AVOID THIS PLACE First, I know cars and tires. They marched the Costco price on a set of Blizzak snow tires. Once I dropped off, they called me shortly after and told me two TPMS sensors were broken and i should replace all four for $575 and that I needed alignment done for $179. I had new TPMS installed and the car aligned less than I year prior so I knew to reject this. They called back later to explain they must have looked at the wrong work order and everything was working properly. Now that's its light outside, I just realized they installed tires from 2021. To have one year old tires is normal, but four years is completely unacceptable. This place is scamming people are up charges and installing old stock tires. Avoid using them. I buy quality tires and am the fleet manager with over 100 vehicles for my company. It was a good price, but don't risk it by going here. read more

This tire shop will charge you for everything. I came in for rear tires replacement. After a day, my TPM sensor lit up on my dashboard. I made an appointment to have it checked under warranty considering they replaced my rear tires that obviously damaged my TPM sensor during the process. The lady on the counter right away quoted me for labor for checking the sensor that they've damaged, sighting they needed to change the TPM sensor kit because they changed the tires? HUH? I only came in there to have my tires replaced and not the TPM sensor. I do maintainance on my cars for years and I hate going to auto shops and dealerships because they always do something to your car to make you come back to spend more money, it always happens all the time. I brought my car to Firestone because the check engine light came on with code P0171. On my first visit, they performed a complete vehicle inspection and multiple services, including checking the engine sensors and fuel system, and made repairs they said would fix the issue. I paid $966, but after driving the car, the check engine light was still on. On my second visit, I spoke again with the same mechanic I had met before and agreed to move forward with additional repairs. He confirmed it was the same code as the first visit, but explained that another issue related to that code had appeared. I replaced the rear oxygen sensor, paying an additional $366, however the problem still has not been resolved and the check engine light remains on. I was disappointed with the front desk representative, who provided incorrect information about the code and denied warranty coverage. While I understood that I needed to pay, the lack of transparency and her attitude were frustrating. I chose Firestone because it is a large, well-known company. I hope the store can review my case and improve their diagnostic process and customer service so other customers do not experience the same situation. read more

