This morning my Daughter with her "3-year old son" had a flat across the street from this Firestone location 1820 N. Pebble Creek Parkway in Goodyear. She drove the car into Firestone and went inside to ask if they could help her. They told her they couldn't touch the car for at least 5 hours. She was up front saying these were new tires were under warranty with Discount Tire and asked if they could at least change out the spare for her since and again rudely responded "can't help you" even though she offered to pay for the labor. I had her call roadside assistance with my insurance company and they had a truck there in less than 10 minutes and replaced with spare in Firestone's parking lot. After that she went directly to Discount Tire on McDowell in Goodyear and was taken care of immiedialtly even though they had a full lobby already . By the way "no customers were in the Firestone waiting room. This seems to be the normal customer experience for Firestone that I have seen over the years and not just with this location. However I have never had an issue or complaint dealing with Discount/America's Tire ever, great service -great people. read more

I've been bringing my cars here since I moved into the area in 2012. Never had an issue until today. Scheduling an appointment means nothing. Brought my car at the scheduled time. The service was supposed to only take an hour. I came back 3 hours later and my car had not been worked on. I wouldn't have minded the delay had the person that checked me in been upfront and informed me they were short-handed. They never communicated this was the case. The new manager seemed completely overwhelmed and in over his head. I don't think I will be taking any of my vehicles to this store. My wife called this location to make an appointment to repair a small leak in a still good tire. When she got there she was told they could not fix the tire because AZ has a law stating no tires over 4 years old could be repaired and she would have to buy new tires. When I went back to the store with her I was told that there was no law in AZ that says they can't repair the tire, it's just a recommendation. I like Firestone in general because they are open on the weekends, the honor their brand even if you didn't buy the tires from them and the lifetime Alignments are a great deal. I had an appointment for an oil change at 8:30 am. I dropped off my vehicle and told them I had an appointment and that I could leave it for about 5 hours. The guy said that was no problem. It helps them out. I called to check up on it at 3:30 and they still had not done the oil change but my vehicle was next. They close at 6 pm so I decided to show up at 5:30 and NO oil change. Manager is horrible and should not even be a manager. The employee stated, "I'm going to be honest, we have been really busy". Really? So why not call me and tell me that you can't do the oil change? Why accept vehicles that you cannot work on? Why have a scheduling system? All the manager can say is "sorry". Sorry for not doing your job? Dude you need management training. Firestone is a joke! Answer your phones. Ever since you went to centralized phone screening, I can NEVER speak to anyone at a store. The Canyon Trails store had no issues and performed magnificently. Your other two stores in the area I spent over 15 minutes on hold waiting to speak to someone in hopes of finding out if they could fix my tire. Mind you this was at 5:00 pm, two hours before they closed. Since the tires were warrantied, I needed to go to one of your stores. I drove to the closest one who told me they couldn't take care of me until the next morning. I was willing to wait. Answer was still no. This wasn't the quality of care your company presented when I spent $1400 on tires. So I put air in my tire and proceeded to drive to the next nearest store, 12.5 miles away. Upon arriving I was told the exact same thing as the first store. By the time I reached Canyon Trails I was pretty heated. The WORST customer service ever! I walked in no one acknowledged for awhile I was standing right in front of a female she could have one moment. The supervisor finally acknowledged me. I was late 5 mins if even that because of work I needed an oil change before we left town next day. They refused said I can leave it over night and they would get to it sometime tomorrow which we were leaving early in the morning so that wouldn't work. I been bringing my car here for several year. This will be my last time. I bough brand new sets of tires here. So when it time for a rotation I brought it back for them to rotate. Well let say they half ass everything at best. I'm not even sure if everything is put back right. I can only see what is in plain sight. First problem. Brought my car in with 4 center cap. Came back home to find only 3. Called and informed them. They said they were gonna order me a new one. Never called me back this is going on week 2. Second problem! They most likely rush through like they did for the wheel and forgot to secure my latch at bottom of the car where you attached the lift. Needles to say because they fail to secure it. It got ripped off when I drove it in last week storm. If you value your car don't bring it to these guys. I know why they get it done so fast!! It's way they don't do it correctly. I've been a Firestone customer for the last 5+ years. Unfortunately, this location lacks in customer service. It took them 15 minutes to get the oil changed in my car, and when I asked "he's done with my car" I was told in a defensive manner " Didn't you see him do it?", to which responded, I was just wondering as I hadn't gotten comfortable with my book. I'm sorry if I offended you by asking. He then goes on to say "it's the end of the day and they are ready to go home. Now, I'm worried if a half a** job was done. I'll have to be diligent in making sure my car doesn't leave oil spots in the driveway or smoke coming out of the engine. Now, the gentleman that checked me out was apologetic when I mentioned the conversation. My belief is it doesn't matter if it's the end of the day, until you close your doors, you are to be attentive to your customers. Brought my car on at 3:40 pm on June 15,2021 for a blown front tire. Requested two new front tires be put on car. Was told by Sean that it would be 1 1/2 hours as they had two in front of me. Here it is 6:00 pm and they still have not gotten to my car. Called from the waiting room as no one was inside and hadn't been for awhile. Phone was answered from the shop area by a mechanic who got snotty with me and told me I could wait or take my keys and ho, as he had an ADDITIONAL two in front of me. I asked him just where I was going to go with a blown tire. His reply was I don't know. Do not come here unless you enjoy being lied to and talked at in a snotty attitude, and pretty much being told your business isn't important. I am contacting management in the morning. read more

