Fantastic customer service! I was running late to work, but concerned I was out of oil. I asked if someone could just please check my levels to see if I could hold off another day or two when I had more time for a full oil change. The customer service technician named Red, immediately checked my oil levels himself, said I was a little low and for my peace of mind added a quart and a half for me. Came in on a Saturday morning at 8am to drop off my car for a simple coolant leak repair. The tech who was supposed to be working on it left early for the day and nobody told me anything after I had to find other means of transportation all day and waited on a call all day. I finally called an hour before close at 6pm and they told me they didn't even diagnose my car. They told me to bring it in the next day, which is today, and they'll get me in for sure. So I call first thing this morning and they said sorry we can't do it, bring it in tomorrow morning and maybe we'll get to it. Employees were nice and the service on my car went well but I'm disappointed about their recommendations. This says more about the company's practice than the people working. I came in knowing what I wanted - a lifetime alignment for $200 and a tire rotation. After dropping my car off, I get a call saying they had 3 recommendations 1. Oil change 2. Cabin air filter change 3. Engine filter change. I changed 1 and 2 last month, confused I asked if I was already low on oil. Employee tells me they recommended it based on my car age. I could only guess they didn't physically check for any of that so I tell him no thank you. I return to pick up my car, a different employee is getting me checked out and says he does not feel comfortable selling me a lifetime alignment due to framework damage (fair enough) but that he wants to instead charge me $100 for a single alignment with 12 month warranty. 1 alignment for $100 versus lifetime for $200, I said I'll stick to my decision. He asks if I would like to finance the purchase (through Firestone credit card), no thank you I already paid cash. I don't know too much about what goes on under the hood so I dislike the shady practices of some mechanics. I've paid money for recommended services I don't actually need and I'm tired of it but I'm finally learning how to see through this. read more

Had an alignment done. They twisted and tore my rack and pinion boots and didn't tell me. I only noticed later that night. I told them and took it back. The mechanic put a clamp back on the torn boot and said it's no big deal. It might not be a big deal but it's not quality work. I expected to have the boot replaced at least. My truck is old (2005) but the rack is only 1 year old and the boot didn't need to be torn. They didn't really apologize so I feel like this kind of work is acceptable to them. I haven't tried this location before, I had a really great experience. The service was great, they kept me updated on the work they performed on my car and when they found an issue they let me know and recommended what we should do but didn't try to push me in any way. Like most Bridgestone's, they have free wifi which is nice. This location also has a Keurig coffee maker with 6-7 different flavors which was a nice surprise. I will definitely be back at this location. read more

I have taken my car to this location a number of times. Every time I received quality service. The last time I took my car in for a brake job Chris called me up to let me know what they found and how much it would cost. It was a bit costly but that was my fault. I had taken the car in a year earlier for other work and they recommended the brake job but I declined. I would take it in later. Well, I waited too long and that resulted in a costlier job. I will continue to use this Firestone location. I highly recommend them. read more

My battery just died out of nowhere! I jump started the battery and drove straight to Firestone. When I got there, they checked my battery and started/ alternator, turns out the battery was no good. They ended up changing my battery and even waiving the $25 battery checking fee. They were extremely helpful. I was in and out within the hour. The staff did everything that they could to take care of my car and make it as cheap as possible for this broke newly graduated college kid! Didn't want to give a bad review but hey, gotta let the people know. Car wouldn't start and needed a jump for 4 consecutive days. Finally brought car in to replace battery. Was told that my battery was fine, just the cables were loose. I informed them that the cables were probably loose because I, an amateur, was trying to clean the terminals myself the day before, and likely didn't do a good job tightening things back. They ignored that, and insisted that loose cables was the only problem, charged the battery and sent me on my way. The next day, drive to Dallas for a doctor's appointment and the battery dies again after appointment. I was stranded in Dallas for a few hours. The next day, I bring car back to them (have store credit w Firestone. Literally only reason), they still insist that battery was fine, but replace it anyway at my request. Haven't had any issues since they replaced battery. If they'd just listened to me the first time, I don't get stranded in Dallas and have to take off for 2nd Firestone appointment. This was over a month and we've had no problems. So poor review is for misdiagnosis, and ignoring my explanation. Seemed like good people otherwise. read more