My car tire got a flat tire and I went to them to get the tire checked.After checking, they told me that there was a cut in the tire of your house and it could not be driven.Whereas for the past two months I had been driving with air in the tires every ten to fifteen days.I told them that there is no problem, you fix the tire, where else should I go and get it checked? They changed the tire without asking me and charged me $185. The same tire is priced at 50 to 70 dollars in Casco. I was very pleased with my first visit to Firestone 23JUN2024. My car overheated, and luckily, I was only two minutes away. I called, and Heavenly accommodated me right away. She went above and beyond with her customer service, even sending me updates using her personal number because for some reason my incoming calls diverts to my other number, so she was texting me instead. However, today 12th july at 10am was a different story, I called to address this issue and was assisted by a lady (i dont know her name!) who was not accommodating or helpful. She insisted that the brakes were not included in the service and suggested that I pay an additional $299 or whatever for a package to check them again. According to my report, the brakes were indeed checked and marked as "accepted." My concern is why, after such a recent check, I am now experiencing this issue. This lady's lack of helpfulness and insistence on additional charges was frustrating. She merely suggested I book an appointment for tomorrow and speak with Heavenly, without addressing my immediate concern or offering a reasonable solution. Additionally, I hope that even small details, such as refilling the wiper fluid, would have been attended to if it was noticed to be empty. Considering that I mentioned i'm a singlemom driving with 3 kids with limited knowledge about cars and my willingness to pay for a thorough service, I expected these basics to be covered. Also that lady should not be in your frontdesk or work as a customer service representative ****update 12JULY 4pm So i ended up driving my car to my friend's house who knows about cars. It was discovered that my brake pads were excessively worn down to the metal, a critical safety issue that should have been identified and addressed during firestones' "courtery check" As a customer who prioritizes safety, especially while driving with my 3 children, I am deeply concerned and disappointed by this oversight. I relied on Firestone's reputation for quality service and expertise in automotive care, yet the discrepancies between the service report provided and the actual condition of my vehicle indicate a significant lapse in your service standards. This experience has not only inconvenienced me but also compromised the safety of my family. " So I don't know why that would be marked good on your inspection report that got emailed." They did a brake job front and back cost me $1400 meantime i took it back because of all the noise i was geting from the front and rear, the first time they said they couldn't find anything wrong, i started hearing metal rattling took it back they told me my rear calipers were bad i let them replace them for another $700 dollars fast forward a year and the rear calipers were leaking and i had no brake fluid in my car. After having a terrible experience with the Covington Firestone where they would not honor my lifetime all wheel alignment and wanted to charge me an extra $400 due to a service bulletin that requires them to remove to nuts I refused to pay so they refused to do the work. They cancelled my appointment with zero notice. I scheduled an appointment to get an oil leak checked out on Friday for Sunday afternoon. I showed up for my appointment at 2 and they told me their technician had already left for the day! They told me they called to cancel/reschedule with all online orders but I never received a call, I checked. And of course, since they cancelled on a Sunday there wasn't a single other Firestone or any other shop open for appointments for the next few days. I ended up having to drive home, of course leaking oil the whole way. I'm going to have to try and fix the leak myself, terrible customer service! Don't schedule a repair here unless you're ready for them to tell you to shove off. Service is pathetic, I got stuck with this firestone for 2 days and 4 trips to get tire change. With no wait time estimate for whole days. They put wrong tire on 1st day and next day charged more for the right tire with no wait time estimate or courtesy to squeeze you in. This was just one tire replacent not even all four. Not organized at all. Setup a 8am appointment to install 4 tires I had shipped there, was told it would take 1-1.5 hours. Arrived promptly at 8am but they didn't even ask for my keys until almost 9am, which I told them I couldn't wait any longer and left. Rescheduled for the following week, but I didn't trust them to be punctual so I opted to drop it off for the day. Called this Kent store (while at the Covington store who treated us awful) asked if they could get my daughter's car in for a flat repair. "Sure, no problem, can you leave it with us for a bit?" Absolutely, no problem I replied...and headed their way. I didn't get the name of the nice man I first talked to, but Tara was super nice, friendly and attentive when we got there. Paul was also super nice. Since the tire was off the car, we offered to just leave the tire and come back. Before leaving Daniel spotted the new leak and it was too close to the old one, so they ordered us a new tire, and they'll change it, then tomorrow we'll come back and have them put it on. All the most professional, customer service oriented group. This store was super busy...compared to Covington who had 2 cars in their bay. Not surprisingly! I ordered a set of new tires from TireRack.com. This Firestone location was the closest location on their approved list of installers. I noticed the terrible Yelp reviews, but thought to myself, "It's only a tire mounting. How can they screw that up?" They managed to. The tires I ordered have an asymmetric tread pattern. This means that they need to be mounted with the "outside" part of the tire facing outwards. As you would expect, this is clearly labeled on the tire itself. It reads "outside" or "inside" right on the sidewall. After the installation, I drove the few miles to work. Before walking in, I fortunately decided to inspect the tires and noticed that 2 of the 4 tires had the "inside" side facing outward. While on a normal vehicle, this simply would mean improper performance of the tread design, and probably some uneven wear on the tires. However, I have a Subaru Outback, and this could have potentially caused damage to the all-wheel drive system. You're a tire company. Firestone. How are you not able to install the tires correctly? The tires are literally labeled "inside" and "outside" right on the sidewalls. They readily admitted the error and quickly fixed the issue, which I do appreciate. But a less detailed person would not have caught this issue, and unfortunately it's indicative of either shoddy hiring or training. read more

I shop around each time and always end up at Firestone on 240th in Kent. Yes, you can get less expensive but they are cheaper. I always get many thousands of miles over the tire rating. read more

If I can rate No Star I would. We were asked to drop off the truck for oil change earliest possible so it could be done by 11am-ish. They open at 7:00 am so we went there at 7:30 am and the place is still closed. We waited 10-15 minutes and decided to leave. I called at 8:00 am and someone picked up the phone and I asked the reason for not opening at 7:00 am and she explained that someone called in sick and not even apologetic. We went there again and was told it's not going to be ready at 5:00 pm today or we have to come back next Wednesday at 8:00 am!!!! Initially I came for a flat tire. I found this place appealing as I had found that they are open at 7 am! Yes! That is just what a working person needs. I explained my situation and they said that they would look at my tires and go from there. I had one that was pretty bald so the decision was made to replace 2 of the 4. I was told that the tires would be at a special price and I would be out in about an hour. That is pretty good for a walk in at 7 am on a Wednesday morning. I was told that I needed to come back in a few weeks to get the tires aligned, which I was told was free. Turns out, my alignment is WAY off and there needs to be some work done on the tie rods and balls. Ok... but I don't have 600$. So I will have to wait. Looking at the quote the alignment was NOT free. Randy helped me both times and seems to run things smoothly.
