What really stood out this time was the extra effort they put in beyond their standard service. On my own request, they installed new LED lights I had just purchased next door at O'Reilly's--and they did it for free, even though it's not something they normally offer. On top of that, they ran a diagnostic on my vehicle and took the time to explain what they found clearly and honestly. This isn't my first time at jiffy lube, but this location you can see everything they are doing and changing and it absolutely amazing because sometimes I feel like other locations do the bare minimum and I don't even know if I'm getting exactly what I'm paying for. I came to this location from Southcenter location. Southcenter did not have the filter I needed but Renton on 108th Ave. SE did. Long story short, my car lost it's entire tank of oil over 7 weeks. I made an emergency stop at Southcenter where they refilled my oil. I then planned to go to a service shop to see where the leak was coming from. Turns out Jiffy Lube Renton 108th Ave. SE put the wrong plug in. I spent a little over $500 at University of Washington Volkswagen to figure this out. Volkswagen service cleaned the oil saturated on the underside of my car (including my breaks) and performed a final oil and filter change. This is an huge and unfortunate issue. My engine could have died. I returned to Renton 108th Ave. SE Jiffy Lube to seek reimbursement. In so many words they doubted my story. They said I went to Southcenter after I got the oil change originally. I didn't: I went to Southcenter first but Southcenter did not have the filter I needed. They then said my visit at Southcenter - the one where they topped off my oil - counted as service. Therefore, Renton has no responsibility. I tried to explain all Southcenter did the second time was top off my completely empty tank. Southcenter did not investigate where the oil was coming from. Southcenter, like me, assumed it was a different issue. When I went back to the Renton 108th Ave SE I was clear - they had provided the oil change, not Southcenter. They provided me the name of a former District Manager (they told me he was the District Manager). The former district manager said he would get me in touch with the district manager. I then went Southcenter and explained Renton told me the oil top off they provided counts as service, therefore Southcenter was responsible. Southcenter explained they did not touch the oil tank - only Renton 108th Ave SE did. I knew this. Southcenter provided the District Manager's email. I hope I can get reimbursed for the services I needed from Volkswagen - something that was not provided at Jiffy Lube. Being sent back and forth between locations was insulting. I understand that mistakes happen - the drain plug leak is not what ultimately upsets me. What frustrates me is the doubt cast on my factual account, the lack of responsibility, and the refusal to cover the cost of the repair caused by their mistake. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this Jiffy Lube location. read more

Easily applied and online coupon I found, so I even got a deal. It was the end of the day and they shared having done over 40 cars so far, but my car was finished very fast. I was asked if I wanted the same service I was given the last time I had gotten an oil change and I said yes. I was charged for the wrong oil. Their mistake, NOT mine and they STILL charged me the full price. The gentleman that charged me said that "The best he could do" was apply a $15 coupon to my total bringing it to $93. My oil change costs $70 after taxes & fees. I was planning on using the $15 coupon to THAT total but instead got upcharged for a mistake THEY made and didn't have the decency to fix. On top of all else - prior to the appointment I had mentioned to the service tech that my check engine light was on and he said "We'll look into that" and didn't follow up with me on it upon paying. Instead, he said "We don't handle those issues here, you can go across the street to Firestone." WHY wouldn't you have told me that in the first place instead of saying "We'll look into it" when you're just going to ignore it and point me elsewhere instead?! I have never been to this Jiffy Lube. I attempted to get my oil changed there and my GPS said you guys were open but you were closed. I did not want to drive all the way to the Audi Service in Bellevue to get it checked, so I decided to head over to Jiffy Lube in Renton (Petrovitsky) to check it really quick. I was greeted from Julio when I arrived(WHO WAS AWESOME!) I shared with him the alert on my car. He quickly saw that I needed to top off my oil and went to refill it really quick. I had both my cars serviced today at Jiffy Lube store number 2599 in Renton. They were very courteous, polite they went above and beyond my expectations. They not only changed my oil they checked air pressure in all tires, replaced my air filter, checked and topped off all my fluids. The services were performed by Ryan J, Justin C, Bryce J, and Miquon P. I was close to never coming back due to prior management gave them and have them another chance and glad I did. If I could give this zero stars I would. Jarrell told everyone to stop working after my oil had already been removed from the car. He proceeded to yell at all of his employees in the office while I sat in my car. I knocked on the window and told him I could here him and it would be better to wait to yell at his employees while no customers where there. No one was in line behind me. He should have waited until no customers were around. Obviously he has temper problems. He told me not to come back, while asking if I still had oil in my car. He told me not to interrupt his meeting again. He took his staffing issues out on his customer. Very unprofessional. read more

Update: Jiffy lube paid for the damage and I am updating the review. Those responding time took 6 weeks since the day one I filed the complain. Not an ideal timeline but they have paid for what they mess up. Three starts for how did taking the responsibility. Not bad. Original post: Jiffy lube totally ruined my car! i took my car on Feb 2017 to do oil change, the drain plug was not installed correctly, now drain plug leaking.To correct the drain plug the shop that fixing my car that will need to remove the pan and replace it with a new pan. Due to the angle of the drain plug bolt the shop will not be able to put a insert in the pan correctly and it highly unlikely it will seal correctly with out a new pan. it cost about $3500 for a BMW X5. i tried to contacted them, but they wont give me any respond and the district manager would not respond my request at all. they wont give us our invoice from Feb 2017, only provided our most recent service invoice. we are now consider a legal action for their damn job. read more