I was a little hesitant bringing my car over to this Firestone , after reading reviews and me personally don't write to many but , I have to give these guys a high 5. This location is extremely busy , the phones ring off the hook which explains why it' was hard for me to call in. I'm a manger myself of a smaller buisiness.. But the staff was extremely polite even when dealing with a rude over privileged customer who thought she could jump everyone in the waiting room. It's a shame that the only reviews are people complaining so I have to say I was very satisfied , Although the service did take two days I know the frustration and just looking at the parking lot , people have no common sense when they walk in that this is a busy store almost every slot in the parking lot is taken. Great experience at Fire Stone! John the store manager helped me out with my Jeep right before they closed. In most cases when I've gone into vehicle repair shops before they close I'm turned away or they are pretty upset that have to squeeze in another customer an hour before close, But not Firestone. John was extremely helpful and kind as well as the lady at the register. I most definitely will see them for all my auto needs from now on. I feel as if i made some new friends. My mom scheduled an appointment online for 11 am on a Saturday. She never got a confirmation so she called the morning of and after waiting on hold for 10 minutes, she asked if they had her down for 11. When she asked, the man on the phone said anything online was not actually booked because their website is down. There was no warning on the website letting her know that. The man was very rude. Then she asked if he could just check and make sure she did not have an appointment and he told her "Let me finish up here and I'll go check" and then he hung up on her. She got no call back and really didn't feel like she should call back because of this extremely poor customer service. She didn't think she would be helped if she did call back. She's taking it to discount tire now. Firestone was absolutely horrible. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Had a low tire indicator, filled it up, next day, same alert, same tire. Called firestone (where I got my tires) and said I could make an appointment. I'm an audiologist and have scheduled patients all day every day. I called back after thinking about it and Lee answered the phone. Said they close at 7 but they were really backed up and offered to let me come in after hours so they could take a look since they'd still be working late. They worked me in when I got there after 7. Turns out I had a 2 inch nail in my tire. They fixed it and I was out of there within an hour after they checked everything. Customer service was top notch. Showed up early (1220) for my 1230 appointment. Vehicle was due for an alignment. Vehicle did not enter the device area until 1:40pm. An hour and 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. Vehicle was not released to me until nearly 3pm. The only adjustments made to my vehicle were was the toe alignment. A VERY simple adjustment. Unacceptable. If I did not previously purchase the alignment for life program I would not return here. Was I ever told sorry for my 2.5 hr wait time for a simple toe adjustment? Nope. Went in to get an oil change, a new battery and get fix a leak in my evaporative system (leaks that my emissions test said needed fixing). they wanted $700 for: a new battery oil change the diagnostic test (to look for the leaks) and two valves that "needed" replacing I paid for the diagnostic and oil change $150 paid $120 for a new battery at Walmart instead of the $235 battery and installation from Forestone. Took it to Affordable Auto Care in Mesa. IT WAS MY FREAKING GAS CAP !! $25 later, I pass my emissions test, didn't have to pay for the diagnostic test. Firestone not only charged me up the butt for a diagnostic test but tried to give me unnecessary repair recommendations. I will NEVER go back there. I live in Goodyear and I'd rather drive to East Mesa and get quality care than take it down the street and get screwed over. read more

I have literally never been to a better Firestone type establishment with better service! Sean, the manager, is a great guy who always updates you on your cars service needs without putting pressure on you the upscale; just informational! One time they felt so bad that my oil change took so long that they voluntarily offered to comp my next oil change. I was very satisfied with that! I show up to pick up and my vehicle just got on the lift and wheels off. Didn't see a tech in sight for like 30 minutes. So I asked the black lady working the computer and she said "I don't know anything I just work the computer and handle the paperwork" 4 hours later and some change my vehicle is finally on the ground and the tech disappears again for 10 minutes. We took our sons car here for an oil change- and we really shouldn't have. First they only offer Pennzoil no other options. The oil change was supposed to be 45 minutes it took over 2 hours. The car was perfectly fine then we get home and it's dumping oil all over my driveway. We have to wait till the next Morning to call them - they send someone over who then has us bring it back to the shop. It's at the shop for several more hours only to bring it home and it's STILL Leaking. Now we have to bring it back AGAIN- this is literally 3 days of not being able to drive the car. They lie about what times - one hour is constantly quoted but it's a lie. Won't ever go here again- they should refund my oil change for the waste of time and damages they caused us. read more
