During an oil change, they ran a diagnostic test on my daughter's car's battery. They called her to advise that her battery failed and that she needs a new battery on her 2024 car. After taking it to Mazda, they advised that there was nothing wrong with the battery. Shame on you Midas. Either you do not know how to properly test a battery or you tried to sell the consumer something that was not needed. Either way, you should be ashamed of yourself. Extremely hard pass! read more

I came in for a simple tire service and decided to add an oil change while I was there. What should have been a quick visit turned into a frustrating experience. I was repeatedly upsold on additional services that were presented as urgent, with a very obvious "pressure and discount" tactic -- quote a high price, then act like they're doing me a favor by lowering it. It felt condescending and manipulative rather than helpful. After being quoted 45 minutes, I've now been here for over 4.5 hours. There was no clear communication, no updates, and no respect for my time. I understand that shops offer additional services, but there's a difference between informing a customer and pressuring them. This experience felt like a sales pitch first and actual service second. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location if you value transparency and your time. Yikes. read more

** DONT GO TO THIS MIDAS ** I went to this Midas to get a simple synthetic oil change that I purchased off of Groupon. During the middle of the oil change I inquired why my tires were being taken off if I am getting an oil change. This man pictured above stated " this is what we do everyday " I then stated I'm sorry, that's not a detailed explanation can you please show me where it states you do this for an oil change - the technician thank God came in and explained why they did this which gave me some peace of mind. When the person who I thought was the store manager arrived to the front to assist this guy pictured above because he couldn't input Groupon and was attempted to make me pay more - I rebutted and stated uhm no, please call your supervisor - He started by yelling saying I was racist that because he was " brown " I .. mind you I'm a Hispanic - Puerto Rican woman there was a whole puerto rican flag hanging in front of my car -- This man started yelling attempting to get close to my face yelling at me waiving his hands in aggravated hostile and violent manner I told him to back up behind the counter and he kept saying i don't care I don't care - I don't have to listen to you - I literally told him off for being disrespectful, ignorant, entitled man child and Incompetent asshole - I recorded some of the incident in which I will use to make a formal complaint because this is RIDICULOUS. The technicians there are wonderful he is NOT !! There was also a gentleman there waiting for 2 hours because the guy pictured above ordered the wrong part for his car and blamed it on someone else who wasn't even involved. Go figure he has no accountability for consistently messing up. This man has Horrible customer service he needs to be fired and or held accountable for his words/ hostile behavior and attitude he has especially towards women. DON'T GO TO MIDASS! PLEASE READ! I just wanted to make another post about this because it's still affecting me. My daughter brought her car to midas of cherry hill and requested the cooling system cleaned and flushed out. They charged about $10 for looking the over the car then proceeded to tell us the entire cooling system needed to replaced. Radiator, water pump, hoses, thermostat & the car should not be driven at all until all of it was replaced, Otherwise it would ruin the engine. The quote was about $1400.00. I took the car home ordered all the parts and replaced everything. THE ONLY PART THAT WAS BAD WAS THE THERMOSTAT! I trusted them because they changed our oil in a couple cars regularly with them. I called email spoke with the manager and the main customer service number. I requested for a refund on the fee of them looking over my car. DENIED, NO... I wasted time and a significant amount of money fixing a problem that a part which costs under $10.00. A couple screws, maybe 1 hour to fix if you move like a snail. So needless to say I have an extra radiator that water pours perfectly through a garden hose, extra working water pump and even the hoses still look good. They try to take advantage of a young girl and saw her as a easy target. I have a constant reminder of this because of the pile of part sitting in my garage. They said the only way I could prove it if i had to work done at another shop as opposed to at my house. Scandalous! I recommend if you ever get done work at a shop, Ask to see the old part, pictures of the process, or Take the old part with you,Make sure that your car is working properly before discarding it. went in for an oil change and front end alignment ($160 total) and they told me i needed $5300 worth of stuff done on my car. my car is not even worth that much money lol. they refused to do the alignment and told me they wouldn't do it unless i spent at least $4200 that day to replace some stuff. i bought the car for less than that before replacing everything on it right after. went home and showed my grandpa the report and photos they sent me and he laughed at it and told me i should've gone to this other place he knows. for reference, he has three cars that he likes to work on in his backyard car garage that he built himself. matter of fact, he was underneath my car in there a few weeks ago replacing the lights and making sure it was in shape for me to drive back to school. my uncle laughed at the report too. i ended up leaving with only the oil change. went somewhere else for the front end alignment. i know my car is old, and car places like this are meant to try and sell u stuff, especially if u are a 20 year old girl there by yourself, but this was just laughable. saw on yelp some other fathers commenting the same things happened to their young daughters here. unfortunately, I know this will keep happening to other people, but me and shirley (my car) will not be returning to this business. always get a second opinion!!! read more

