pair of tires to rectify the issue beginning with their subpar service and overpriced, under performing set of tires. No thanks! Went local with people that care about the customer. Avoid this circus like a child with a fear of clowns!! read more

I went back the next morning and the guy was shocked that I wanted to wait. he said a couple of hours to wait. so I went right down the street to another store and they changed my oil immediately. We bought our tires from mavis and have had our tires rotated as needed. Tire rotations are free as long as tires are purchased at mavis. The last time we needed our tires rotated we did not need an oil change. Usually information is loaded into the computer for an oil change. Since I only needed an tire rotation, the technician said let's do this the easy way. He took my keys without entering any information into the computer. Lesson learned. Make sure there is a record of all work done on your car. We were driving on the highway and our entire wheel came off. The lug nuts were not tightened at the time of the tire rotation at mavis. Unfortunately there is no record that I was at the store because nothing was ever entered into the computer. At least we were all safe although we are all traumatized. read more
