god where to begin with this? honestly some of this is on me for being dumb enough to come back. countless appointments where I've shown up at my scheduled time, only for them to wait until the last possible second to finish it. Have you ever waited in a Firestone for eight hours because I certainly have. countless times where I've come in for one problem, spent hundreds of dollars, only for the problem to not actually be fixed. I've even had no less than three appointments where I've been called and told they cant actually fufill my appointment. first time was reasonable enough at the day before, another was twenty minutes before, and one was FIVE. HOURS. after I had dropped off my car. not only that, I've had my struts, wheel bearing, sway bars, and exhaust system fixed here a little over a year ago. now, since I'm outside of the warranty coverage, suddenly every single one of those parts are broken and need replaced. it feels like every day I remember a new way this store absolutely screwed me over without ever once actually helping me. I wish I had read the reviews before coming here! Called the day before and made the appointment! I explained that the car was a fleet lease and just needed serviced. Person made the appointment but other than my name and number took no other information. Dropped the car off 30 minutes early and explained I am waiting! 1 1/2 hours later car has not moved I walk in and I'm told they just got it approved! Maybe if they had taken more info while making the appointment! Either way by now reading other reviews it shows your time is not important to these people! read more

Went here a prior week for service on a oil change, inspection and rear suspension noise. It is a company car and they were supposed to have documentation on file regarding the work, the lady manager then disclosed to me I would have to pay out of pocket and my company would reimburse me, which is inaccurate to what my company discussed with me for service visits. I did not choose to get service here that day. Two weeks later I come in for just a oil change and tire tread check. The lady manager heavy set with sass had told me 1 hr 30min for the service. Car sat for 1hr and 5 min before pulled into bay, and 46 min later it was serviced. 1 hr and 51 min. I waited for those two issues. Tire tread was not documented as asked or noted. A inspection was not done as needed by my company and the oil was changed. Would not recommend this establishment unless female manager steps down or is transferred. Her know-it all demeanor is unacceptable and her attitude needs to be more professional. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. went in for noisy car. Was told all 4 tires are bad ($715) and shocks and mounts needed replaced ($535). Called around and got tires price of $540...and suddenly that's the same price firestone could do. Who do you think would have pocketed the extra (almost) $200? The salesman? The manager? Then took car to 2 other shops...and they both said shocks and mounts didn't need replaced. Both of them said the same thing. Then firestone mgr said he didn't say they needed replaced now...it was just a recommendation...I guess in case I wanted to spend another $535 on the car for the heck of it, because that's typically what people do right? Btw...he did tell me the shocks were bad. So save yourself some money and find a reputable place somewhere else cuz this place isn't! read more

We had our car break down with a belt failure and a busted alternator on a road trip. They did a great job of diagnosing and fixing the problem, and responded clearly and immediately when we called to find out how long things would take. We were given good estimates and clear information on what work was being done and why. Gordon, Dan, and Steve were all very helpful. Scammers. Only reason I went here first is because it was close. Brought my car in for some issues with the engine, they told me it MIGHT need a new air pump which in total would be $990 and that it might not even be the actual problem. It sounded risky to me so I declined the service, they made me pay $100 for the engine diagnostics, and I had it checked out by a mechanic my friend recommended. He told me there was nothing wrong with the air pump and did some minor repairs and had it running with no problems for $150 total and has been runnning for months. Stopped in to inquire about tires and while I was waiting my turn I witnessed the manger be extremely rude and aggressive to an elderly gentleman. The poor guy walked out in shame. I was horrified by the lack of respect and poor customer service the manager displayed. Needless to say I left after witnessing such poor treatment of an elderly man. I will not do business with this Firestone after witnessing that. I hope other locations have better policy's. read more

When you send your kids away for college, you want to have a mechanic you can trust. THIS IS NOT THE CASE with this facility. My son came in for a scheduled oil change for 9am. At 11am (2 hours later) I get a phone call to go over what needs done with the car, and that my son can come back in half hour to pick up the car. He gets there, and it was for a totally different car. Finally at 12 pm (3 hrs later) they take the car in for service. I then get a phone call of a list of items they found that need repaired. One item is a nail in the left rear tire and that it cannot be reparied but would need replaced. I had them complete the oil change and told them I would take it back to where I got the tires form since it is warrantied. My son got up early next day and went to another location to find out it was a pebble. A mechanic that cannot tell the difference between a pebble and a nail. GEEZ! And was trying to charge me for new tires. BUYER BEWARE AND SHAME ON YOU FIRESTONE! I just feel sorry for the families that have been had by this place. read more

Can't give negative stars or even zero, so I'm going above and beyond to give the 1 star. I'll start by saying NEVER AGAIN!!! Gave them the benefit of the doubt, after taking 6 hours to change oil in two of our cars. Went back this last time needing oil changes on both cars and rear brakes on our third. Car #1 we were told has leaking head gasket after we denied them to flush our coolant, then turn around and say they're not touching it after oil change because of gasket yet charged us for the flush. 3 year old car, kept on maintenance, took to dealership and they explained essentially that these people are not knowledgeable, car is fine. Car #2, not even a year old gets oil change, one month later A/C unit goes out. Take to dealership, first thing they ask is who did your oil change because they moved your A/C wiring and both wires are now shredded. AWESOME!!! Car #3 really only needed the slider pin pulled on rear caliper but went ahead and had them do brakes, rotors and calipers, to the tune of over $800... LOL!!! Offered to do fronts for $400+ but I said no thanks, I got it. So the third car I can't complain aside from price gauging. Now the other two, you have got me *#?!%ed up. How in the hell are people who basically destroy people's vehicles allowed to work on them. Anyhow, in short, you may get lucky and have them just do quick maintenance but more than likely will find yourself with issues you didn't have prior. Hope they get sued. And their manager is condescending and arrogant, which is funny, because she is just as clueless as the staff. Good luck. Go somewhere else. read more

I made an appointment for a simple oil change at 8 in the morning. I got the early so they had time to do the paper work. My car sat there for 35 minutes and after I questioned the lack of activity, they said they only had 1 tech. Why make customers wait when you know there was no way the 8 am oil change was going to happen. Do yourself a favor, go elsewhere. Poorly run and even worse customer relations. read more

stopped in for an alignment , I have a lifetime alignment on my 94 Toyota. The bad -I sat for 1 hour 45 minutes for them to tell me they couldnt do it, to do it correctly they want $518.61 to replace 2 tie rod ends and alignment, did I mention I have a lifetime alignment on this car. I wish people would listen when I talk. The GOOD NEWS I went to Firestone at Chapel Hill Mall 2 dayz later ,they had me in and out within 45 minutes, they aligned all 4 tires (unexpected) only asked for the front to be done,THANK YOU and didnt find any extra work that needed to be done. From walking into firestone asking for helping to driving my car off the lot, my experience is always 10/10. The staff is so helpful and they're always working hard to get your vehicle fixed and back to you as soon as possible. Ryan is always taking the time to explain to me what exactly is wrong with my car and what the employment will be doing to fix the problem. The friendly atmosphere makes car trouble less stressful. Also, they give KSU students a small discount so that is nice too. read more
