After having my vehicle serviced at this location, I discovered issues that did not exist prior to bringing my car in. I returned to the store to address the matter and spoke with the front desk representative named Tom. During this conversation, Tom became verbally aggressive, raised his voice, used inappropriate and profane language, and ultimately told me to leave and never return. The situation escalated further, resulting in police involvement and the filing of an official report. In addition, Tom forcefully slammed the door against my leg, causing me physical pain and ongoing discomfort. First time for tire balance, I have their lifetime tire alignment and they performed alignment fairly quick, they do provide pre and post alignment specs which is great for reference. Visited time for a flat repair, where they accommodated me in their busy schedule. Charged a nominal flat fee for flat tire fix and did a great job. Tim from this location should be fired. I went in to have a patch put in my tire and when the started to remove the tire for a screw in the middle of the tire tread. The machine used to remove the tire punctured the side wall. I had a professional look at it. They said take pictures and report their bad business practices. When they wanted to charge me over $300 for a new tire I told them to put the wheel back on and I'll go to a reputable place. After I said that they gave me back the car with my spare tire. I prefer to have my wheel/tire work done by a wheel/tire store rather than the dealer because they have much more experience. That said, my recent experience at Firestone was really quite good. Used them to install TPMS, mount and road force balance new rims for my G Wagon. Work was done promptly, professionally and flawlessly all at a cost that I found reasonable. STAY AWAY. If you're elderly, you are going to get ripped off. Actually, you're going to get ripped off regardless since their prices are outrageous. Lent my relatively new car to my mother for a week. Before returning it to me, she brought the car here to get the car checked out. Bad move. The guys here pushed tons of unnecessary services onto the car. If it was possible, they did it. Brake fluids, brakes, cabin air filter, engine air filter, fuel cleaning, etc. They fleeced her badly. Charged her $150 for fuel system cleaning. This is a popular scam. You can look it up online. They pour in a $5 bottle of addictive to the gas. Charged $70 for an air filter! The air filter costs about $9 and takes about 5 minutes to replace in the glove compartment. These guys must be getting rich ripping people off. I mean this seriously. I don't know how they sleep at night. UPDATE: I was shocked. After a year, I just changed the cabin air filter myself and looked at the filter Firestone had installed previously. The thing was garbage! It's something you would get at a dollar store. Maybe a pack of 20 for $10. It was paper thin and flimsy. If you're going to charge $70 for the cabin filter, at least use a filter that's a few bucks! read more

I took my car to this establishment to get a new tire on my car as my tire blew out in a pot hole. I ordered the tire, paid in full and was told to come in the next day to have it placed. I came after work waited for 45 min and job was done. Got in my car drove home(1mile away) being very careful of anymore pot holes. Just left here about 5 mins ago and I'm fuming, I had to pull over to write this as I promised the scammer who tried to rip me off more than I already was ripped off. I come in yesterday to see about my brakes since I heard a little squeaking noise, they checked it and told me everything was good, and sent me on my merry way. Anyway, 3 jump starts and a tow truck later I get it there, all of a sudden now I need an alternator. Then this guy quoted me a price tries to push a battery on me to hike the price up even more and I declined the battery since they were more than capable to charge it up since it was about a year old and with a new alternator it should charge it. I return today he gives me a price that was nowhere near what he quoted me I said that is not what I agreed he's like oh wait that is with tax I say you quoted me the price with the tax, I say even if that was the price with tax there is no way the tax would take it that high. He realized the error and fixed the taxes, where does he think we are California smh but I was still charged more than the original quote. Just don't go here they are shady. read more

I just had my vehicle serviced at Firestone and again I am very happy with their work. I was a little pressed for time and the team accommodated me and got the work done fast! The timeframe to get the work done was exactly as they quoted me. They are very courteous and always go out of their way to do a great job at this shop! I also want to mention that I observed a belligerent customer getting loud with the Service Manager of the location. The customer in this case was not "right" and he was very rude to the manager to the point where it seemed the customer was getting aggressive! I was VERY impressed to see the Manager stayed calm, respectful and listened to that customers complaints never turning negative himself and was polite!! At Firestone, they made it sound like I would be broken down on the side of the of the road if I didn't shell out hundreds of dollars to get the repairs they suggested that day. I declined and took my car to a reputable mechanic who shook his head and laughed and said that nothing they told me at Firestone was true. I was able to confirm over the phone and the employee told me to bring the car in. I came at my expected appointment time but was told my car wouldn't be seen as they were backed up. I would have appreciated if they would've told me it was impossible when I first called than to waste my time. What started out as a negative experience turned into a great experience at this location. Took the car for a patch on a tire and explained the situation to the tech. Left the car and called us 3 hours later and explained why they could not fix and now needed a new tire due to a company policy. Very frustrating. Eventually, the manager, Joe got on the phone and politely explained the situation and agreed to work with us on the costs. We agreed and we went to pick up the car. Upon arrival, met with Joe who covered the full costs due to the incorrect information that we were given. 4 hours ago Awful experience. I made an appointment for a free brake inspection as advertised on their website, got there 5 minutes late at 3:20 p.m. because I was coming from work. The first older gentleman, was welcoming and nice, took my keys and I sat down patiently. Long story short, I sat there until 4:35 with my car still sitting in their lot waiting for the brake inspection. During my time while sitting there, no one ever assured me as to how much longer I would have to wait. I finally got up, approached the counter, addressed the guy as "Sir", nicely asked the clerk, a younger tall white guy with a brunette hair cut and dark eyes (Mark?) seemed very smug and standoffish as I asked for the return of my car keys. He Handed me the keys as he looked away hurriedly to handle another task, if my hands did not meet his hands right that second, they would have fell to the floor. Not even an insincere apology from him, he did not even look me in my eyes. Very weird energy from him. He looked at me as if I was a bother. I don't throw this word around loosley, I'm Black; perhaps he was not fond of my color..I dunno? I'm very respectful to everybody, so his attitude was off putting. (Shrug) As I was sitting there waiting prior to leaving, He seemed nicer and gracious to other customers who happened to be White. But I will never be returning here again. read more

I am very annoyed after going to this location. I had an appointment for an oil change at 3 I arrived 10 minutes early and gave them my keys. After 45 minutes of waiting I look outside to see progress and realize they haven't even put my car in to get anything done. I asked how long it will take because I'm 9 months pregnant and I get uncomfortable and I was told it couldn't be seen for another hour. Why make an appointment if they wanted me to wait 2 hours for an oil change? I decided to just get my car keys back and leave. Great to deal with, don't try to sell me on a bunch of services I don't want. Dropped in without an appointment at 5:15 pm on a Friday night to get 2 new tires put on the car along with a wheel alignment and they had me in an out in less than an hour, plus it was the best deal on new tires I could find in the area. I moved out here from California, where I had bought lifetime wheel alignment on my car, and they had no trouble pulling up my car's info on the computer in the Livingston office.
