I moved back to NJ after 20+ years and I'm still getting used to all things Joisey. On the top of the list is having someone else pump your gas for you. So as you pull into an open spot, you gotta quickly do three things: 1) Bend down and hit the gas cap button to unlock it. I would like to know why car designer engineers haven't figured out yet there are plenty of other spaces in a car other than a dirty awkward two-inch spot on the car floor to put this stupid button. 2) Dig through your purse and have your credit card at the ready. Inevitably, your wallet has drifted down to the bottom of your massive tote bag and now you have to scrounge through its contents while the gas attendant is standing outside getting madder and madder. 3) Roll down your window. Inevitably, the pressure of doing 3 things all very quickly will mean you'll accidentally push the button that unrolls the rear passenger window on the right, which is exactly diagonal and nowhere near where the gas attendant is standing outside getting madder and madder. Maybe it'll take me a few more months to master this all within a 30 second window, but sometimes I think it's just easier for me to get out of my own damn car and do it my own damn self. And is it me, but when I left 25+ years ago, didn't they also wipe your windows clean and ask if you needed your oil checked? Long story short, gas was priced well here and the gas attendants were very nice and friendly and didn't get mad at me for failing at the above three activities. read more

I haven't reviewed a business/restaurant in a while but I feel like I need to write a review for this place. I'm sure there's always hesitation to take your car to a mechanic because you never know if they are going to do the right thing. I found out about Mohrfelds through my town's Facebook page. There were quite a few folks that raved about this business, so upon receiving that feedback I decided to take my car there due to a radiator issue. I got my car to the station and was quickly greeted by Glen. Probably one of the nicest ppl I've ever met. We talked about whatbthe problem could've been and he made every effort to get it fixed in a timely manner. On top of that he even offered to give me a ride back to my house instead of having to take an Uber. Nice to go to a local service station that hires local kids to work there. Not good that they don't offer pay at the pump, but they run your card pretty quickly. Still a place I would go back to since you're hoping the money you spend is staying local. Plus the honor the American flag, what more can you expect?
