I just purchased tires using my firestone card and a week later they closed my account with no notice. Have been a longtime customer and made my payments on time. I brought my BMW in on April 14 for what started as a simple coolant leak. Nearly a month later--with repeated delays, no updates unless I called, and a string of broken promises--my car is now in worse condition than when I dropped it off. It no longer even starts. Despite sitting in their lot for two weeks, I was told to wait for their "best tech" to return from vacation. I trusted their judgment and was assured by Bobby Nolan that the car was in good hands. When I finally went in to pick it up--again, not because they called me, but because they promised it would be ready--I was told it had been test driven, but now wouldn't restart. No one bothered to inform me. I had to be there in person to find out. I'm not angry that they didn't know what was wrong. I'm upset because I asked, more than once, whether I should take it to a BMW specialist given the complexity. I was told no--it would be handled. Instead, the job was repeatedly pushed back for vacations, off-days, and likely other "simpler" jobs that were prioritized over mine. As a Navy veteran and physician, I have little time and a deep respect for professionalism. What I experienced here was the opposite. Very rude staff. Had our son's tires done here Monday July 6th. They didnt put them on correctly (according to a reputable mechanic) and now he has a flat tire and another very low tire...not even a month later! When we called to discuss this with them, the woman was very rude to him and called him a cheapskate and hung up on him. When we took car in, they never discussed which tires we had the option of buying nor did they offer to sell us warranties on the tires. I have taken multiple vehicles to the 17/van dyke firestone and never had a problem or encountered even an unpleasant employee. Here every employee we dealt with was incredibly rude and they did a horrible job installing the tires. I dont know why firestone keeps this location open. read more

Wife went here hoping to get reliable auto inspection and service. Had got a $600 estimate on some struts which I suspected we didn't need. Got a $1441 estimate for struts, labor costs a broken tie rod and alignment . At least 700 was labor costs. Even charged 70 to inspect the dome light my wife was worried about. The estimate read like a ripped to me. They demanded about $70 ( I originally posted $75) to get the car back. Wife went to another shop. They said car is fine didn't even charge to look at it. Don't go here unless you want to give your money away ETA: the labor estimate was more like $550 than $700 when I looked again. I sent the invoice like asked. Maybe I'll get my $69.83 back ETA. This answer from the business is bs. A week later and no follow up. Don't go here if you want to trust them to take care of you. read more

Ron the manager did a wonderful job by scheduling me in at the last minute to look at a noise I had. He is really good at keeping you informed. The other Firestone desk guy, not so much. When I asked the other guy to see what needed to be replaced, he wasn't that receptive to it. I had to ask twice--not impressed. As it It turns out it was a right wheel bearing that was worn and after some waiting, the part they received was for the wrong side of the vehicle so more waiting occurred than it had to. Other than that, I was impressed with Ron and how informative he was and took care of me. They have a waiting room with complimentary coffee, but it does not taste good at all. They also have a TV for your viewing pleasure. After waiting 5 hours, I was glad there was one. Waiting that long can be very painful. read more

Brought my vehicle in for a simple front wheel alignment. After waiting for over two hours I get told that I need an adjustable camber bolt. an additional $120 to the already $210 for the lifetime alignment. My vehicle was worse than when I brought it in as the steering wheel pulled hard to the left. No big deal they'll fix it when I bring it back in. Today I brought it back in and after an hour and a half, they tell me that now I'm going to need a control arm. An additional $600!!! One control arm from the Nissan dealership is $75. This place BS and the people that work here are liars. I told them to put my truck down and give me a refund and my keys back. read more

Had a flat that needed to be changed. Arrived at Belle Tire at 8AM and was told the one tire would take 5-6 hours and they don't accept appointment for flats (Troy location). Ron, the head guy, is awesome! He was thorough and help get my car checked out quickly. First, he gave me the discount rate for the oil change even before I mentioned the coupon. Second, he had the mechanic fix my tire (that was messed up by another service location) free of charge. Third, he checked out the other parts of the car and fixed the small leak I had going on. Finally, I overheard him be honest with a customer and refer them to another service place because they could offer a better price for a specialty repair. Very cool. I went there last week for new tires , good prices and nice service the only reason I am giving 4 stars is the optional road hazards insurance they added to my price quote without asking me first and I knew only because the quote online was cheaper than the one I got in store. I ended up getting it but I like to be asked before you add extra optional charge to my bill. Definitely going back when car service is needed. read more

I will give them 0 as rating if possible. I scheduled an appointment to get tires installed and wheels alignment done for tires purchased from tirerack.com. I showed up 30 minutes early for my appointment at 8:30 AM. I decided to leave my car and take an uber to my work, even though I was advised the job will be done in 2 hours. I called in late afternoon and I was told it will be done around 4:30 PM. I showed up at 6 PM to pick up my car and they haven't even started the installation. I told the guy at the counter that I also scheduled for alignment. He absolutely lied and told me that it's not on the work order. I was flabbergasted with the dishonesty because not only I asked for alignment when I made the appointment, I also asked for it when I dropped off my car. Then I agreed only for tire installation and I was told that they are taking in the car immediately. I noticed at 6:20 PM that my car is still in parting lot (please keep in mind that they close at 7 PM). I asked for my car key and left. I wasted the whole day, spent money on uber to go to work and return. No courtesy from anyone at Firestone. This is the worst place possible. And worst customer service I have ever experienced! read more

No stars really...So I took my car in for 3 issues. 900 dollars later still not fixed, take car back, want to have me spend another 1000. I agree to pay only for a part, leave my car. They accuse me of lying about the issues. I dont hear anything for 3 days, then I get a call that they had my car towed to the dealership without my consent. I call the dealership- they dont have my car. Car is missing. Finally find my car- at a muffler shop down the street. I have towed to me, and take it to the dealership myself. The dealership finds out what is wrong after 20 minutes. Had to beg firestone to pay for the repairs they didnt do. Also they seem to have omitted things off my invoice sent to the district manager that are on the one I have. Very suspicious. Never again. read more

The employees here seem to be upset when you walk in here, pretty unpleasant people that do not like to be inconvenienced. Not communicative about what is going on or the status of your vehicle. This shop cannot do alignment correctly. Ron does not even know what 0.1 degree is. Whatever service they have, technician, equipment and manager, my steering ended up becoming off-center. Besides, they could not do what I asked for which is: to set the toe-in to max spec. Ron thinks this cannot be done. I had to have the alignment corrected by another shop because it was pointless to go back to this shop. The other shop was able to do it. read more

If I could I would give this place zero stars. Took my car in January to get brakes fix but brakes still was making grinding sound after the fact. Apparently they didn't believe me because I took my car back 4 times after that for the same issue before they realize that I also needed back brakes. Also don't leave your car without staying in the waiting room because they will give you a time frame and don't go follow through with it about working on your car. I called multiple times to see if they check my car and their response is "we are about to check give us few minutes and we will call you back to see what we find". Or " your car is next some will call you before a certain time". Needless to say they don't call back. Anyways Now I am back 4 months later for brakes that are making a squeaking noise and back a week later for another noise with my brakes. I'm so tired of coming here wasting my time for their mistakes. read more