I went for an inspection and tire rotation. There was a small mix up and they accidentally changed my oil instead of the tire rotation. I was going to be upset but they were so professional and helpful and admitted their fault in not hearing me correctly and took off the charge for the oil change. It was a quick fix and didn't take much longer! The staff at this location is very helpful and professional. The inside of the store is also clean. Sometimes I feel weird going to auto places as a woman but I was very comfortable here! I will definitely come back to this professional and awesome environment! Will never use them again... Lied to me told me my rotors were worn and needed replaced Measurements were .330 & .327 replace per manufacturer at .370..had them checked at NTB measurements were .427 & .426 still almost new. Firestone changed the oil as well did not tighten oil filter or oil plug. When I called Tim rambled on that there was no malicious intent. They will up sale and even when they do the repairs they will make sure you have to bring your vehicle back. Not very helpful or informative about what you need to have worked on. I had my fuel pressure regulator replaced a year ago, then my head gasket went out and now my fuel pressure regulator has gone out again. Not only was the costumer service IMPECCABLE, but they got my car mirror replaced and fixed for over $100 LESS than the dealership quoted me! They saved me so much money, and went above and beyond for me to check if the cover from the old mirror fit the new one (which it did, which is lucky!) and therefor saved me even MORE money because now I don't have to get it painted!!! This is my last time I'll have my oil change here at Firestone. And the guy told me that my battery NEEDS REPLACEMENT, showed me an OLD TICKET BATTERY TEST showing how bad the range is, I noticed that the ticket was old and stained. So I asked him to test it again and show print the ticket. DAMN SHIT! The ticket paper is white as new and the result is excellent! How would you TRUST these motherfuckers now a days when real business now have been corrupted so much focusing on how to scam and make money and not investing on customer care and services. And MY BATTERY is actually new, got it a month ago at NTB. One thing I hate is when business treats customers like stupid people. And NEVER EVER FALL ON AN EXPENSIVE ENGINE AIR FILTER CHANGE just buy it for $11 something and change it yourself! You have youtube and the whole internet! He walked away with my keys before I could tell him I was no longer interested. My daughter's attending school in Denton- we're about an hour away from her. Her Jeep wouldn't start- luckily close to this Firestone location. A Tech walked over to try and jump it but that didn't work. Had the Jeep towed to the shop and they let my daughter know it wouldn't be looked at until Tue. This happened on a Sat. afternoon. This let me know they were busy and had lots of customers, other than having to wait a few days this was a good sign. They called me back on Tue to update me with the issue which wasn't too straight forward- they had to really test and try quite a few things first in order to get to the bottom of it. With some of the issues and time that were mentioned I figured I was in for at least $1,000 to get the Jeep going again. Chris the Tech initially told he he felt that it was the Ignition Switch but if that didn't work it could have been the Starter along with the Battery. Luckily it wound up just being the Ignition Switch BUT they could have told me it was also the Starter and Battery to rack up the cost and I wouldn't have had the option but to trust them and go with what they told me. Luckily after charging the battery overnight and replacing the Ignition Switch it started up and paid significantly less than $1K. Glad to know there are honest shops out there looking out for us and my daughter while she's there for school. She'll be there for the next few years- if anything pops up with her Jeep, we'll be going back to the Brinker Rd. Firestone. THANKS John and Chris!!! read more

I go in at 7:00 am this morning hoping to get an oil change before work, and there is not a single customer yet. I ask if I can get a standard oil change and I am told no they are too busy as I look behind where there is not a single customer. I proceed to ask if i can get an appointment Saturday morning and I am told no they are busy without him even checking the computer for any open appointments. There are far too many service stations to have an oil change to accept such rude shitty customer service. Don't take your car here unless you want to return it several times to get fixed - and meanwhile you're driving a very unsafe car. I had to return my fusion 3 times earlier this year (2018) and the initial return was told 'give it time to adjust'. I thought, ok this is a one time incident - nope! I took my Honda Civic in July 2018 where they replaced the power steering, struts, etc. After picking it up we went back the same day and complained that the car didn't feel right. They said 'give it time to adjust'. A week later, the steering wheel locked and we ended up having an accident going over curbs (thank God we weren't on the freeway). Their best advice... open a claim with your insurance company as we don't do body work and your insurance company can issue a claim on us. Yep, not again for Firestone on Brinker, Denton Tx. I arrived at the store 2 minutes before closing time, with my tire pressure light on, and the men working here aired up my tires for me even though they had already started their closing process! It was very much appreciated :) I've also had work done on my previous car by them and they are always very friendly and prompt with their service. read more

Take your vehicle somewhere else. Okay, I have waited over a month to write this. I did not want to write it while being pissed. I took my vehicle in because it was losing power while driving. They said it was the exhaust caskets. The cost was over $1000.00. Got it back in 2 days with it doing the exact same thing. Then they replaced a sensor which helped but caused other issues and then I had an oil leak too. Called the district manager but never got a call back from him only from the same store. Took it to the University store. They fixed that by replacing the caskets again. But then my check engine light came on. They said that now I needed my Idle Sensor replaced. It was just one big loop of repairs. Denton is a college town and I can imagine how many younger people that are taken advantage of. I took it elsewhere.
