Around noon they finally told me I had a tire that was unrepairable and that I needed a new tire. So 2 hours later they finally had the tire replaced. Never told me in the morning when I showed up that it would take that long to get someone to look at my truck. I would have gone somewhere else and given them business instead of waiting 7 hours, that's unacceptable! I had to keep going up and asking how much longer was it going to be. Drove all the way down to Goodyear location just for them to tell me the guy who works on alignments for all the vehicles was off that day and told me he would be in tomorrow. No worries I said. They also said they didn't feel comfortable or didn't think they knew how to adjust it. One of the workers said he can adjust the toe for me and I'd get a discount because who would want to pay 140$ for an alignment just for the toe adjustment? So I refused and asked if I was able to keep the vehicle there until the technician arrives the next day and they said it's fine. Next day comes waited all day for them just to call me back to say they didn't know how to do it and then I asked about just aligning the toe and they said they couldn't give me a discount after I told them yesterday the worker said they were able to do it so they wanted to charge me full price afterwords. So yeah this place will lie to you and take advantage of you they also said the technician was able to do it and therefore was unsuccessful. On a Honda civic by the way so if you really want to shut this place down I'd start by not coming here at all I'm just disappointed on the outcome of how this was these people had my hopes up and pretty much screwed me over and sent me back on my way in a unsafe vehicle they just want your money lol.

Although many tire shops came up in my search, one company stood out to me -- that wasn't even a dedicated tire shop. It was Wilhelm Automotive. The reason they stood out to me was because of the glowing reviews from customers, like myself, who have limited knowledge surrounding auto-repair needs... or knowing who to trust! (Especially for those of us who tend to feel intimidated by auto-repair shops that have been dishonest, are all about 'up-selling' services & parts you don't actually need and/or those who are 'shady' at best. I was also surprised to see an auto repair shop that came up on a tire shop search. But right at the top of their reviews, there was a review surrounding Wilhelm providing excellent service that involved tires/tire fixes and replacement. After filling the tire up with air, I noticed a nail with a slow leak, and since they were so close, I drove out their way. I just have to say that deciding to go to Wilhelm Automotive when I was having an issue with my tire was the best decision I could have ever made. Not only did they fix my flat tire, they also looked at and fixed another tire that I had been having issues with. No shop in Los Angeles would fix it for me, insisting that I needed to purchase a brand new tire (which actually meant buying two new tires because of the all-wheel drive situation on my 2015 Subaru Outback). Even from the exact tire shop that I had originally ~ and recently~ bought 4 brand new tires from!!! Wilhelm Automotive fixed both tires no problem and with none of the issues I was repeatedly told there would be, by multiple shops I had asked to. (I was a bit shocked, and when I asked how they ended up fixing it... with a patch or plug? I was told that they did a combination of both to ensure that the tire is solidly and permanently fixed, is completely safe and 'as good as new')!! They also had my passenger side windshield wiper blade in stock (that I had asked about as well) and replaced it for me after fixing my tires. When I went up to the counter to pay my bill after my car was brought out for me (only 40 mins later, I was told 'you're good to go! we're good! just please consider using us for any other car repairs that might come up')! I could t believe it!! I was in total shock... they wouldn't even let me pay for the wiper blade and I pretty much had to force them to, at very least, take a tip from me!!! I was ~delightfully~ in shock the rest of the day. I have made my folks (& their friends & neighbors) promise me to ONLY go to Wilhelm Auto from here on out!! I'm sorry to report that this review is {finally} here ~ so long after-the-fact, but life as a hard-working single Mom has a way of coming in between such things. But exceptional, honest, professional and CARING service is never out of fashion -- nor is a review for it!! ********************************** It's incredibly rare to find an auto repair shop these days that encompasses all of these and more!! I understand they have rules and guidelines. But, like every business, you need to train your employees how to communicate said rules and guidelines in a manner where you don't come across like a second rate scammer looking for a up charge. immediately I called Costco and Firestone. The difference was instant. when they looked up the vehicle in their computer they saw Toyotas rules and guidelines and were immediately calm and understanding and acted like humans doing a job wherein you interacted with other humans. Run over something on the freeway at 70 miles an hour and my oil pan is hit (I think) dragging on the freeway making a god-awful horrific noise, we get off at Buckeye, limping in and by the grace of God, we found West Valley Tires! A mechanic propped my car up looked underneath and said, "yep it's your oil pan"! Then two mechanics worked their magic under my car, and we were on our way. I can't tell you the relief. Still having to get to Tucson and then back home to Los Angeles. I wasn't sure what I was going to do! My anxiety was off the charts. The guys at West Valley Tires, were so thoughtful, kind and got us on our way in about 15 minutes. They would've been worth every penny, but they didn't even charge me! What a stand-up business. I showed up just after 8 am to get a slow-leaking tire patched. Tho there were 3 guys there, "the tire guy" wasn't there. I was told he was on his way. By nearly 8:30, when I just had to get out of there, I left. I returned yesterday (about a week later) with the same issue. I called beforehand to be sure someone would be there this time to deal with it. He said to come on, that no one was ahead of me. I was there in about ten minutes, but they merely took off my wheel. Quite a while later, I wanted to know if there wasn't someone who could patch my tire so I could leave. Finally, someone got on it, put the wheel back on, and (even tho two of them recalled my previous experience) they gave me no break but even charged me twice the amount that same place did before it changed hands! :( (Yes, I used them before a few times for the same work on other tires. While I am a local around the…read morecorner and have utilize their services in emergency situations, I began to spend a few extra dollars there out of convenience while anticipating a few check list items to be addressed in my upcoming services I anticipated. Many times we discussed the replacement of my tires, and in each event, he expressed regularly that he can order them for me, but I would have to go pick them up. I expressed regularly I'm not paying retail and I will get my materials and bring them back when I'm ready to add a few other items to the agenda. Never once did he articulate that I could not bring outside tires on my own and that they are not allowed to put outside tires on if they were not purchased through the establishment. The store is regularly not busy and in an old part of town. Regularly have I seen the service writer bored on the couch to an empty shop while waiting for services. Things like this are to be expected in a tire shop, the frustration I have is when lazy men like this do not want to articulate clear details to a woman who is a certified mechanic herself. I was happy and disappointed to take my money elsewhere and have my oil changes, service alignment, and while having my tires mounted and balanced at another local franchised establishment.