After a long drive from southern MD with our family, our car ran over a nail and instantly caused a flat. No one could take us in the local area and our kids were getting tired and hungry. Made an appointment at this location to get another quote for a muffler from a friend of mine. He said Midas shops normally are run by experienced and good mechanics. I research muffler shops etc. and the first quote from another shop was high. Trusted them at first since they replaced a catalytic convertor five months ago. When back three times for an add-on they recommended which failed, they said I needed a new muffler and gave me an estimate. Long story short, Jeff the manager asked me in to look at the muffler and he said I didn't need one. "Honestly is the best policy" and "Start with Trust". Old cliches but it's the truth! After reading many 5 star reviews on various websites, I decided to come here to get the straight pipe and muffler on my car repaired (it was damaged from a pothole). Luckily they had the parts and I had the car by the end of the day. Price wise, it was 60 percent less then what the dealership was charging and a little less than the other places! Had rear brakes on my daughter's car put on - calipers, rotors and pads. A month and a half later, she was driving and heard sudden grinding noises. Luckily, she was very close to where she needed to be. We had to have it towed (to the dealer). The bolt fell off one of the calipers. It could have caused the wheel to lock and caused an accident. They put my daughter's life in danger with their gross negligence. I submitted a bill to them for the tow, dealer charges, the $50 coupon they were supposed to have applied to the job and also my time and mileage. I have called several times and got same response - 'I haven't heard back from my district manager'. They also said they would not compensate me for my time and mileage. It was a total of 4 hours of my time and he just laughed and said that is not how it works. I am contacting a lawyer. read more

Gotta give a shout out to this Midas location. My husband is a "car guy" and does most of his own work. But when he can't handle it ( or can't figure it out) this is his go-to place. They do excellent work, stand by their work and also are honest. On more than one occasion, they solved something that had baffled my husband, and it turned out to be a minor thing where they could have charged more, but charged a fair and reasonable price. read more

I took my 2011 Lexus RX 350 to the dealership and was told that I needed the rack and pinion replaced and that it would cost $4000. I then called around for alternative prices and Midas seemed reasonable so I made an appointment to have it replaced for about $2500. However when I got there, they inspected the vehicle and found a loose bolt in the area of the rack. They tightened it and charged me $40 for the time spent on labor. What was to have been $4000 from Lexus of Cherry Hill was $40 at Midas. I really appreciated their honesty and I'll never take my car anywhere else. The service manager here is excellent. read more

I WAS TOTALLY RIPPED OFF. Spent $975 On a set of four new tires with the advise of Ja@*n the manager Found out 2 days later that they were the WRONG TIRES FOR MY CAR. When I called to ask for help I was told they could not help me. Told "once you eat a steak you can't bring it back". How condescending. I even offered a solution that would cost them nothing and , again, got no cooperation. Was advised he needed to talk to his supervisor. Never heard back The workaround cost me $200 more. This place gave me the best experience I've ever had getting just a simple oil change. The price was standard, and they didn't pressure me to do a million other things, just the oil change. The mechanic also fixed the wiring on my clock, which had been out for about 5 years, on his own initiative and didn't charge me, which was really nice. There was a perfectly nice waiting room with magazines and a clean bathroom, and it didn't take long at all. I don't live near here, but I would definitely go back if I did! read more
