This was an interesting experience. I pulled up. There was one car in front of me and there was probably about five people working around the car in front of me with the guy down below doing the oil changes. They pulled me up and I had 4 1/2 gallons in the trunk because Prius eat oil a lot. So I asked him if we could use it because I didn't wanna carry this big old thing around he said yes then you'll just pay for the labor. It was synthetic. I was out the door like 61 bucks now not sure if that's a great deal because the oil cost me $30. The odd thing occurred when I asked them about my tires. The gentleman opened the door and looked and said that I was 32 on the front 33 on the back and when I asked the other person, she said she did 35 all the way around so there was a lot of people doing a lot of things, but it was very odd because there was just so many people. When I was pulling in, the lady said left with her hands and the other lady said could you pay attention please. That was a little unpleasant. Overall, it was a good experience. I have a common car so their process was standardized and streamlined. They quickly read my dashboard notification and gave me the services my car requested, oil change, air filters, & brake fluid and a recommendation for what they couldn't do (transmission). So they quickly looked at my engine air filter and said I didn't need a new one, however a second opinion said I did. Looking at the filter myself, the intake side was very dirty and full of junk, but the output side was clean. I would've appreciated they look more into this. Nevertheless I'll change it myself now and from now on. I'll reiterate they did not charge me for this but simply did not check in detail. I did watch them remove the dirty cabin air filter and replace it with a brand new one, and I appreciated Cody showing me both old and new filters. read more

I have never received such strange, hostile service from a Jiffy Lube location, all from one employee in particular while her coworkers stood around seemingly embarrassed at what they were witnessing. I was guided in by her, with such specific, nitpicky instructions that I may have thought I was doing something incorrect had I not done this dozens of times before at plenty of other locations without such issue. Thankfully, I only had to deal with her again at the end of the transaction, with was also incredibly unpleasant. I had a $10 coupon to use, as I have at literally every other location I have ever visited, without issue. The guy who I showed the coupon to said to show it at the end when they took my card payment. Well, this unpleasant woman unfortunately was the one to walk up to my car to take the payment. I guess she wanted to just take my card and walk over to the terminal, you know, get me out ASAP (there was nobody waiting behind me), so when I presented the coupon, she sighed loudly and said, "Wait, I have to go get the terminal," as if I had inconvenienced her. She then shoved the sticker with the next recommended mileage for service in my face before she walked away. I am more than fine with not having it put on my windshield for me (although every other location I've been to has done so), but I am not fine with such a rude, physical display like that. Again, her coworkers witnessed this and all seemed embarrassed by the behavior. After taking my card to the terminal and talking about who knows what with several coworkers for at least a minute, she walked back over to me, and gave me the card and receipt, without a word. No "thank you for your business," or "you're good to go." I also didn't get any rundown on what was done, or found throughout the service. I guess I should be thankful noone tried to add anything on to the total? But then I wonder if they were just instructed by this woman to give me as little service as possible considering what I experienced at the beginning and the very end. I wish I had said something in the moment, at the location, but frankly I didn't really feel safe to considering how badly I was being treated. I have no idea what I did on my end to deserve such poor treatment, but I will never visit this location again, and I honestly hope it was just something about me that prompted this behavior from her, so no other paying customers have to be treated so poorly and gaslit into thinking they've done something wrong by patronizing the place this person works at. read more

‼ PLEASE READ BEFORE USING THIS LOCATION ‼ On 06/25/25, I went to Jiffy Lube for a simple oil top-off. Just a few days later, my check engine light came on, and my car completely shut down in the middle of the road. I had to push it to a nearby parking lot myself. When I opened the hood, smoke came blasting out, and I discovered that the oil cap had not been put back on. All the oil had leaked out, and it appears the engine failure may have also damaged some electrical components. My car was completely dead and would not restart. I immediately contacted Jiffy Lube. After reviewing video footage, they confirmed that their technician had failed to put the oil cap back on. A Jiffy Lube employee came out, inspected the vehicle, and agreed that the issue likely stemmed from their error. He promised a rental car, a tow, and said the car would be evaluated by their mechanic and repaired if the oil loss was confirmed to be the cause (which it obviously was). I offered to have AAA tow the car to their service center myself, but the manager insisted I leave the keys with him, as I was heading out of town for a week. He told me they would handle the tow in my absence. That was a huge mistake. When I returned, I found out they had not sent the tow as promised--for four entire days. During that time, my car was impounded. I received zero updates, was essentially ghosted, and left completely in the dark. Now, more than a week later, my situation has only gotten worse. I've been passed off to their corporate claims department, which continues to either ignore me or send vague replies like "we have no update." I have not received the rental car they promised, my vehicle is still inoperable, and it remains stuck in impound, accruing daily fees that would have been completely avoidable if they had simply let me tow it with AAA like I originally offered. To make matters worse, the manager still has my car keys and continues to provide zero information or assistance. Because of this, I am now unable to get to work. Jiffy Lube is fully aware of this and has done absolutely nothing to fix their mistake or honor their original promises. This is either incompetence, a complete lack of integrity, or both. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau, and until this is resolved, I highly encourage you to go anywhere else for service. This company ruined my car over a basic oil top-off and is now dodging responsibility while I'm left without transportation, answers, or support. read more

