I needed a new tire for my 2018 Hyundai Tucson...I had one that got a nail through the sidewall and couldn't be repaired. But it still had a lot of tread left, and I also don't drive this car much since the pandemic, so it wasn't worth buying a new set or even one new tire from a regular tire shop. I called and left a message, and they got back to me via SMS shortly thereafter. They let me know that they did have the size I needed and the price, and we chatted about hours and when I'd be there (the next day) I got there, pulled into the lot, and they remembered texting with me the day before. We walked over to the pile of tires in that size and they quickly found one with a similar tread pattern and tread life as the one it was replacing. Took about 10 minutes for them to take the old tire off the rim and install the new-to-me one and I was on my way. They were friendly and fast, and the price was great, to boot! My review is late but the shop popped up on my yelp so here's my review. 5 stars ! Back in August I had my tire pop on the way back from spokane. My aunt recommended pjs because as soon as everyone (other shops not pjs) heard my tire size immediately they want to upcharge especially since I'm a female. When I called they quoted me a price range but asked to bring in so they can see my tire tread (I have Firestone tires all the way around) they got me a comparable tire to match the rest. And they put the spare back where it goes it was done so quick and efficiently ! I got the best bang for my buck and got a real tire on instead of my hefty spare. Will definitely be going back if needing another tire I was estimated elsewhere $90+ and pjs did my pockets good $60 I believe it was and not a cheap tire given either. Tires for my car are apparently hard to come by. After calling a few used tire shops, PJ's said they didn't have exactly what I needed but they had something that would work. Fast forward a few weeks later, my tire gives out since I had needed them to be replaced for months (I'm a dumbass, I know). I went to the closest place, they didn't have anything. I remembered calling PJ's so I headed over. They checked the tire size I needed again, and low and behold, they had two! Both of the dudes changing tires were very nice. Even joked around a little with me. I'll definitely be giving PJ's my business from here on out. read more

Our car was stolen in Kent and the police recovered, but with all 4 tires slashed. My 20 year old son who is working there for a few months (not anymore) contacted TJs and found tires totaling close to $600. He explained he would not have the money for a couple more days (pay day) but asked if he could have our AAA tow the car there and have the tires put on then. They told him no. He could not bring the car there until he had all the money. NOW, I look online and see how they advertise payment arrangements?? This was never offered to him or even mentioned or we would have done it and AAA would have brought the car there. Done and over. Not even a need for monthly payments because he would have paid in full. However, a few hours later, the police were called and at that point, they considered the car abandoned and is now with another greedy and rude impound yard where they want $1400 to get it out. Pretty sad that older generations want to scream at the younger generation "get a job, work hard, get out of your mom's basement", but when they DO try to handle their business and are motivated and DO work extremely hard, states away from their home, they're met by those same screaming people who blow them off and discard them with their selfishness and greed. read more

I don't know what happened to this place but, two hours later my tire was flat. Now I have to waist gas, take the tire off and bring it back., let's see if they give me a discount after leaving with bad custom service. It was to late to call. I'll update after I return to the tire shop. I'm freaking ticked off. Let's see how good their customer service is. The used tires they have are not name brand so its not a comparison to your other local tire shops. I came here thinking it would be close to 70-80% off they more than likely get the tires for next to nothing from dealerships, other tire shops etc. Because they have to pay to dispose of them unless some one takes them. The tires I got were $80 for 2 and the exact same ones on other sites (cant say names due to terms and conditions) were $118.00 brand newinstalled. So $38 savings was not worth the sacrifice of buying used instead of new. If you go here and want to save money pick out the tires before they are installed. read more

They offer great deals, but be sure you check their work yourself. Bought 4 tires at a good deal. Got home and realized I got three Michein tires and a knockoff. When I got back to Bonney lake, I realized this error, as the knockoff went flat. Now, sitting here and they don't know what to do. Very irritating and useless waste of time and money. Buy local so there's the least amount of wasted time returning. read more

I did not make it to the location to purchase tires. The person who answered the phone was a bit gruff (mechanic style gruff, not just general jackassery kind of gruff) but he was very helpful. Absolutely horrible customer service. The man who "owns it", the older dude, is honestly so rude. I appreciate the man who came out to actually look and check on my tires. But the man was about to make $300 off of us and was extremely rude the entire time. Thankfully, was able to go budget and not only were they nice, they gave me a much better deal. Work on your disgusting attitude man. Don't work in the service industry if you don't wanna provide the service. I used to come here when I was 18, and they took great care. Now... the trump effect has taken over and this dudes an entitled jerk. So upsetting. read more

I went in to replace a used tire that I bought there in the first place. The valve had an issue and kept losing air in the tire. Then it got a bubble from driving on it when it was losing air. The guy was very argumentative and kept telling me it was from hitting a curb. It was on the drivers side which you do not park against a curb on that side to begin with unless you are parked illegally. So I asked for a price on a tire and he gave me a very high price. I just bought all four tires from them about 50 days before this incident. When I told him I bought all four of them there for a good deal he flipped out and cursed at me. He told me "Get the **** out of here. Just leave and go somewhere else. You did not get your tires here". I was going to go in the car to look for my receipt. He reached in my car and started waving a stack of papers that were in his hand in my face and kept telling me just to leave. He tried to make me feel threatened. I could not wait to get out of there. He was not only rude to me but his son who works with him as well. Just kept yelling and barking orders at him. Very disrespectful establishment. I have been doing business with them for years and never experienced anything like this. I have never seen this guy there before. He is a heavy older man with facial white hair. His belly sticking out of his shirt and just a miserable human being. read more

Best tire spot in the area. 30 bucks for a low profile quality brand tire with 90% tred and free install idk how thats possible in king county. I have a mechanics degree and have painted cars most of my life and trust these guys for my tires every time. read more

Had a tire punctured on sidewall couldn't repair it instead buying a new one cause tires only had 30,000 miles on them decided to go buy one Used tire to replace the one until other tires were ready for replacement picked up a 235 40 r19 with about 90 percent tread for $66 out the door with mount and disposal of old tire saved me about $200 and having one new tire on a car with 3 old ones. guys were nice fast and helpful defiantly recommend them. 5 stars read more
