Used to come here all the time for oil changes until I moved in 2021. The service was always smooth and the wait was always quick. I recently started working close by though and have been to the location about 6 times in the past 6 months trying to get my oil changed, and been informed that they are either experiencing issues or are short staffed that day, so even though there's only one car ahead of me, there's a big wait (like 30+ minutes). Whatever, I have gotten my oil changed elsewhere on those occasions. Today though I needed my oil changed before I took a little road trip after work. I went on my lunch break and they said they were working on a fleet for a rental car company so I may want to come back later. I came back after my shift, and was able to get in within 15 minutes. Score! However, Dylan and McKenzie were definitely not on the same page. Dylan was clearly frustrated as McKenzie was rushing him for my milage, and details of my car while he was still greeting me and getting my information, not even to the screen he needed to be on to get my milage yet. She also almost hit in in the face with what I think was my dipstick and he had to cover his face and dodge it. I was 100% on team Dylan at first, but then McKenzie came over to get another piece of information as he was explaining the oil options to me, and he snapped at her and told her to never do that again. He apologized to me - presumably for the disruption - but I really hope he also apologized to her for snapping at her like that, especially in front of a customer. I totally get being frustrated with either a situation or a coworker, but there are better ways to handle that, and being disrespectful to them and borderline yelling is not the way to do it. Overall, seems like they need better processes to get info to each other, and maybe need to understand respectful communication a bit better. I'll probably be back for the convenience aspect, but if I can go somewhere else for my oil changes I probably will. read more

THESE PEOPLE HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I got an oil change here less than 1 month ago. It was my second time visiting as I recently relocated to the area and there isn't my beloved Valvoline close by. I drove just under 1000 miles so far with standard high mileage vehicle 3000 miles recommended until next service. Last Saturday I was driving to Portland and thought I had a popped tire- My car suddenly started shaking and was hard to control. Pulled over off the closest exit and found all tires to be intact, but my engine seizing. Car wouldn't start up again and never did again. Called a tow truck and explained the situation and the FIRST thing he asked was: Have you had your oil changed at Jiffy Lube recently? Apparently these dimwits are NOTORIOUS for this crap. My engine had ZERO oil. I usually can go 5000 miles without a change, they only advise the 3000 as my car had high mileage. I have never had any problem with a leak, receive regular oil changes, and had just had my alternator replaced and engine cleared with 100% by Jeff's Auto in Renton just a few days earlier. It was running like new before I made the mistake of letting Jiffy Lube mess everything up. All I can say is DO BETTER FOR YOURSELF AND YOUR CAR AND GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!!! I JUST LOST $7,000+ towing and cost of a new vehicle ALL BECAUSE THESE GUYS DONT CARE AND DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. As soon as I have full diagnostics from my mechanic I will be contacting a legal representative for further assistance. Jiffy Lube will pay for their TERRIBLE GOD AWFUL ENGINE SEIZING SERVICE. All mechanics present at the time of my service should be TERMINATED. Thanks for destroying my trusted and dearly loved Highlander. Employees here and fun and friendly. Say what you will about their sales tactics. They will try to sell you air filters for twice the going rate but will often give you a discount if you ask. Always ask if there are any deals in the system, they will often give you a discount on oil as well. read more

There are multiple Jiffy Lubes in Kent that are closer to me but I choose to come to this one because they give the best service. They are fast and communicate great, explaining everything they are doing. They tell you the other services they suggest that should be done soon but aren't being pushy about it. read more

do not go here. they charged my wife $54.99 for an air filter. ($12-$16 anywhere else). of course, they threw in a $20 "coupon" to look good, but they still charged more than double the normal price. unfortunately, my wife didn't know any better and paid that price. i know i should have warned her to never get anything done except the oil change, but i forgot. and now we're out 20 bucks. lesson learned. Edit: i got a call back from the jiffy lube and got they will knock $12 off the next oil change. the woman said corporate sets the price so they have no control. no way for me to know how true that statement is. so, i'm updating to 3 stars since they at least called me back after i complained. go there for oil change, but i would not recommend getting anything else done due to corporate pricing policy. read more

So I been going to this jiffy lube a while back like 2-3yrs ago. And I'll never go back ever. Here's why...stupid mechanic try to sell me new air filter a new belt and charged me $8.99 per quart because they said that my car was a quart low when I took it in for oil change. Bullshit! If you change the oil in your car 3 times a year, you don't need to change out the belt or air filter every time you go in. There's no oil leak from the engine so how is it low on oil every time I went for a service? Unless they sabotage my car for their gain. Never trust these franchise anymore. Thought I share the backstabbing experience I had from these morons. They're fucking con artist. read more

First time having Jiffy Lube change my oil. I figured I would try it since you had a Groupon. The staff there was excellent. As soon as I pulled up they acknowledged me and said they would be with me in a moment. Jeremy helped me and he was so friendly. Explained everything that they would do and told me all the services they offered. He then told me I could wait in the waiting area and he would come get me when they were done with my car. When he was done he came and got me, went over the things they did to my car and asked if I had any questions. I wasn't expecting that they would take time and go over things so I was impressed with that. I will definitely recommend to my friends and family to go to Jiffy Lube. I wanted to thank the guys one more time for great customer service. I hope the company will recognize them for working so good and so professionally. I didn't hear one cuss word and I really appreciated that. Usually when I take my car into a shop you overhear the guys talking and they swear a lot. Jeremy and Travis were super helpful, friendly, and informative. Being a woman I often find that guys who work at auto repair/ lube shops are annoyed when I ask questions because they don't want to explain everything to someone who knows nothing about cars, OR they just pitch me the most expensive thing because they know I'm uninformed. I was so impressed and grateful for the transparency provided by both Jeremy and Travis, they explained all my options to me so that I was able to choose what I thought was appropriate. I came in a little close to closing time and they still treated me with utmost kindness and respect, and did not at all seem like they were trying to rush me out the door, which I appreciated. Jeremy listed the full detailed report once the oil change was finished and I left feeling satisfied that my car was well cared for and that I was appreciated as a customer. Dear Manager, I really wish I could give you guys more stars. But the truth is, I really don't know why we've kept coming back to this location. Maybe other JiffyLubes are different, better? Because I've finally had it with ya'll and I've seen no improvements over the years we've been repeat customers. Biggest Complaint? You wash our friggin' windows with a nasty, DIRTY rag & water. There are literally muddy streaks on every window. How does no one notice this? How does your employee wash every window with gucky brown water and think 'yes, this is good' ?? I think most of the basics are there, I like getting the coupon and we get the itemized rundown each time. I appreciate the vacuum job too. But I'm still pissed about the huge arcing scratches on our windshield after your employee applied the Rain-X a year or two ago. And I'm pretty annoyed that the last THREE times we've come in for our oil change, within just a few days one our lights burns out. It MAY just be a coincidence - but the bulbs only burn out when we've just recently been in for our oil change. It seems to me that your staff turnover rate is high, and you're struggling to find knowledgeable staff who actually care and want to do a good job. After so many muddy windows - I think you owe us a car wash at the very least. And unfortunately - you've lost our business for good.