I've been to this location of Jiffy Lube twice and both times I've had terrible experiences. The first time I came here was 30 minutes before closing, not to excuse what they did but it's a bit understanding. They forgot to put my engine cover on, left my oil cap on top of my engine, and disconnected a sensor. Not even 2 minutes after leaving, a check engine light was turned on and I had to go home and finish what they should have done. Today was my second time in and it's only worse than last time. They poured the wrong oil in, an employee was extremely rude and hit my car with his towel to kill a bug, and much more. Honestly this place should be shut down. I've been using Jiffy Lube for oil changes exclusively since I got my first car. I've been to plenty of different locations and have had mediocre experiences, but the price was always good and they got the job done. I started coming to the Southcenter location because it's close to my job. The people who work at this location have been incredible every single time! I'm sorry I don't have names, would love to recognize the individuals. I am usually there on the weekdays between 5pm and 6pm. All the guys I've interacted with there have been friendly and helpful. They are respectful, efficient, and don't try to sell me on anything or take advantage of me not knowing much about cars. I always call to make sure it's okay to come in towards their closing time, as soon as I roll up, they address me by name and get to work immediately. If they needed to open my car door to get my info, they tell me ahead of time so I'm not caught off guard. As a woman, I appreciate them taking those steps to make me feel more comfortable. One of my first times there, I was getting my oil changed and realized I didn't have any way of paying. They were so patient with me (even though they closed soon) while I figured it out and were offering me solutions while I was panicking. I've never had such great service at a Jiffy Lube before. I have used Jiffy Lube almost exclusively for the life of my vehicles and most of that time at this location on 180th. For me it is a great value especially if you can find a coupon. The team checked me in and ran down the. Services and suggested a couple of add on services. I was ok with that and then asked about a transmission service and there was some going back and forth and we had to wait for the manager to get back from wherever as he was the one that could do the work, upon his return he tells my tech can't do the transmission service because my vehicle needs a special tube that mysteriously disappeared from their shop. The only other nitpick is the team were a bit sloppy with filling the oil. Dripped all over the engine shroud. They wiped it up but thought they could be a bit more careful. I do want to say that one tech named Josh was the highlight the service. Very informative and proactive to the service. Go give them a try! read more

Fast service with two major mistake, first was installed wrong oil filter and blu off seconds after start the engine and the second one was oil spilled on the engine around when they refill with new oil from some jug ! I've been going to different Jiffy Lube locations out of convienence to my current location. This Tukwila one didn't disappoint. I've been impressed with every single JL shop I've gone to over the past 15 years. Got my standard oil change. The guys were friendly, got me in and out in less than 15 minutes, checked my air filter and didn't try to upsell me into anything I didn't need. Top notch service provided by Kevin. We were very pleased with the timelines of the oil change. A vehicle was occupying one of the two lanes for service and Kevin explained the vehicle was undergoing several services so it would take a while as only one lane was open. Vehicle service completed in about 45-minutes. By the way, we had sticker shock at the high prices for a simple oil change. Regular oil vs synthetic oil vs various blends. Mind boggling. i felt like everyone was outside waiting for me! guys got me in right away, told me everything that was recommended, and everything optional they could do while i was there. i know it's part of their job to up-sell but they were pretty transparent about what's needed vs what could wait if i needed to. they did my oil change, trans case, both diff's and break fluid services in under an hour, and i had a very smooth and satisfying drive home. like they say in all services; a prefect service is good, fast, and cheap. but perfect service doesn't exist, so you want great service. with great service you get to pick 2. i chose good, and fast, so the service wasn't cheap, but it was definitely fast, and very, very good! i recommend this jiffy lube. GREAT SERVICE these guys were cool af and all with smiles on their faces which can make a big difference especially if you're already having a crappy day like I was. This oil change literally changed my mood, it's an oil/mood change place if you use it right lol. Josh from Oklahoma came up and greeted me shook my hand like a man, shot the shoot with me for a sec and then directed me to a bay. Jack let me know and printed all the manufacture recommendations and when I told him I was strapped for cash he did the right thing and directed me to some coupons on the website that significantly made a difference in price. Jacob changed my oil and did it quickly and friendly and Justin rang me up, all while I sat in my car. Very cool experience so much so that I will be back to get some of these other recommended services done when I can afford them. And apparently they almost all have names that start with "J" there was also a Jayden and Julian that I didn't meet but I'm sure they're cool also. Overall I'm very pleased with the experience and as long as nothing happens with the car, like assuming the work was done correctly(I'm pretty confident that it was), I will definitely be back. Do not go there. My daughter took my 2014 vehicle there for an oil change. She needed it before she traveled from Seattle to San Diego for a job. When she left the service station her steering wheel wasn't working right. She took it back and asked them to check the steering wheel fluid. They opened the hood only and said everything was fine and that the vehicle was old and needed to be warmed up. She continued on her trip with no change in the steering. She finally stopped again in Portland OR at a different Jiffy Lube and they checked the fluid only to find that it was lacking and needed to have more added. Problem was solved. How unprofessional and unacceptable! I hope none of those technicians has a family member in need of service on the road and get met with the same disgrace. This is my preferred shop for oil changes. They are always quick, friendly and even changed my blown headlight bulb for free (I had a spare bulb). I miss being able to wait in the lounge while they vacuum out my car and rotate the tires, but I can't fault them for discontinuing that with the rona going around. Top notch service! read more

Quick & easy oil change . Only thing I wish is they wouldn't of touched a coolant bleeder value. It was kind of rigged. Never ask them to do anything to or with it but the man doing the service twisted it than it started leaking. That's my only complaint. read more
