OK THESE GUYS WERE AMAZING!!! Picture this, three girls driving from LA to Tucson Arizona for a dear friend's wedding. Run over something on the freeway at 70 miles an hour and my oil pan is hit (I think) dragging on the freeway making a god-awful horrific noise, we get off at Buckeye, limping in and by the grace of God, we found West Valley Tires! A mechanic propped my car up looked underneath and said, "yep it's your oil pan"! Then two mechanics worked their magic under my car, and we were on our way. I can't tell you the relief. Still having to get to Tucson and then back home to Los Angeles. I wasn't sure what I was going to do! My anxiety was off the charts. The guys at West Valley Tires, were so thoughtful, kind and got us on our way in about 15 minutes. They would've been worth every penny, but they didn't even charge me! What a stand-up business. One poster said these guys were amazing. Yes, "were" being the keyword here! After they changed ownership, my last two experiences were no longer the same. I showed up just after 8 am to get a slow-leaking tire patched. Tho there were 3 guys there, "the tire guy" wasn't there. I was told he was on his way. By nearly 8:30, when I just had to get out of there, I left. I returned yesterday (about a week later) with the same issue. I called beforehand to be sure someone would be there this time to deal with it. He said to come on, that no one was ahead of me. I was there in about ten minutes, but they merely took off my wheel. Quite a while later, I wanted to know if there wasn't someone who could patch my tire so I could leave. Finally, someone got on it, put the wheel back on, and (even tho two of them recalled my previous experience) they gave me no break but even charged me twice the amount that same place did before it changed hands! :( (Yes, I used them before a few times for the same work on other tires. Now I'm just waiting to see if the patch holds!) read more

This is my FOURTH VISIT TO this location in a week. And sadly due to the urgency of my tire problems, I kept forgetting to check in. I was soooo very stressed out. I've had issues with my rim and tire for 2 weeks and finally decided to stop by this location. I didn't look it up on Yelp. The one and only time I am glad I didn't read any reviews because I had the most appreciative experience every time. I chose to stop by because it was near the house, it looked clean and friendly. I realized it used to be owned by a different company and now it looks brand new. So I walked in the very first day and I was greeted by Jose, he was very friendly, I told him what was going on with my tire and he got right to work. I didn't feel intimidated at all. Sometimes as a woman, I think men will try to think I know nothing about cars or we can't handle ourselves, but that's not me. And let me tell you, Jose made sure I felt heard and understood everything that was going on in every single visit I had to make. The four visits I made were due to other shops not finishing the job all the way or not correctly. Jose was friendly and the last time I came in with my husband and my son, he took the time to show him his monster truck out back and answer my sons inquisitive questions. I needed air for my tire and I was exhausted from stopping by gas stations only to find out that their air and tire pump is not working. So I decided to try my luck and see if this place will do it for me and they did it in 5 seconds. They also have tire caps which is an all in one stop. So if i call you and say i need some tires, and you don't have them in stock, shouldn't you say that on the phone? We get down there after calling for 4 tires for our RV, and they say they have them. Get down there and are told they need to be ordered and could get there by 10am next morning (we are there at 10am the previous day). We changed our order to 6 tires, but they gotta order anyway so shouldn't be a big deal right? I asked if they wanted us to leave a deposit. Nope. Prepay? Nope. Take our number down? Nope. Ok then I guess we'll just be there tomorrow at 10am. Next day i tell my husband to call first before we drove down there. Guess what, no tires. Apparently they can have them in by 3pm and put 2 tires on today. I already told them yesterday that we were only in town for a few days. Not gonna wait around for 2 tires today, 2 tomorrow, possibly 2 more the next day. The guy on the phone didn't sound apologetic, nor did he give any valid excuse as to why the order wasn't in. Instead of waiting and giving this place our business, we drove out to GCR Tires in Phoenix. And it ended up cheaper there anyway and they got us in right away. I called on a Monday for pricing of 4 new tires, I called 3 other places including Costco West Valleys prices beat all competitors. I then checked reviews West Valleys reviews were what made me choose them. I called WV tires back was told tires would be ordered and install could be the following day after I get of work. It literally took them 30 minutes max to do the tire change, and they were aware of my automatic suspension on my Range Rover ensured it was not engaged prior to raising my SUV. Just went here at 3/22/19 at 4:30 on Friday and asked if these guys could fix a trailer tire flat and mount a tire for me they did in less that 15mins and then I asked what my bill was and he said nothing! Terrible customer service and communication. I needed a new tire that was under warranty and I just moved here from WA. They would not order it and bill another Point S office that was willing to pay the shipping. They told me they could get it in 4 days and in 9 days when I called back to see what the hold up was, they changed their story and said they only could order it if they had 10,000# of tires to order. It was a mess and I will never deal with them again. The other office (in Washington) finally ordered it and sent it to them otherwise I would still be driving on a donut. They were kind when I did get it put on but that was far to late in my opinion. read more
